- In this video, I take the cowl to my friend Rick's shop. He is the kind of guy that if there is a tool, he has it, or the means to make it, Rick was kind enough to offer to fix the sheet metal on the cowl.
We are building a very unique and personal Huckster body. I am very excited to share with you some very unique things that will be done for it so be sure to subscribe and follow us as we do this pickup style woody vehicle fr4om left over parts that I kept after parting out my 1930 Ford Model A Town Sedan! - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Having access to sheet metal bending and cutting equipment is such a privilege!
Tell me about it!
My goodness Ken, you are effecting this restoration as Henry Ford wanted it. A very good job from the ground up. I enjoyed it.
It has been a real eye opener as to what needed to be done however, it will be done right! Very excited to get working on the wood body real soon.
Nice work!
Thanks for the visit and for your comment!
I'd give a farm in Georgia to have that equipment and the knowledge to use it.
Me too! I talked to Rick and asked him if he would be willing to do a tour of his shop. He just moved here during Covid, and his shop is nothing short of amazing. The video does not do it justice. From a machine shop, to a paint booth, it's all there.
Awesome!!!
Thanks!!
Just imagine if someone still had the original stamping dies! Too bad, eh?
I can only imagine!
