My Mother taught mentally challenged children 42 years. I didn’t understand as a child why she worked all day and sometimes she would bring the children home on weekends. IWe was always taught that everyone was different, special in their own way. It was like we didn’t notice the difference in others. I thank my mother she gave us a joy no one could ever take from us. I never knew about Loretta Clairborne. I cried during the entire movie. Thank you Loretta for your strength and courage. Thanks to your mum for all that she believed that you were capable of doing. You inspired me today. Thank you.
sometimes disabilities are severe and they cannot be overcome or worked around, also most people do not have the support and opportunities Loretta was blessed to have.
Thank you Disney for making this movie, I was in tears the whole time. I had a special needs child for 24 years so the pain and struggles were real for merry. God bless all those who played a part in her development.
It’s crazy how they made it seem like she was fighting on purpose when she was just defending herself ugh. Y’all don’t know what she been through smh. 🙄
This happens a lot. When the victim of bullying finally decides to fight back and defend themselves, they are labelled as the aggressor, attacker and bad person. Many times they end up getting expelled or unfairly disciplined, yet the bully gets away with it and continues bullying them and other people.
Watching this movie reminded me of the bullying that happened to me in school years ago & the fighting back that I should’ve done, but didn’t do. I am very proud of Loretta Claiborne & her success. Her fighting back was something that I regret not doing when I should’ve done it.
Please don’t blame yourself. When our survival gets challenged, in this case when we get bullied, it is normal that everyone have their own reactions. Sometimes I used to fight back and other times I used to freeze. It is called Fight-flight- freeze response. I hope this makes you feel better and know, you’re not alone ❤I give you a hug 🫂
I was in special education almost my whole life, from the time I was in elementary school to the time I was in high school and it was embarrassing and it helped me, I needed it
There’s nothing embarrassing about being in special ed, just means you had a lot of people who loved and supported you enough to help you learn the best way possible. I wish I had the same opportunity.
This is absolutely the most heartwarming movie ever Miss . Loretta, you are a true champion. God bless you in every area of your precious, powerful life
Poor Loretta. She had a rough childhood and adolescence because the students and her sister criticized her and get her into trouble in school and home. I feel bad for her.
😭😭😭 who else cries through this entire movie. What a gift Loretta is to this world. Isn’t it ironic she is special needs due to her impairment but what I see is a woman who has changed the lives of everyone she came across. So beautiful and beyond her shortcomings. One love and respect ✊🏾
Her mom was mad at her and violence is never the answer but her mom is ignoring the root cause behind Loretta violence was her being tired of people mistreating her because of her learning disabilities
I think her mom was trying to treat her like she didn't suffer from mental retardation as you can see throughout the movie and letting her know that wasn't the answer...because I was like but they were hitting her but then I saw how she was treating her...she was trying to raise her as normal as possible and look what happened...
@@Daydreams-hu2fs she truly wanted Loretta to be treated like everyone else. Even though she was different. She wanted her to have as normal a life as possible. That means disciplining her the same as everyone else. I don’t agree with everything in the movie . But Rita seemed like a good mom to her daughter.
This is one of the best movies I have seen. What great lessons to be learned. How wonderful is the program of Special Olympics. Thank you for putting this on TH-cam.
My yearbook has my picture in the special Olympics but they really need to drop MR because other words exist and are physically and mentally draining others.
This is a beautiful story of a young girl overcoming all the odds and stepping into victory in so many areas of her life. It’s a very sweet movie. Thank you for sharing it.
What a beautiful story and great acting from everyone.👏🏾🌹💐 Ms. M. Kennedy, for founding the Special Olympics.👏🏾💐I’m so very grateful for the mom not enabling Loretta, and letting her know that she can do anything if she works hard enough. To her favorite teacher and social worker who cared for Loretta’s needs, how beautiful. 🥰💐💐 Loretta, helped mend relationships all around her, and became true friends with some of her team members and coaches. Loretta, ran herself right out of the Special Olympics, but stayed because she was loved, and she loved them in return. Thanks so much for sharing this movie!
