The timeline is a little off. He did not respond to sitting during the Anthem until Tuesday. He was questioned and didn't answer on Sunday. When he knew he was in trouble his agent contacted a Crisis Marketing Team to put a spin on it. That is what they came up with by Tuesday. A protest. He was on his radio talking to the box about the game and just blew off the Anthem because the game was more important. The campaign took hold because so many people are wanting to be rebellious. Why is the only picture of him sitting coming from the stands so far up?????? Because that guy wouldn't sell.
If Trump is so Patriotic then why DON'T they play the National Anthem at his rallies ...? ... And no one can answer that question ... Hmmm ....Think About It !

Aside from the conflicting movement you gotta give him props for having the guts to stand up and believe in something for so long. Even now when he's been black balled from working, he could've easily made a statement saying how he regrets kneeling especially when he first started getting benched back in 2016 but didn't. Definitely a hero for the little ppl that don't have a voice
Loved Loved his story in his struggles in racism. His parents supported him in sports in became a wonderful person but not his sorrow in his nationality.
Way to go Nike! I support Colin and Nike!!! People have a problem with Colin and Nike, but support Trump??? Wake up people! Trump is ruining this country!!!
What about the economy? And don't go saying that he did nothing for the economy to boost. The unemployment rate among blacks and other colored minorities have dropped ever since Trump is elected. Why is that? Because he wants ALL Americans to succeed, the people of color are just part of ALL. There are racists out there, and they're idiots, but they will never die out, racism is indestructible, and while we can try our best to try and reduce the number of racial bigots, it's a battle we'll never win. So Trump says to hell with it, we need to focus on other things such as jobs and produce functioning factories (well as many as necessary). And he so hates these protests because he feels like they're disrespecting the flag. I can't blame anyone who feels that way. It certainly seems so, but even if it isn't at all the case, which it very well may not be, why do it against the anthem. Why against the flag? Colin said it himself, who won't stand up for a country that oppresses black people. So why doesn't he go after countries such as England or Italy (I'm Italian so it kind of hurts to admit that)? I understand he's upset, and I understand there's still a lot of racism especially towards people of color today, but to blame the country as a whole is so wrong. And during a football game? I don't know if you know this, but I don't watch or go to a football game to see a demonstration or hear about one. I go or see it to see a game of people tackling each other for a ball (as wrong as that sounds). Point is, all these hashtags and trends don't belong in the NFL or any other sport league. Whether it's political or anti-bullying, I don't want to hear it. I watch football to get away from those things, whatever stuff I go through the rest of time, I want to forget it, turn on the TV and enjoy three hour of my life I'm never getting back. So yeah, this country ain't perfect. None of them are. We all suck. But what protesters sometimes do is forget what flaws they have. Anyone who protests in the US is lucky to be here, because they wouldn't get the same response as any other country would give them. And then they bash Trump who disagrees with it? He has freedom of speech too you know! Not everything he says is smart or even something any other person would say, but he has every right. He's not waving a Confederate flag around, he just hates when his country's flag is torn apart, because this country represents him and all the people that he serves for 4-8 years. This is already a long argument, and for a just a few word comment, so I'll just end it with this: there's so much more than anyone could ever think of. Racism will go on forever. You can't fight something you can't beat. We've already lost.
Sacrificed everything? Yeah, right. Most people had never even heard of Kapernick before he began kneeling. Since then, he has been heralded as a Hero by nearly every MSM outlet, been featured on dozens of magazine covers and in countless interviews, and he is collecting more money from Nike & PR than he ever would have made as an ageing, declining, & controversial football player. So my understanding is, Colin Kaepernick, is the "American" football star who started the “take a knee” national anthem protest against police brutality and has been named as the new face of Nike’s “Just Do It” campaign for its 30th anniversary. The logic and rational doesn't make sense, it's actually backwards? In football you were taught to take a knee when a player was injured to honor them and in hopes that they will be ok from their serious injury. He is protesting with a gesture used in football "to honor and respect" someone who is injured? That seems to be a gesture in honor of police brutality a revearse of protesting? He is bieng a disrespectful American to the National Anthem where poeple are asked to stand for the National Anthem to "honor" America and our brave solders who sacrifice their lives for the freedoms we all enjoy, including him. Like the National Anthem says, " the land of the free and the home of the brave." The National Anthem represents America a United poeple that fought for thier independence and earned our freedoms. His actions disrespects that meaning and only looks to divide poeple. If that's the kind of poeple and character Nike wants for their face, I will not buy any of their shoes anymore, just like I don't watch football anymore. It seems the man is honoring police brutality and a disrespectfull American to our solders sacrifices that got the freedoms for our country. He is a divider not a uniter. We are supposed to be one Nation under God! And God says: Isaiah 5:20 20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Colin Kaepernick is reversing what was meant for honor as protest! Some Poeple look at him as good when what he is doing is bad. Look at what our society has become, pretty much fits these paragraphs below. Romans 1 :28-32 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
God has answered the whole world's prayer about Colin. Colin will always rise above hate. Thanks God his face is surfacing the entire world. God bless Nike and Colin forever. My love for Nike has doubled more than before. Nike just shows the world that only love can win over Hate. We Human being are the face of this blessing love. Always believe in God and will have the last joy in return.
What he means by sacrificing everything is than Colin spent all of his childhood practicing to be a professional football player and when he is finally a professional football player he sacrificed his job to do what he knows is right. Not his money income, c'mon at least be a little reasonable, plus he already has millions so it wouldn't matter.
Kaeperkick wasn't an activist through all of college, and his starting days, at SF. He got benched, and sitting there, he got pouty. Mix that with his Muslim gf, and his new found "hate for America was born" He wouldnt get off his bench, he couldn't be bothered. The kneeling wasnt his idea.. he wanted to stay seated. Look it up. Dude isn't even black.
Youre English I assume? America is the most patriotic country in the world statistically. We have a lot of pride. Its good for business. The flag symbolizes our pride. We feel lucky to have been born in a place of abundance that we love. It also represents sacrifice
@@zacshifler a huge number of people in your country is stupid and behind time because flag is what they are focusing on instead of focusing on themselves. He will be remembered as an egotistical, petulant child who didn't get his toy. Also, he should be charged with treason and kicked out of the Greatest Country on this planet. I won't say his name because he doesn't deserve a name but the racist attitude he has about the USA and humanity is disgusting. I am a Canadian and we all think the guy is ridiculous and all the money he's made be taken away and given to charity if he thinks he has it so bad. Send the dolt to a 3rd world country so he can learn RESPECT! IDIOT!
Why would he be? A military veteran was the one who contacted Kap and suggest that he should take a knee because it is to show respect to the the service member.
Your timeline is wrong, Kaepernick sat the first preseason game, and then sat again the second preseason game it was the third preseason game that a reporter noticed Kaepernick that Kaepernick wasn't standing and asked Kaepernick after the game why and Kaepernick explained why, he initially sat between the coolers not to distract and it was the reporter's question of why he was sitting which prompted Kaepernick to explain his deeper meaning of why. Now the kneeling the kneeling was a compromise instead of sitting, an Army vet/Green Beret Nate Boyer had a discussion with Kaepernick and a decision was made to kneel as to peacefully protest and still have it done in a respectful way.

