MJ was not KB's teacher. KB was a self-motivator. He may have found inspiration from MJ and maybe even sought his advice. But it was never a teacher-student relationship.

It's really something else to hear MJ talk about passion, cause when he played, no one played harder. You can tell he is really talking from the heart, 100%.

I remember who I was in my teens and 20s. I had no emotion to anything. Now I’m 35 and I watch videos like this and it’s so easy for me to cry.

Damn. Even Michael Jordan couldn't help his voice from hiding the immense sadness and pain he was holding in. I've heard many hurt people talk and MJ definitely sounds like he lost a son or brother.

could you imagine filling the shoes of your idol. then your idol sharing his innermost feelings at your memorial. FATHERS ALWAYS MATTER JUST LIKE MOTHERS

Aubrey, I'm wondering why'd you say the last part "fathers always matter just like mothers"?. I don't intend to say the opposite because I do agree with you in that part. But MJ said Kobe was like a little brother to him. Kobe, said in a talk show that MJ was like a big brother to him. With that being said, again, why'd you say the last part "fathers always matter just like mothers"?. Thank you.

Could you imagine having such an impact on so many randoms? I was just telling a buddy I don't think I've ever seen such a response after a famous person's death than Kobe's. Rightfully so, it's just a huge reality check thinking about maybe my own funeral and having like 40 people there. He lived a great life and did great things. RIP.

Kobe truly was a man who chased after his dreams. He did everything he possible dreamed he could. He was relentless and his hard work showed through his achievements. Hes truly is a legend not only to basketball but as a human in general. I am not even a lakers fan or a Kobe fan, but damn he truly was special.

@@copyrightstrikez_bandit143 Jacksons death had some impact but we saw that coming, we didnt see this coming. In this fashion, i think that is the main reason why there is a huge impact and its lasted longer than Jackson

Man, he tried so hard to tell this story in a way Kobe would love. His thing isn’t speaking like this, so this is amazing honestly. It’s been a few years now but my god. So powerful.
