0:33 No no no, when you have IBD you definitely notice it. When you have IBS, then you might just think "mhh I feel a bit weird but I probably just ate sth wrong." I have both, and when my IBS shows, I take domperidone and am fine. If my IBD flares up, I have to take days off from work and can barely get out of bed, and when I do, it's because I have volcanic eruptions coming from my bottom.
True I have been diagnosed with IBD recently and it’s a flare up phase. I haven’t worked in 2 weeks cause I feel dizzy whenever I get out of bed. And the pain during bowel movement is unbearable 😢
I was also so confused when he said you can be sick without noticing and the other way around. When I feel sick in my ulcerative colitis I am. There is blood etc. If I feel good there is usually no inflammation at all. When I have had some of my worst flare ups I have had to call in sick to work.
If you compile all these 'news' recommendations for diet over the years, you notice how is inching ever so slowly from a WFPB diet nearer a ketogenic one. This is just the latest example, but there is such a large hill to climb since the opposite was being recommended for decades. Reality and results being on your side helps, however. This is just one step away from a FODMAP diet, which is on the doorsteps of a keto elimination diet.
I feel you…”fortunately” my UC is not that bad and now I have found a medication that seems to really work for me. Had a phase a while ago where I felt worse and thought the medication didn’t work after all, but the bleeding stoped after a few weeks or so.
This is a great example why you'll always be dependent on the medical system. These tools keep pushing their first line approach when permanent remission is achievable.
@@jorgewhite439 You drank the cool aid. You'll be sick for the rest of your life whilst I'm enjoying a med free life for 4 years now. I'll give you a hint, take it or leave it. There's a difference between autoimmune disease and gut modulated disease.
Currently pregnant with colitis, fibroids and gallstones!!! 😢
How are you doing now? Will pray. ❤🙏🏾

Please search for the carnivore diet. It helped a lot of people with this disease.

They should ask how much of a financial kickback do doctors get for prescribing expensive medication
I was prescribed 3 generics with no insurance, less than $30 total.
I was going to make a joke and say “this segment sponsored by Phizer”, but it’s literally there at the end lol

What medicine have you take ?
The terms “healthy” and “ balanced” are not scientific.

No it's not. It's autoimmune
Cured myself 7 years ago. Keep believing in what you're fed, you'll enventually lose your colon. Good job.@@jorgewhite439
