Sorry, I just came back to this video and realized I never came back and gave my feedback that I promised so here it is... So, I have had my Soler throttle body and throttle controller installed for 10 months now and couldn't be happier. The throttle body by itself is a nice upgrade as it provides a much smoother throttle response at slow speed and low RPM driving like around town and traffic lights. But, add the throttle controller to it and watch out. It is amazing what the throttle controller brings to the driving experience. I know it just changes the input, so the throttle opens quicker than stock but OMG what a rush. I've played around with Comfort mode and Sport mode between 1 and 5. Have not even attempted Ludicrous much less Drag Race just because I like staying on the pavement. I tried Artificial Intelligence mode for a bit but wasn't really sure what to expect so went back to Sport. I find I like Sport 5 the best for driving around town and the back country roads. One time last year while trying to select one of the modes I accidently selected Weather mode. I wasn't aware of this at the time and on my way home from shopping I thought it felt a little sluggish responding, so I pushed the pedal further and still didn't feel right. Finally, I hit WOT and it just would not go for shit. I thought I had a transmission problem and when I got home, I was going to just turn of the DLX and see how stock reacted. When I looked at the app on my iPhone, I saw I was in Weather mode. I then selected Sport mode and went for a test drive and holy cow it responded perfectly. Found out I had no problem with the transmission, just a problem with my accidental selection of Weather mode. It seems Weather mode really does not want you to lose traction, so it is almost impossible to get it to "get up and go" in Weather mode...Lesson learned. So, I highly recommend these two products as they work well together. Each works well on their own but together they are fantastic. They don't add any horsepower but when you put them on you'd swear they did. You can feel the difference right away and I haven't stopped grinning since installing them. Except the one time in Weather mode. 😁
@@THEDriverMod_ So, I have been driving around with the Soler Performance Throttle Body (SE9992-91RE) and DLX Throttle Controller (SE0535-TC) for about a month and a half and all I can say is WOW! Definitely worth the cost and I'm glad I bought both together. The Throttle Body itself was quite an upgrade for drivability in my 2012 CTS-V Coupe as it really smoothed out the low and medium range throttle response. Adding the Throttle Controller just made it better. Running the Throttle Controller in Sport 5 was a bit too snappy for me for everyday driving so now I keep it in Comfort 4. Comfort 4 on my car makes it smooth but quick to respond without causing too much loss of traction when starting up from a dead stop. Best money I've spent for bolt-on mods in a while. Keep in mind everything else on my CTS-V is stock. One think to be cautious of with the Throttle Controller iPhone App if you are using the App to control the TC, instead of the control display, is when you swipe up, to close the App you must be careful or you will "select" a different setting when closing the App. How do I know? I accidentally did that without realizing it and went for a drive one morning and everything seemed to be normal until I stepped on the gas and the transmission didn't downshift, just stayed in the higher gear I was in (5th). Even when I floored the pedal, no downshift. I started to panic as I thought my transmission was going out but when I used the paddles on the steering wheel or the manual mode with the shifter, I could downshift fine, just not by pressing the gas pedal. When I stopped at a red light, I opened the App on my phone and that's when I saw I was actually in "WEATHER" mode on my Throttle Controller. 😂I selected Sport 5 and when the light turned green, car came alive! Also, downshifting fine and everything was great again. They don't really explain well in the instructions but because of my mistake learned a cool way to be super safe in bad weather by selecting "WEATHER" mode. There's almost no way to lose traction in that mode...🤣😂
So after you hit the 44mph are you saying put it into neutral and cost to a stop while its idling or leave it in a gear and push the clutch in at the last minute before it dies?
I mean of course don't let it stall but I didn't event follow the relearn to a T, I just did normal driving for the next 100 miles before I did Amy wide open pulls
No worries man, I'll answer any questions you have without any sort of sarcasm. I just want to provide solid info and answers no matter the question. did you use the PROMO code?
Glad to hear you like it! I have a Lund tune on mine and still use the throttle controller but I use sport mode on the throttle controller without a problem
It should be but I'd call soler just to verify just incase! The discount code will work with any of their products so even if you have to get a different throttle body you'll still get the discount
@@THEDriverMod_ They just confirmed to me from "Soler Performance" that it is the same intake body, it works for both mustang mach1, Bullit and Shelby 350. Great! Thanks to you I will know how to install it. Learning the air flow sensor requires driving for approximately 200 miles. at about 44 miles per hour and drop speed and accelerate again? thank you
Question I have a 2015 mustang gt. I put a 350 gt intake manifolds and throttle body. With a tune. Car’s drivable is horrible. Very jumpy …. I was told I need to put on the stock throttle body with an adapter…. If I did that on my own. Would it have to be retuned. What’s your opinion on the drivable without a tune right away. ?Thanks.

Great review! I did verify the throttle body does make more power!
@@THEDriverMod_ Thank you. That's good to know. At least now I know it is not "all in my head"!
Love the channel !! Thank you Anthony for all your time and dedication on bringing out quality content . 🙌
Thank you
Nice little install for better throttle response and air flow.
I would like to get a dyno result without a tune
@@THEDriverMod_ a comparison without a tune and with a tune would be cool.
If I had easy access to a dyno I definitely would but I'm not gonna pay 60, and then another 60.

Solid unit man, get that tune from Lund and that 350 will be screaming. Awesome vid 👍🏻
Working on it! Thanks dude!
That case of amsoil next to the 350 in the garage 😂 I know the drill well but it’s so worth it cars a beast
What drill? Was it even 5w50? I don't recall. But you're definitely right. I've put their products to the absolute test!
Awesome video ANTHONY. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope you have an incredible weekend. Much love and RESPECT brother
Thanks Tim, did the relearn process seem straight forward?

Looking into getting this, a JLT CAI, and a Lund Tune. Have some exhaust mods already. I'm trying to get to 500 rwhp on 93 octane.
I will also be getting a Lund tune, plus 55lb injectors and ported intake and see where we sit.
