I used to play the windows version. I still like a lot of the songs better than the snes version. Especially the opening, the credits, gravity beetle and a few others.
Funnily enough, you could have even included the PS2 and GC version of Mega Man X Collection, because the PS2 port sounds more like Saturn and the GC port sounds more like PS1. The GC version of Mega Man X collection is more accurate overall, at least in the sound department.
Megaman x3 já joguei no meu ps1 abertura era estilo anime eu rejogue no PS2 megaman x colecion PS2 do megaman x3 no mega drive meu primo alugava na locadora nois jogávamos no mega drive dele do megaman x3 snes eu joguei no emulador de snes de Pc as músicas do ps1 do snes sega Genesis da uma nostalgia
- Great comparison video! - Can’t wait for a comparison of Mega Man & Bass (SNES & GBA), Mega Man 1, 2 & 3 (NES & Genesis) & Mega Man World 1-5 (GB & GBC). - My favorite version of Mega Man X3 is SNES.
An interesting thing about the Genesis version-it's rendering in the 320x224 10:7 mode, and so it has to mask the extra pixels so it's 256 in width, like the SNES, which is 256x224 when it's not in H512 mode.
Wow that Genesis bootleg version looks terrible, kinda glad i never played it as it would ruined how felt about X3 lol. I have never played the PC Version yet but I own the SNES and Saturn versions and have played the PS awhile back. Id have to say i love the additional FMVs they added for the Saturn/PS versions but i would probably still pick Snes or PS due to controls. The controller is just so much better and feel better to play.
Personally I don't think this soundtrack is as strong as X2 or X1. Too much heavy metal with a sound chip that doesn't sound as good as the other games. Still played the heck of it tho.

I have a request: Comparison of all versions of Donkey Kong Country 1 (SNES, GBC and GBA), 2 and 3 (both on SNES and GBA), plus the Donkey Kong Land trilogy (GB and GBC, only official one is the Japanese-exclusive DKL III on the Color though).
the ps1/saturn arranged soundtracks are awesome. Acting as both a transition from X3-X4 and the rest of the soundtrack style of the later games, AND, using a far higher level of composition that must have been intended if they had leas limitation back then. There’s definitely some inspiration from the fusion the japanese were so heavily inspired by with X’s theme of X3, what with their use of swing notes. and with Zero’s theme, you can hear everything comes off so smoothly due to having less limitation on composition. Definitely the best of the versions.
Just for people who are unaware: The Mega Drive version is a bootleg.
That plays Bloody Awful!
Naturally. It's so bad!!
Mega drive are terrible what a surprise D:
What ist bootleg
@@peterali2059 Something that is stolen.
SNES is the best than the rest of version. The sound, music, graphic, everything is so smoothly even they have hack to playable Zero.
Nothing beats the intro from the SNES version!
I grew up with the Windows version, but I love the SNES version more.
We're doing games from the year I was born.
I feel ancient.
I'm 34. It don't get better.
The game was ported to Windows twice. The Legacy Collection version is the same as the SNES version.
PS1 and SNES.
there were also have Japanese made Java ports of Mega Man X3 to Nokia and other Java-based phones, but it's impossible to find now

Huh, seems like the Saturn version has some sound effect errors. I appreciate the charging sound being more muted than the PS1 ver tho.
What's that intro song? It sounds familiar, but I can't place it.
역시 16비트 브금이 제일 낫다
I really wish they released the Megadrive version instead of releasing it on SEGA Saturn 😭
Hey! Saturn version is close to the best!
The transistion from animation to gameplay in the PS1 version is just 😙👌
Honestly for a bootleg the genesis port doesn't really play that bad
Atualmente tem hack pra deixar a versão do SNES com audio de CD igual ao psone, saturn e pc👍
Which was the first , original game version ?
SNES
Love the PS1/Saturn video sequences, but the soundtrack is a blasphemy.
The only track that was an improvement is the boss theme.
Blizzard Buffalo and Crush Crawfish theme arrangements: I simply don't exist...
He can not run faster and he can not shoot up 😂 but they show in the intro 😢
SNES set the standard. The cutscenes added to the PS1 and Saturn versions aren't bad, but they can't beat the original.
SNES HANDS DOWN
I can't believe how terrible the PSX OST is. It's like the arranger didn't understand what the game is about.
the best sons snes
ps1 audio is terrible omg
mega drive bootleg is pretty nice
SNES Version so Cool! Even Circus Baby (from FNaF 5) is Happy and wants to hug me!
What the fuck...
@@mortenera2294 I second this.
Least unhinged sl@v
The OP is autistic. I'm not even saying that as a pejorative. Shit like that is a hallmark sign.
What an awful game.
Nothing beats the original SNES version...
❤❤ the best comsole sfc
The psx first level song always gives me more Christmas vibes, rather than the all-out war, on the snes version.
Yeah, it's completely butchered.
I don't know, but I prefer the SNES version of the OST rather than the PS1 version. PS1 sounds too poppy for me.

I'll add Mega Man Legends 1 (PSOne, N64 and PSP) and 2 (PSOne and PSP).
Excelente vídeo colega. Buenas comparaciones de Mega Man X3. Conseguirlo en Super Nintendo, es raro y caro de conseguir. Saludos.
I might be one of the few who thinks the SNES soundtrack is better than the Saturn/PSX
you are the 99%
In all of the non-SNES versions, charging your weapon gives me the impression of a vacuum cleaner.
Music for this game feels like a prototype most times.
I know I like some of them, but I would change most of the ost if I could.
I never knew about the windows version before
It's based on the PS1 version, you can find it on internet, but mostly with 2 tracks in the whole game or without music at all.

The mega drive one is obviously the best and most well made 😂
I like the Sega version. It feels like it's trolling the player, like you ordered butter but you got expired margarine.
La japonesa y americana de super nintendo es lo mejor de lo mejor
the saturn goes in slow motion
The PC windows version is the best and the one i've played the most.

Para cuando uno de versiónes del primer Megaman clásico qué tiene muchas versiones
Pues sí, tendría que hacerla... A ver si este verano cae
Played both the snes and ps1 versions prefer the ps1 myself
Sfc the best 🎉❤
Charging sound for the PS1 version is terrible, Saturn has the same one but at least it's more quiet
I would rather the title in the version of America (Mega Man than Rockman).
Yo can you do LIFE FORCE/SALAMANDER versions comparison next