Loretta overcame so many obstacles of abusive behavior from her classmates, and then at the work place for mentally challenged. She was expected to act as though the abuse was inconsequential by social worker. Im glad she overcame obstacles to achieve her goals . Het mother had it rough trying to raise 6 children on a housekeeper's wages in the 1960s -1970s. Her brother and her teacher really cared for her. Her mom loved her but was broken. Kimberly Elise is a dynamic actress on the same level as her godmother, the late great Cicely Tyson. The woman who played Eunice Shriver looks like she really is a Kennedy.
oh Cisely Tyson was an astonishing charismatic force of nature , I admire her so much as a highly accomplished actress . Love ANY film she is in . Fried Green Tomato's is one of my all time favourite films with her in and the one where she is a teacher to underpreviledged ( excuse spelling ) children based on a true story ;D
Loretta's mother Rita, her brother Sam, Miss Rydell, Janet McFarland, Coach Andy from Special Olympics, and Eunice Kennedy Shriver were all wonderful role models to Loretta. Janet was initially brusque and impatient, but Loretta eventually realized that she genuinely cared about her and wanted her to be successful.
I give this movie a perfect 10/10. It is a must see. Thanks to all who made it possible. Thank You Father God that You give beauty for ashes and no one is a mistake but is instead Your perfect masterpiece.❤
Just saw this film 2024, I second your comment is well said. Praise our heavenly father God, for the film & all who made it possible. Thank God the greatest is love.
Loretta: I never thought you even liked me Christine Loretta: I should have known you wouldn't do anything nice for me Loretta: where are you going can I come see you Loretta: why are you always mad at me Me: awe 😢😊🥺 Loretta was such a kind heart she wanted to get along with her big sister but honestly her own sister was jealous of her as she said it's sad how females receive jealousy from other females but it's even sadder when females are on the receiving end of jealousy from their own sisters once Loretta realized that her own sister was Jealous of her it broke her heart 💔
OMG I have been hoping that someone would upload this made-for-TV movie I watched when I was in grade school! I remember how dignified Loretta's mom was portrayed.
Her sister thought her looks were were supposed to be her savior and away from responsibility n living life the normal way not of off looks alone. Her mother raised her right but her thoughts were evil n messed up.
That's how my God sister is she thinks she is so much better than me because I don't have a normal life or have kids I don't drive my life is not great my mom takes my check and doesn't give me much of my money it's not right if I was normal she wouldn't be treating me this way it's not right 😢😢
It reminds me of how much my mom went through having a child with sickle cell disease!!! I've accomplished so much due to her never enabling me & telling me I can do anything those without this disease can do. I'm 33 now & I still face mistreatment especially in ERs & Hospitals unfortunately...
Your mum did an awesome job and good on you for being a teachable child who listened to your mum. Not everyone listens and chooses to overcome their obstacles, others would rather be victims of circumstance and get pitied. Why do you face mistreatment in ERs and hospitals in general?
Thank you so much for putting this movie up. I remember watching this was back when I was in the 3rd grade. Loretta story was so inspiring. I never forget my Grandmother seeing the commercials for this film and saying that our family was going to watch it. I could relate to her story because people mistreated me as well. Because I was gifted but yet challenged. . My Mother was like Mrs. Claiborne a single mother who had a special needs daughter. Although the odds were stacked up against me my Mother still fought through the challenges and I became a true success story. Those who wants mistreated me actually ended up congratulating me.
This cast did not disappoint. Where are the Oscars and more? Everyone made this ambitiously wonderful gift from Gd's story of conquest something that will be forever etched in my memory.
What an inspirational and moving movie. We can learn so much from the story of Loretta. Kimberly is incredible in this role. Love it until the end and sheared some tears too.
I have watched this movie for the second time in yrs this is such an inspiring story for everyone Thank God he gave Loretta to a mother with love and courage that see Loretta as a perfect child who could accomplish anything.
My goodness I didn't expect this movie to make me cry so profusely. 😭 😭 😭 What a purely inspirational woman. Thank you to all this responsible for this movie; for telling her story so elegantly & intently. Especially Kimberly Elise. Such an absolutely BRILLIANT actress.
Watching this movie makes me feel that the movie Forrest Gump was literally depicted from her life story and then reshaped in Hollywood's eyes. I'm flabbergasted by the many similarities
I'm confused (not really) as to why this young lady keeps getting abused, when she defends herself, why is she the only person punished? Of course this still happens
I use to work for the special Olympics in Minnesota; it truly was the best job I've ever had working and supporting the athletes, i enjoyed it so much that I went back to volunteer . That was so many years ago, but I would love to do again. I now work as a CNA and a CMT in a nursing home; taking care of psych and elderly residents.
Wonderful movie. Perfect casting all around. Sometimes as parents it's hard to let our kids struggle when things are hard. This mama knew that letting her struggle in the beginning would save her harder struggles later in life. We need to do this for all children.
