I was completely desperate, did not leave the house for fear of not getting to a loo in time and had dropped a lot of weight and was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. Kenny honestly changed my life. I was also told that my bowel might need to be removed and that there was no cure and to keep taking the meds. Which by the way can mess with your liver. Also the meds were not working and after many months on steroids I had enough. Found Kenny by chance but decided to give it a go. Now I will admit I could not get raw milk so used organic milk to make my own kefir. Really easy to do and a lot cheaper than buying from a store. Also did use bottled water and not osmosis but it stilled worked as I did everything else and had lots of sauerkraut. It took a month for me to start to show signs of working and I gave been in remission for three years and no meds. If I fall off the wagon eventually my body starts fighting back so I now make this my life style choice.

I appreciate that, man 👊 Full disclosure, I actually launched a program two months ago that I do have for sale. However, it's essentially just all of the information I have on my channel that is condensed into a lecture format and has a sample meal plan. The goal is for all the information that's been helpful for me to be available for free on the channel, and the course to just be "extra" or a convenience type thing. Anyways, I do have stuff for sale, but my primary goal is just to share what's been helpful for me and to have that available to everyone for free. Wishing you the best and thanks for the comment!

We have to understand that the pharmaceutical companies don't want us healed, they just helps us alleviate the symptoms but never cure. Because if we were cured they would have no people to sell their products. I know doctors are not to be blamed, they just do and say what they were trained to do. Just like teachers teaching the propaganda and lies they were trained to teach. They don't know any better. It's the same way with Doctors.

So, about five months ago I was hospitalized with Crohn's disease that had gotten so bad that I wanted to die! Long story short, I started doing a lot of research on how I might control my flare-ups and possibly help my digestive system to heal. I found this video and decided to give this diet a shot. At this point I felt like I had nothing to lose. After about a month my flare-ups went away. Today I feel better and have more energy than I have had in many years!!! This diet absolutely works if you include exercise and intermittent fasting. I also avoid foods such as raw vegetables, sugary foods, alcohol, oils of every kind (no fried food) and also avoid spicy foods. I also try to include foods that are high in fiber because you want everything to pass very quickly so that along with fasting, your digestive system has time to heal and recover. I just want to say THANK YOU for this video and making my life 1,000% better!!!!!!

Plant based is the right term for a diet of plant foods. Personally I don’t see the benefit of animal products when it comes to diet. Especially for UC. All nutrients needed come from plant forms so I see it better to get it from the direct source rather than filtered through an animals body, that’s what I’m doing anyway, works for me xx

I just wanted to point out for anyone trying to restore their gut, please also look into small intestinal bacteria overgrowth (SIBO). Fermented food will make this condition worse and make your UC or crohns symptoms worse. SIBO is very common in UC and crohns and in most cases will need to be resolved prior to trying to restore gut microbe.
Thank you Kenny for being a positive advocate for people living with UC and crohns.

You got the right habit of direction. When you fall off just remember the road to get back and you’ll be fine. The body is a highly complex machine we get out what we put in And the mind is the control board, hard drive and memory ram that makes it all happen.

    Okay, so the solution is:
    1) make sure you don't need to work for a living
    2) eat 2 incredibly miserable meals a day, most of it hard to source and exclusively home-cooked
    3) never eat out, never consume alcohol, or generally live life how normal people get to live
+1) all the while the guy living on frozen pizzas his whole life grew to 6'4, is knee-deep in top V and lives how he wants and is 100% healthy.

Great videos. It's encouraging. I wouldn't say staying healed is easy. When I was diagnosed with UC 5 years ago, the docs threw all their meds at it but prednisone was the only thing keeping me stable. I decided to use the Whole30 Auto immune protocol diet and was off all meds for 3 months but life got overwhelming and the combination of stress and not holding to my diet very well caused a flare. I had healed a bit because now Apriso could hold me stable. I've been on that since, eating whatever I want but I've been get flares more often lately and I need to start eating well again. Your videos have helped motivate me to do that. Thank you!

Kenny Honnas that’s so lovely, thank you Kenny, I just like how realistic you are with your approach to healing. This is what people want. To know that “normal” is possible. I know as I have UC, and know how challenging it can be. The fact that you’ve made it and healed will help so many people. You’re a good guy and good karma will follow you! Unfortunately I have histamine intolerance so fermented food just messes me up, I’m trying to fix that, then I’ll most probably try your method again. 🍀🍀🍀🍀 keep doing what you’re doing.

    THIS IS WHY THIS WORKS:
A big part of why this is effective is most of the foods he's consuming contain L-Glutamine.
I optimized my diet around foods that contain Glutamine. I also supplement with 20 Grams per day. It's been a MIRACLE in my inflammation.
I was in the worst flare of my life and from day one of starting Glutamine, I started feeling better. I was in remission in days. Yes you need to incorporate healthy diet and exercise also. Do a food journal find out what foods are good for you and not good. Consume fermented food and prebiotic. You can heal without meds!!
    TRY L GLUTAMINE!!! It's a game changer I promise!!

Do anyone still doubt natural herbs? I've seen the great importance of natural herbs and the wonderful work they have done in people's lives. I wonder why people still spend their money on surgery, injections and drugs each time they are sick. Natural herbs can cure all kinds of illness including herpes, diabetics, asthma, Cancer, hepatitis, etc. I've seen it with my own eyes. I was cured of ulcerative colitis and my Sister and her Husband were cured of herpes by dr Osemuahu who uses natural herbs to cure different kind of illness. Even Dr. Osemuahu proved to the whole world that natural herbs can cure all diseases and he cured countless of people using natural herbs. I know is hard to believe but am a living testimony. Hi Kenny, I’m currently being hospitalised following a bad flare up, and finally got my correct diagnosis: I got IBD, specifically UC. I’m glad there’s people like you out there sharing essential pieces of information that are literally saving me psychologically right now. I can’t wait to stop taking steroids and find a way to heal. It’s also very hard for me because I find food to be one of the few things that truly make me happy. Not being able to eat what I want hurts. I love baking cakes, I love curry and pizza. Food is truly my passion. Do you have to follow your diet forever to stop having flare ups and be considered fully healed or are you now completely free to eat whatever you want whenever you want it?

@@nickgregoris I do often wonder about that research myself regarding meat and other animal proteins. I'm curious as to whether or not the sourcing and preparation of the meats and animal proteins impact whether they are inflammatory or not? I think even non-pasteurized milk is unhealthy (non-human milk, for humans, for adult humans). Clean fermentation is what, curiously enough, makes it healthy (although some unhealthy parts are still even in cow milk kefir, I think). And to avoid that part - we just want to eat vegan fermented foods (including kefir made out of vegan milk (well, I don't know if from commercial, but from scratch I think vegan kefir is absolutely a thing, actually I think I remember seeing a video or an article on this))
But yes, absolutely, *the quality* of food is the most important thing (no surprise these kind of illnesses are on the rise - our food becomes less and less unhealthy (I could give a hint "why?", but very few will appreciate this).
Plus water is filled chemicals that kill the bad ( *and good* bacteria ). Again, for the same reason - "it's expensive" to provide for population healthy water.😄
