My stock 2017 Gt350 felt sluggish below 3500 rpm, then I put lighter wheels on it with same tires that came with it , and it made a noticeable difference in acceleration and below 3500 it feels like it has more torque. I dropped 9 pounds per corner. Those stock wheels/tire combo weighed in at over 60 pounds!. Thanks Ford for the boat anchors😾. Great information.
@@clavicusvile5450 p 51 wheels 19 inch , I believe 11 inch up front and 11.5 in back, I put the stock tires on them, 305 in back and 295 up front. No issues with spokes cracking like other people have said about them. I drive normal not crazy and acceleration much improved below 4000 rpm. Hope this helps. Just google p 51 wheels and they will come up! Cost 1400 for all 4 wheels.
High torque has never been the priority, nor the possibility, of any normally aspirated Small block, people. Ford's best small block (up until the voodoo engine) was the Boss 351, produced 380 lb feet from the factory, and you guys are complaining about a 318 making 429 lb feet?! Sheesh. Remember we're talking about a small block engineered for high revving, and still produces 526 hp. Compare that to any other comparable sized, mass produced engine, and you'll be amazed that such a feat was even done. To get even more hp, and torque with just a replacement intake, and e85 is crazy, and that's great! But, we can't compare a normally aspirated small block with a bigger displacement engine, and especially if that engine wears a turbo or supercharger. I remember seeing a comparison between a gt350 and Camaro zl11le. The guys kept talking about the difference in torque and how both cars felt so different. Uh, hello? The Camaro has more displacement AND a supercharger! Of course, you're gonna feel a difference! Netter now to compare Ford's gt500 with the Camaro. Anyway, that's my soapbox, and thanks for those pointers!
Still have both while moving out pandemic cause alot of delay with caution ⚠️ not wanting to rent a uhaul. Which is why I haven't done any car reviews because I don't want to be at a dealership in and out of public places too much.
Around 3:00 “It’s the best drivers car I’ve ever owned or been in”. Now let’s make some changes ;-) All kidding aside we really have a tough time keeping things “as is”. Count the costs=warranty. My ‘19GT350 is great as is. Not willing to through the warranty out the window for a slight gain. If I had a money is no object thing going on, I’d first get some serious track training. After I had the ability to out drive the car I’d begin to make changes. That last statement isn’t very likely at all. This thing is fantastic off the showroom floor.
Good information, but extremely delayed information. What you ended up getting into at nine minutes and 50 seconds could’ve been six minutes prior to that
45hp is a big difference, those gen 3s and and 5.2s voodoos react nice to e85, been watching since you had the redeye was great watching how mad people got when you would win haha you should come out to a strong island stangs event this spring man!
An even easier method would be to just learn how to drive a high revving fpc car like it's meant to be driven...in the higher revs. The gt350 isn't for everyone and people "missing the torque" from the cars you listed probably shouldn't be driving a high revving fpc car in the first place. Take the gt350 to a track and enjoy the linear, predictable torque at higher rpms especially on a tight technical track! Low end torque is really only fun redlight racing or drag racing. Both things the gt350 was never intended for.
Driveway Demons Great Video I'm glad Optimus Lime is making more Bottom end Torque with E85 and I think MotorTube has been doing way better at not racing on Winter Blend E85 it's a new year so let it go and are you still planning on getting a Widebody Charger Hellcat Redeye or Durango Hellcat or 1500 TRX
Great ideas but its opposite of what the car is....its a track car...not a drag car...if i dude wants a dig run buy another car...save the 60k...this is a 2,3,4 gear and back again car on a turning track. Low end torque is bad fot tha application
Thanks Andy. E85 for drag or street. On a road course 93 tune is perfect. High revs also make power so many people look to buy the GT350 with the intent to increase the torque and/or go forced induction this way they can make more power up top. 8400 rpm is insane lol
Add water meth my friend! I did to a 2000 Nissan Maxima and I up the timing.
I just added full synthetic blinker fluid and gained about 50 extra ft lbs of torque.
lol

Hey Rickey! Good idea for sure. Light wheels help as well. I have to do it soon! 😀
What kind of wheels did you put on?

Did u have to change the fuel injectors when u went E85 ?
No you don't
tommrow im going to buy my first dodge ram 1500 single cab can't wait hoppfully i get it if everything goes right
Hell yea buddy! Congrats
@@DrivewayDemons thanks
When are we going to see it supercharged?.

Gut to the meat and potatoes bruh. Brutal.
You would love it boosted
Agreed!
Can the Gt350r run e85 without any engine work? Except the CAI. I’ll definitely install one of those
All you need is a tune you don't even need intake but I highly recommended because you'll get extra airflow. Intake and tune with E85 is the way to go
Hey dude. How come you the GT350 is at the old house vs the new house?. Just an observation when you recording in your garage.

Welcome back man, glad to see you posting again. You should get a super stock 👀
Hey buddy! I appreciate it bro. I hope you're doing well. Superstock is sick!
Super stock is boring compared to a GT350. Super lame
Excellent video
Where you been man?
Hey Tyrone 👋 pandemic has caused alot of problems. I am going to do a video on it.
Okay it good to hear from you again...👍👍👍
E85 may be better but as you say very hard to find here in VA.
Any way to get gt350 to 750 torque without add supercharger
Nope. That is alot. My 6.2 hemi with a 2.9L blower and 23 psi made 800 torque lol
Yeah. Drop a 6.7 ps in it
What do you need to get e85? Do I need to change fuel system or just the tune?
Just a tune and intake
I do not need a new fuel system
Whats up Brother ,Nice to see a upload come up in my alert today
Thanks Frankie 😀
Excellent video dude
Hey Corey, Hope you are doing well. Sure miss your mopar content.
Hey bro I appreciate it. Hope your doing well. I miss the redeye but the gt350 is so much fun!
the flat plane like to yank on itself (hence the counter balancing) lol
lower torque
Indeed brotha 🇺🇸
Easy. Increase the stroke
What RPM’s are you at on the cold start with the 93 PBD tune? Looking for something to compare mine with. Thanks!
Off hand not sure but I will check for you
Lets rock bro.great info
Thanks bro 🙏
Were is this guy is he ok no new videos
I guess I’m wise for being a long time subscriber, and you’re almost at 50K

Thanks for stopping in and watching. I like to be thorough.
How is your MPG after going E85?
Also, have you given any thought to weight reduction wheels?
1-2 mpg less at most
Actually a bit more
no warranty if time on it

Definitely a big difference. I will try for sure

True but many will want it and the torque. Thus the reason for the video
Make a video with some pulls!
