  • Had to add spacers between the dually tires as the new Maxxis TRXUS side treads were rubbing against each other. Highly recommend Bora spacers. Lifetime warranty, easy to install. Here are the tires used with spacers

    Sooo I’ve noticed nobody has mentioned to make sure when buying spacers, to make sure your factory lug nuts has the same tread pattern as the spacers. I learned the hard way.

    How many inches of lift does the truck have? Thanks

    Would have like to see the a pic of the rig. And im curious what width of rim you have those mounted on. I have an opportunity to get some military 37 at a good price. But not sure if my stock wheels are wide enough. My rig is a 94 k3500 flat bed. Looking at trimming the front fenders and only adding the minimum lift required to clear the 37s. Thanks for the video, good info good explaining.

      I have military 37s, but switched them out for Maxxis TRXUS since the military tires are horrible in the snow. Still could use a little more weight in the back

      @hankimus10 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Vermont Prepper right on...I have 37 military’s on my 350 crew cab single wheel...I love em...I picked up a 350 dually I want to convert to 4wd and use the 37s. But I will pull a 5th wheel across country once a year, not sure if that weight and tire combo be ok with my family inside...

    Man i built a lot of cars and trucks, but there is no way i would put a spacer over another spacer, that spells trouble to me, and if they pass that at the inspection station i would be surprise

    • @VermontPrepper
      @VermontPrepper  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have had zero issues. It won't pass inspection without them since the tires touch

    • @VermontPrepper

      The inner tire position did not move, so I have room. The spacers increase the space between first and second tire.

    Simple physics. Extending the wheels further away from the axle puts more stress on the studs, hubs, bearings.
