@@poligonzo5300 Jordan's best statistical years were during a time period that had almost identical numbers as todays game, average team score and possessions. Kobe played during the slowest era, team score & possessions, in NBA history. Kobe would have averaged 40 ppg in the 80's or today. Let me put things in prospective for you. When MJ averaged 37 ppg, the Lowest scoring team in the league averaged just under 104 ppg. When Kobe averaged 35 ppg, there was only ONE team that averaged more than 102 ppg. MJ is the best I have ever seen and I grew up watching Magic and Larry. If you don't take into consideration the era they played in compared to other eras....Wilt is the best player ever and it's not even close. I love the way Michael took Kobe under his wing, and respected Kobe's game and Kobe's work ethic and their similarities. Because typically, Michael would dig his heels in and view anyone who challenged him as a threat. And Michael would turn his power up to the 11th degree to eradicate the threat (like he did with the Pistons, Knick's, Pacers etc). But I'm glad that Michael saw in Kobe not a threat --- but a younger brother to be tutored and shaped and molded into a second version of himself. And the game was all the better for it. Also get empathy for other people and their suffering. You need to learn all three cause you suck as a human that does not respect other human and their pain. A celebritys life is not more worth than anyone elses life. Especially his young daughter who did not even live her life as long as Kobe did.

Wich means you need to grow up, or learn to discuss things as an adult not as a kid, like you did now with your childish comment against me.

Do not comment on people when you have zero clue what other people comment or is discussing. Especially when your brain and thinking capacity is as low as yours.
You will be blocked if you reply in an immature way. Cause you will only win at your own game, beeing an immature ass and a troll is your expertise , not mine cause i know what respect is. Over the years, as a Jordan die hard fan, I have gained a lot more admiration and respect for Kobe Bryant. Yes, he was flamboyant, sometimes arrogant, but most of the time a true student of the sport, one of the greatest players in the history of basketball, and a passionate competitor. A winner in his own right, a product of talent and great work ethic, a legend made bigger by his contributions on and off the court. He may not be my idol, but he will forever be one of my favorite players. He may not be Michael Jordan, but he has earned and deserved every thing, and he will be forever be a legend of the sport, the one and only Kobe Bryant.

This is what's so irritating when these GOAT conversations are mostly about LBJ and MJ. LBJ needs to get past the conversation with Kobe first. Stats don't mean anything. LBJ has stats over MJ and Kobe, but what separates Kobe and especially MJ is their drive to WIN AT ALL COST. Also, they were franchise players, winning championships without a so-called "super team."

No one is impressed with 53-29. Every team has injuries. LeBron is one of the best but not a killer and always looking for help. Wade and LeBron those years was so weak. That wasn’t like two all stars. It was like two MVPs surrounded by all stars.

5:51 he’s full of respect and love for MJ. He doesn’t put MJ on a pedestal like others do, he treats him like a normal human being, a brother who he can depend on, just a phone call away. MJ respects that Kobe has his own personality and passion towards basketball. They share such a special bond. Just sad they can’t enjoy retirement together… perhaps maybe even golf together

I wouldn't say MJ was lucky, but just like Jordan said his 91 year, he wasn't lying. 91-92 Jordan was better than any bball player ever. Kobe did what we all tried. Be like Mike.