This was a beautiful and awesome movie. I'd never heard of this movie before. I'm glad I watched it. Kimberly Elise is an underrated actress who deserves to be recognized for her magnificent work.
Such a powerfully, progressive, sound and anointing film all wrapped up in life's world of good, bad and indifference. It touched me in so many ways. It caused me to pray about my own stumbling blocks and how to get passed them. I needed this film. It is medicine for whatever ails anyone who watches it. Thank you so much for posting this. Peace and love for life🥰❤💯
I cried and smiled and cried and smiled some more .I love movies like these, encouraging and motivational too.I love how Sam always supported her ,Great bond, beautiful brother and sister relationship.Loretta's a true hero indeed,God bless those who believed in her.❤❤
I watched this movie last night with my family. This film is powerful and very heartfelt. I needed to watch some of these scenes again. My mom almost cried because it was so sad and happy! My grandma told me about this movie, I really need to thank her. My 14 year old brother has autism, my grandma wanted him to watch it so he can be inspired and he can learn a lesson from this movie. 5 out of 5. I need to right a review about this movie now!
Kimberly Elise is an amazing actress! She puts her all into her roles! I always thought she was Cecily's daughter for the longest time. If a movie is ever made about her, Kimberly better get the role.
I love a good movie that makes me weep. I'm from country Australia and have never heard of Loretta. I started watching thinking,ok let's see if you can make me cry.. I started within 2mins, and through out the movie I was either crying, smiling or smiling and crying.. and oh my god, how good an actress is Kimberly Elise? Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! Thankyou for posting this.😊
I just love Kimberly as an actress. So many of my favorite actresses in this story. Great story. What a blessing Loretta Claiborne was to her family, and her mother, brother, and all the others God put in her life were a blessing to Loretta. God is so good!
Seeing people take advantage of or be mean to people that are not “normal” makes me so mad I be ready to fight😤 their usually the sweetest people how can you hate them cause their different. Even tho I know these aren’t the real people I wanted to jump thru the screen so many time
I’m right with you 💯but god bless u this world is a rough world to live in at times but I truly know that GOD our Lord And Savior will take care of us💗🧔🏽♀️✝️ Amen Shalom
I truly enjoyed this story. Mental Retarded is God special children and they are as smart as they are allowed to be. I'm so grateful that Loretta Claiborne shared her story with us. It brought lots of tears running down my face. I never cared for the word retard because I always thought it was so cruel. I could watch this movie a thousand times and never get tried. I'm glad I got the opportunity to learn about the Queen Loretta Claiborne🎉🎉🎉🎉
It is indeed a very cruel and nasty word. My older brother whom I have never actually met has a learning disability. I do not know much about him, but I have worked with many people with mild to profound special needs and referring to them as retards would just be incredibly cruel.
People who mistreat others with special needs think they are smart but are really misinformed, superficial, and narrow-minded. They do not understand, or want to understand, that everybody learns differently and has unique personalities, capabilities, and limitations. I, myself, grew up with an unspecified "learning disability" but was not officially diagnosed with Asperger's until adulthood. Like Loretta, I started out in Special Ed. and suffered from bullying as a kid, then went on to become an honors student in undergraduate college with a major in French and a minor in Spanish. I was a track athlete in Special Olympics, like Loretta, for six years before I got married. I also worked in Special Services, like you, for over ten years before having my own children. A lot of famous people are believed to have had Asperger's Syndrome, such as Einstein, Sir Isaac Newton, Mozart, Beethoven, and Thomas Jefferson.
Mentally retarded was the term used back in the 60's and 70's and probably earlier. Now it's not considered appropriate so they use special needs instead but back then I guess they were not aware of the implications of such a term.
This is a very inspirational Story! A great watch for family's with Special Needs, to help understand how to cope, and realize their capacity to learn! Need to find out what it is they desire to do. Life is a trial and error for everyone! They have to work harder to accomplish, as you know what they have to endure. I have all the Respect for those who are mistreated, and Pity the Abusers! We need more Love than Hate for us to live as Descent Human Beings on this God Given Gift! I do PRAY! Thank You for this Terrific Story! Very Well Done! GBU.,SM.,NZ., ✌❤😁🙏🤗👍
❤❤❤ I am sorry about that. This shows what a wonderful parent you are who doesn’t give up on her child. I wish I had parents like this when I was younger but for sure , as an adult, if I will ever have a child I will pour my heart and soul into loving and protecting him ! I admire parents like this ❤❤
This movie is so beautiful. I Read my bible verse for the day then this popped up in my reccomendations. It made me keep crying because I have a learning disability. I use to hate getting picked on and getting told I dont look like I have a learning disabillity. Then I hate when people dont realize its different ones. I remember getting bullied etc because of it. This movie really made me think of me now and my childhood but Im glad I found people. Who love me for me. Writing is my talent though. I love this no matter our challenges. Everyone is special in their own way.
