Great video Steve. I watched a recent video where a guy was driving around Key West and it was deserted! Kinda like how it looked an hour or 2 before the hurricane hit, or the videos that you made around that time. At least you don't need to worry about anybody being in your favorite fishing spots! Thanks for the reminder on doing foil pack fish in the grill. I need to do that again.
Loved the mangrove snappers that Jeff and I caught 2 years ago when we were there in the Keys! We ate them several different ways and this is high quality fish!!

My first experience in Florida was at Pulaski Light near the Dry Tortuga's.
With Cuban Reels(hand-lines) from the back deck of a 73' shrimp boat at anchor.
We dragged at night and slept during the day.
Using the by catch from the night before we pulled in about a thousand pounds of bottom fish.
Monster Muttons, mangroves, hog's, lane's and yellowtails.
Not to mention some 30 -50 pound groupers.
That was in 1979 when the waters were teeming with fish and shrimp.
What a chore just gutting and icing them up was.
Lol throws it in. 2 seconds later snatch! Keeps talking like it ain’t no thang. 😂 up in Jersey, we get excited when we finally get a bite.

I can't wait till boynton beach pier opens again. Hopefully the fishing is really good since nobody's been fishing there for a month. I've fought monster mangroves there. But also seen some fuckers there around 3-4am there with coolers full of mangroves witch pisses me off so much that they over fish them
