My best friend has Crohn's and he doesn't take the best care of himself. I'm researching as much as I can, as fast as I can, to help out.

Ask him why he doesn't love himself enough to eat healthy foods, sleep enough, exercise enough or balance his lifestyle. It is way more than diet. Buy him a copy of The Maker's Diet and read it together. ❤

@@kathleenkayk I don't need to ask him that. He's in AA and therapy after years of trauma, like it's an easy answer.

I recently had a moderate flare up of my UC. The few week’s before I overindulged in sweets like brownies, cookies, ice cream. After my flare up I almost completely eliminated sugar from my diet and within a week I felt almost 100% and my flare up was gone. Sugar is the enemy.

Do you take medication? My son just diagnosed ulcerative colitis & his autistic. Can diet change avoid medication treatment?

Give him probiotics and prebiotics, and zeolit. You can buy kefir starter, and you can make your own kefir with goat milk that is not pasterized. Get rid of sugar and let him eat only grass fed meat and wild fish and eggs of free run chicken, and whit time it will be better. Dont eat fruits and vegtebles treating whit pesticide, buy wild blueberry and other wild fruits, and make tea whit plants that are good for colon. Lot of time spend outdoor on the sun, and let him have exercise.

Diet change will be necessary either way. Right off the bat eliminate gluten and animal milk, reduce sugar as much as you can. Wish your son the best.

Nooo. Don't eat several meals a day. Not good to have blood sugar spikes consistently. Don't eat canned syrupy fruits. Don't eat high sugar fruit. Also, there is no one size fit all. I have ulcerative colitis, and eating salads and vegetables work best for me.

Eating several meals a day is recommended for some people, just do what eorks for you

Have to disagree here, you say there is no one size fits all and I agree with that because I’m only able to eat several meals rather than just 3 because I can’t eat much at once

It doesn't spike as much if you include fiber. It can be the soluble, ibd friendly kind. Ask me how i know, i went to a dietitian specialized in ibd and athletic diet

Please do not spread misinformation....I have Crohn's and I fell for such videos initially...Have some moral responsibility towards your viewers. Please link the research papers for all your claims.

Yeahhhhh I have UC and every bit of advice she gives, is what I’ve found to be the best during a flair up. In fact, the advice she gives is on the same basis as what the Colitis and Crohn’s foundation advises. It seems to work for a large majority of people, myself included.
So, I’m genuinely curious as to why you would label this as “misinformation “ Lol.
Ah! While you’re at it, you should probably abide by that whole “moral responsibility” and publish some proven research papers to go along with your shitty attitude.
