Being a mopar guy I have to say this car is a beast! I'm glad you made this car not for the track but for the back roads and curves like you stated. Great build and inspiring!
Awesome video. Damm for what I just spent on a 2020 2,500 mile GT350 I would offer $100,000 for starters. I wouldn’t buy it though. It’s your build. I’m a big fan of stock with simple mods like long tube headers, X pipe, ignition, fuel pump and tune. Run 85 and 93. I’m basically looking for 600-650 whp. Nothing is more fun in that range. This video was so awesome and well explained.
That is a beautiful Mustang and you put it on the roads in Tennessee in the back roads man that is awesome. I love, cruising through the back roads of Tennessee I’m from Virginia and I’ve been to Tennessee probably 30 times just a ride on the roads that’s awesome and it looks great.
Have you all had any issues or warning from Fathouse about the gen1 motor? Im looking to supercharge my 17 GT350 but keep seeing terrible things about the first gen motor and boost. love the car!
I love it all normally id hate the big wing...but its for a purpose..so its right..i love the color...own a 23 grabber blue..and the grey is my 2nd fav..all and all..amazing
Hey, I was watching the video a second time and realized there is no oil catch can on the passenger side. Your Mustang and Whipple will do better long term reducing the amount of oil that runs thru the intake, not to mention the reduction in octane the oil produces. Awesome car for sure.
I personally think so. I had the wing on and drove it some before the front splitter went on. The power goes down better but the front wasn’t as grippy. Adding the front splitter was a game changer. Still needs more front aero to get balance but I love it.
There’s nothing to hate in those builts, I think they’re all great. I have 2 questions. The long tubes, do they come with cats or you get them separately? And the 409 gears, do you lose top end and I assume will do quicker 1/4 miles times than stock 3:73s. My gt350 it’s all stock but I would like to have a little bite on the exhaust and thinking the long tubes will do that. Awesome build. 👍
@@BackroadDriver yes sir steeda is super amazing, especially their road course stuff. Hear me out. I'll give you my whole setup if you have magneride keep a magneride go with the dual rate Steeda springs on all four corners with the camber plates, G-track brace, sway bars, diff bushings and more
@@BackroadDriver if you have an email I can email over everything that you need. I don't work for steeda. I just really love their parts. If anything breaks you have lifetime guarantee with steeda
I actually came in because I saw your headlights that I’m thinking of getting but when I saw your build 😮. Beautiful pony 🔥. Question are your front headlights clear or smoke lens ?
There's no rubbing on the fronts except at full lock in a parking lot but the offset was changed a tad with the custom wheels. It didn't change much in the front though. Only a few mm. The vibration is not from the drive shaft it is from the transmission itself. It doesn't come with any vibration reduction like the factory tremac does. There just aren't any parts made that isolate it from the vehicle. We're hoping someone develops a package soon.
@BackroadDriver there are many in the GT350 community that are extremely vocal about the vibration created by a one-piece carbon driveshaft, and it is a hotly debated topic. I suppose the transmission is an x-factor in your case, so can't really weigh in on the driveshaft alone. Thanks.
Hey Brad this is Justin and I bought your old 2020 GT500 and still got it love it and it has been an awesome ride, but I wanted to say you did an awesome job on this GT350 it’s insane totally 💯 sick dude!!!! I think you should add the super snake triple gauge pod to it to give it a little more flare on the interior. Because that thing is totally 💯 definitely 💯 a on road race car you got awesome job and awesome video I wanna see it against the reaper hawk and the wolf 🐺 and your vette can’t wait to see some more videos
Has is the 500 treating you? I miss that dual clutch transmission sometimes. That car is so easy to be quick in. We have a lot more in the works with our builds and some vids coming of other peoples builds.
People could do all this themselves, but i think your dgaf enthusiasm is catchy and genuine, so ive decided you should offer this package for existing GT350 owners for ~$85k.
badass car, wish there was more supercharger wine. Bet you would get more money setting it back to stock if you needed to sell it, maybe its worth 75K? I Don't think it can be sold/called a dedicated track car until it has a cage.
It’s pretty violent. @FathousePerformance is working with Stifflers to come up with a vibration deadening support. That would take care of most of it. I will do something long term.
@@BackroadDriver i kept my stock transmission and put a RPS twin disc clutch with a MGW shifter and its quiet. For what you spent on your set up it should be quiet but i get that its a race transmission but how annoying, i'd go insane. but i'm like that.
I like everything about it........just not sure im on board with the wing.......but i like the functionality of it. Id like to see what it can do on the quarter mile and the track as well. Love that u kept the stock seats.......i dont care for the recaros.......they dig into my kidneys
Have you come across any paint blisters/oxidation along the aluminum hood lip. I just noticed a spot about a foot back from the headlight on the drivers side on the top of the hood, pretty small right now. WTF. My 2017 only has 9K miles on it. I was also washing the gutter valleys when you open the trunk. I was cleaning them with a rag and came across these two bumpy patches one on each side near the corners where they turn towards the rear window. Same bumpies as the hood. Like a small patch of panit painted over sand. But no sand of course. WTF.

Awesome car Brad. You need to take it to the new Flatrock race track in Rockwood.
That will 1000% be happening!
What is the wheel offset in the rear to fit those 325s...looks like you nailed the fit. Thank you!!
What t56 and rear end gear ratios would you recommend?
Depends on your use and goals. I would definitely consult Fathouse because they do more of these than anyone on GT350.
Have you all had any issues or warning from Fathouse about the gen1 motor? Im looking to supercharge my 17 GT350 but keep seeing terrible things about the first gen motor and boost.

Does the extra downforce change driving dynamics in the front end?

@@BackroadDriver Thanks for the response. Your build is🗣️🗣️🗣️.
Im gonna have to start my build now. Stock GT350 is nice but why not?
Really great car. I have a 2019 GT350 and I love everything about it. Zero boredom.
Love that car!!! Great action shots. What mount do you use for the 360 when filming at a speed with a 1 in front of it??
The carbon fiber ghost mount. Has 3 mount points.

Do you like avalanche grey better or space white? Thanks
I’m partial to Avalanche but Sam probably likes Space White more. Both are unique but subtle.

Too bad the motor is flawed. Wrong firing order, imbalanced crankshaft, just destined to rattle itself to death. It's still a fun project tho. 👍