You guys are arguing stupidity. It should never be okay for a billionaire to blackball his employees for their political views. They could have just implemented a mandatory stand rule like the Nba. Instead they politicized this too much and made it a thing to make an example out of that Kaepernick kid. I haven’t watched football for years because of it. I won’t watch or click on anything nfl because it feels disgusting to support these people financially. My kids aren’t allowed to like football. The nfl is disgusting.

The flag stands for so much more than the Military. Wish people could grasp that.
Way to go Nike! I support Colin and Nike!!! People have a problem with Colin and Nike, but support Trump??? Wake up people! Trump is ruining this country!!!
Kevin Sperling trump is ruining this country? Have you seen what he’s done in the past 2 years
kirill massey absolutely nothing. He’s just sat on his ass and tweeted every minute.
He actually done stuff lmao
If you can do better why are you not president, wtf did obama do, hmmmm well not a damn thing

Colin is a narcissist ego filled talentless dbag.
The scariest thing is doing something that society declares taboo and he did so fighting for justice I am more than jealous of his power so much respect
Like the National Anthem says, " the land of the free and the home of the brave."
The National Anthem represents America a United poeple that fought for thier independence and earned our freedoms.
And God says:
Isaiah 5:20
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Colin Kaepernick is reversing what was meant for honor as protest! Some Poeple look at him as good when what he is doing is bad.
Look at what our society has become, pretty much fits these paragraphs below.
Romans 1 :28-32
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

I always thought Nike were a little pricey but now they look like they're worth buying.
Look it up.
And the Seahawks invited Kaepernick but didn't work him out it was only an interview with him.
