I love the way this nba veterans tell this stories, there is an air of confidence because they were there, they earned their way to the dance and regardless of the rivalry and the tenacity of their playing days, they look back and rejoice the memories, respect.

Jordan was a psycho when it came to competing. He would be hated if he played now. He's the GOAT.

That’s the one thing people don’t consider a lot in the GOAT debate, is Jordan is like NBA Sun Tzu. He plans psychological war plans against other teams. 13 seasons of terror and mind games.

EJ is such cool dude, he is hilarious, his story on Bird is good too. I met TC once many years ago, he was doing a Suns broadcast; very nice and polite, got his autograph. I miss the old days of the NBA.

When a man is so good he has to look for reasons to motivate himself. I guarantee no one is talking about LeBron like this the year after he retires, much less 5, 10, or 20 years later

It sounds like some of his opposition was just soft and too in awe of him. Bird did what he wanted against Jordan and his team. Magic did his thing. Isiah went crazy on them when healthy averaging 27, 5, and 5 in the conf finals. A lot of that comp from the 90's may have been mentally weak.

@@J-Hue Too soft? LOL In the era MJ played guys were soft? You must be really young. Absolutely ZERO people who know anything about MJs era would ever say that.
Yeah, the Pistons had a ton of talent. Yeah, Isiah was a great player and so was Bird... Jordan is the GOAT of this history of the NBA that did far more with far less on his team than those guys you must mentioned who had far more players with All-Star appearances than MJ ever had

If Lebron held the ball out at a rookie on the bench and said “watch this” he would power bull his way to the basket, travel then lose the ball with no one near him then put his hands up while looking at the ref in disbelief that he didn’t call a foul then look for a team mate to blame before holding his wrist and wincing in pain.

AND THEN HE WOULD BECOME THEE NBA'S ALL TIME LEADING SCORER. AND HEEZ NOT EVEN A SHOOT FIRST
GUY. AND AS FAR AS THE WHINNING & COMPLAINING LEBRON AIN'T GOT NOTHING ON OSCAR ROBERTSON OR MAGIC JOHNSON. IF YOU ARE MY AGE I GOT TO SEE THE "BIG O" PLAY FOR HIS LAST 3 SEASONS AND UM TELLING YOU THAT BROTHER STILL THINKS TO THIS DAY HE NEVER FOULED ANYBODY. AND MAGIC OH MAN EVERY SINGLE TIME MAGIC DROVE DOWN THE LANE FOR THE LAYUP, IF ANYONE CONTESTED HIM
HE HAD THIS HABIT OF CRYIN OUT LIKE SOMEONE JUST CHOP 🪓 PED
HIM IN THE NECK WITH A HATCHET NOW I'VE BN A LAKER FAN SINCE 1974 MAGIC IS MY GUY. BUT HE WENT TO THE FOUL LINE MORE TIMES THAN WE COULD EVER COUNT WHEN NOBODY EVER TOUCHÉD HIM.

@@An0n_ym0u5 First he never played Kobe in the finals the Bulls only played the Lakers twice a year and when they did play Kobe gave Jordan everything he wanted and then some at 19 and 20. Second the only reason the Bulls swept Orlando was because Grant got hurt and played 1 game, Shaq was dealing with nagging injuries plus Penny was still giving David Stern 's cash cow all he wanted. Jordan is the most over hyped player ever , He played against coke heads, drunks, slow ass white boys and stiffs. It took David Stern, Nike and refs for his cry baby ass to win . John Starks would get destroyed if he played now he would be Iman Sheppard if he's lucky so anytime you Jordan lovers want to keep it going we can
