I wish they taught us these things early in life! How much money and time would be saved. As well as feeling good about what you wear. Thank you for these videos! I have learned so much and am making notes on paper and in my head about my wardrobe.😊
This is CRAZY AMAZING. I have lived in continental Europe and I am from southern Europe and that means that maybe my side of the continent is a little more 'ethnic' (for lack of a better word) with curly dark hair and big earrings (so not necessarily 'preppy' or northeast coast USA). I like what I see in this video because I think I can add a little of my heritage to what Mme Lecoeur is demonstrating so that I can celebrate authenticity and origin with a lovely chic simplicity. Having said all that - the energy here - as much as the outfits that are fabulous - is inspirational to me. Before watching these videos (which I do every few months just to kick my imagination into 'start') I was lazy and complacent. If you want to open your horizons, get off your butt and really try to see things differently in your clothing, mood, style, self-perception, and... life then take this positive self-work exhibited here with you. Thank you again AM!
I have just started following you, Marie, and I have learned so much about putting things together that look classically beautiful. Living in Tucson, Arizona, it is a challenge to keep cool in the summer so linen is our go-to choice. I also appreciate that your clothes emphasize quality. Merci beaucoup so much for sharing your expertise.
Love the pop of red ballet flats and the snake print heels. Thanks for showing the different looks and comparing them. I need a shorter navy blazer now. Love and Kindness, Teresa
Marie-Anne, thank you for teaching us to really think about what we buy and how it is important that our pieces all work together. You gave me so many fantastic ideas and made it easier for me because you modeled so many different looks. Merci. ❤️❤️
Me too! Marie-Anne has truly inspired me. I love sophisticated, yet casual. Elegant and edgy. Just depends. But I always want those looks to be flattering. 🥰
Good morning Madame. I enjoyed seeing the versatility of the 2 new tops you added to your wardrobe, along with the changes in shoes and how that made the new pieces look even more different. Thank you so much for the video.
I know this video came out a while ago but love the ease with which you put items together! I went to my closet, rearranged items by color and found so many combinations! Amazing what I had to work with even though I have a very minimal number of pieces. I realized that I could tastefully combine items that I never thought would match. Fortunately I am drawn to navy, white, and black so I had lots of core pieces that mix and match. Thank you so much.
I love your energy Marie-Anne! The comment about an outfit for rock climbing made me laugh! Seriously, I love this format of video. It's right up there with your "on location" outdoor videos which I love. This format is so helpful for us to assemble outfits. The comment that stood out for me was to overthink what you buy. I really like that, because I've often brought in random pieces to my wardrobe that are difficult to match up. Also, I've learned over time that it takes a good eye and practice to assemble a nice outfit. You've shown us the process. Thank you!
Hi Marie Anne, Thank you for showing the trainers with a skirt since I wear mine that way and they are quite cute with the right outfit! You made my day! Have a wonderful weekend!
That was the first video which I have seen of you. You have opened my eyes for a capsual wardrobe. Of course I have know before, everything should be match together but I have never tried it. After watching your clip I cleared my wardrobe and tried on everything. Matching trousers, shoes, shirts, sweaters, belts, it took me four hours..... Now I am happy to know (with 40+) what to wear in a classy, timeless way. Navy rules :) Thank you very much Marie-Anne!!
I love the simplicity! I am getting ready to go on a road trip in a recreation vehicle to a convention and visiting some churches asking the way. Love - Love - Love the SIMPLICITY. I am on the short end of the spectrum and find these so refreshing. Thank you so much!
Marie-Anne i also love the dark navy sweater.. Those snake print shoes can go with so much and so do the loafers. Very nice. Tres chic. Bev xx Thankyou.
Beautiful work! I love how you speak, so confident and candid. Loving these tips and tricks you're teaching us! For other content creators in this thread: we need a Korean fashion channel like this!
Thank you for introducing me to the Armour Lux website. I love the military sweater in particular. I LOVE the red ballet shoes and red Mary Janes, but I don't care for the snakeprint heels with the blue and white stripes. For me, it doesn't work. But, that is probably just my crazy need to match everything. You look great in everything, Marie-Anne! xx

Bonjour Marie-Anne, What an entertaining and great teaching video. My favorite was all the times you used the trench coat. The word that I heard distinctly throughout was "smart". Thank you for this. Even though I live in a very, hot climate from May to October, I have been able to dress comfortably and smart while being casual. You remain a real person and it comes through in your message. “YES... WEAR NAVY NAVY.... PFFFFFT!” Lol! Beautiful, classic outfits! I’m with you about the skirt with the flat sneakers. Not great. The flat ballets much better.
I love watching and listening to you explain your clothes. It makes me miss my step mother so much. But reminds me of such a wonderful lady. She lives in Spain now and has a house in France also. Both beautiful places. And beautiful people. I miss Europe. I never did learn how to dess as stylish as her. The striped shirt especially reminds me of her. Unfortunately I have a 36 inch inseam so I can never find such nice jeans as you are showing here. I do have one of her rain jackets she gave me last time I visited her about 5-6 years ago. I treasure it. I'm hoping I can find a s shirt like that for me. Thank you so much for all of the information you share in your videos!
Love your style ideas and bubbly personality. A pleasure to listen to, especially as your command of English is perfect. I now have to find a red pair of ballet shoes!!
Marie-Anne, do you have a video showing what can make an outfit look frumpy? Comparing an elegant look with a frumpy look in similar clothes? Love your videos
Hello Marie-Anne!! I just stumbled upon your channel and I’m soo glad I did!! I love all the outfits you put together. All the twists and turns with a couple of pieces!! Amazing!! You are Simply stunning!! My favourite is your trench coat and the short jacket. Oh also your snake skin shoes!! You are one classy lady. Thank you for all your advice and opinions!!
This was so fun and helpful! Being retired in the suburbs of the Midwest USA, my wardrobe needs match this try-on…. 80/20 casual/smart. I donated all of my pumps when I retired, but now I’m pondering if adding one or two is all I need to upgrade my favorites to a going-out look. Hmmm, I will think long and hard about this lol
I’m watching again and love the leather jacket and long jacket. I may even try the longer jacket and jeans as I’ve got a couple of striped tops somewhere in my wardrobe. I tried a good quality striped jumper and wished I’d got it now as I suited it. I can see all your quality clothes and know what you mean. I have some good clothes but some crap when I compare to yours so I will think before I buy from now on.

7:40 I love the snakeskin shoes when you are wearing the first navy jacket that you tried on. That to me is a stunning look. Before that with just the sweater, those shoes made the outfit look nice however a little unfinished but I didn't know why. 😊
I love it when you go, "Wooo, (Oh la la), so cute when pointing out a discreet sexy feature in a clothing item. I would prefer my jackets to go below the sweater, no sweater or top peaking out from below the hemline of the jacket. Everything is so smart.
