MJ doesn’t appear in public easily, any interview of his are rare let alone a speech and the only time he would let public cry after his retirement is the his hall of fame speech. So to give a speech and cry while all the camera on him, that tell you how much kobe means to MJ.

I can't even imagine what Michael Jordan felt and how much he cried when he heard the news about Kobe passing away. Even after a month of Kobe's passing, and even after Kobe being buried, Jordan still pouring out tears. The one player who everyone thinks has a huge ego, and is super cocky, he definitely had a very deep special relationship with Kobe and a soft spot for him. This was classy, eloquent, there was so much in his brief speech, than those other long ass speeches everyone else gave. He really broke it down for us as to what Kobe meant to him, and as to what Kobe was as a player. I can see Jordan not wanting to give advice tips to many, but to Kobe, somehow he knew, he knew he was worthy, he knew who to hand the torch over to...to his little brother!

I think about Kobe every single day. I remember people used to hate on him and call him awful names, and for what? All he ever did was play basketball and worked his ass off like no other player besides MJ in the sport. His biggest crime against the fucking haters was that he PLAYED BASKETBALL at an extremely high level. I love you kobe. You will always live forever through us Lakers fans..*