Have you ever thought of going to a therapist or counselor to find out what kind of learning disability you have? I myself was born prematurely and knew all along that I was different but didn't realize I had issues with social skills until I struggled to find a job. (I started out in Special Ed and was bullied like Loretta in elementary and middle school.) Finally, at 30, I saw a psychologist and she said that, based on patterns of behavior she observed, I had Asperger Syndrome, a disorder high up on the autistic scale. I was actually relieved by this diagnosis because it gave me a better understanding of who I really am and guided me in finding a place to fit in. I ended up getting a job as a teacher's aide in Special Services and worked there faithfully for over ten years until I had my own children.
This movie struck me so deeply 😪 I cried all the way through. 😢 I so can relate to some of the incidents that happened to Loretta. What really hit when she said I been running 🏃♂️ uphill all my life. I feel that down deep. Still running 🏃♀️ uphill. Great actors with so much feeling. 👏
Best movie I've seen in years or maybe the best movie I've ever seen that littles lady played that part to the max in the store was fantastic she is what you would call a real human.
This movie is an inspirational movie that brought me back to the time when I had a special friend that everyone picked on her all of the time. I always stood up for her, especially when everyone else saw her as stupid and so on. I always encourage her to stand up for herself. It only takes certain kinds of people to take interest in a person with special needs to prove that he/or she can succeed. "Great movie!"
I watched this movie over a decade ago and was trying to find it to watch it again, only to watch it today. Some parts were so sad and difficult to watch.
Never heard of Loretta before. This movie is a must see. It’s about courage, hope, forgiveness, resilience and the will to overcome all obstacles along the way no matter what. Since we have a deep sense of conviction to believe that whatever life trows at us at the end all would be ok and well in Jesus Name. There are many Loretta’s out there if only they would get a helping hand. This movie is an eye opener for all of us. All persons with disabilities needs is a helping hand, a chance and to be motivated that they can achieve something, regain their self worth and full potential. To be respected and to live a life worth living
A very inspirational film everyone could learn from. With everything Loretta had to overcome & wth a load of extremely hardwork - no excuses - she more than deserved the success. And the most important part of the story was RITA who from the beginning always believed in her & never gave up on Loretta. And her social worker who wouldn't take no for an answer either. Valid point about her so called "classmate" who treated her like crap in school but jumped on the "bandwagon" once Loretta was famous. Glad Loretta put her in her place.
Best inspirational movie I've seen for some time,, thank you. Loretta's story is about her rare gift of innate self belief, pushing past the barriers of discrimination, and honoring others above self importance - a rare jewel in Gods Crown.
Tear jerker 😢 but the greatest part is she won 🥇 at the end and even though the real Loretta may never know who I am I’ll always be at the finish line cheering her on 🎉
Absolutely awesome and inspiring story. I have to admit my eyes leaked a few times ,she truly touched my heart..what a great person with a huge heart.❤️🥰 i wonder where she is now and what shes up to..i wish there was a part 2..

One of the many best lines in the movie.
Loved that!! In fact, adored the movie. It was an honor and a pleasure.
And you see the guilt on her face after she told her off cause she knew she was wrong
Reminds me of Forrest Gump.

She played her parts well
Always

Two minutes in and crying my eyes out already. God gave Loretta to Rita on purpose. Don't remember seeing this before. What a wonderful story.

Join the club sister, I'm at work crying 😢
She had such a nice relationship with her brother
: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16❤❤
Thank God for that, because her sister treated her horribly.
That Alice person was no better!
I never knew about Loretta Clairborne. I cried during the entire movie. Thank you Loretta for your strength and courage. Thanks to your mum for all that she believed that you were capable of doing. You inspired me today. Thank you.
I'm just in tears. This is very inspirational. Don't let your disability hinder you.
sometimes disabilities are severe and they cannot be overcome or worked around, also most people do not have the support and opportunities Loretta was blessed to have.
Amen!!!
That pissed me off
This happens a lot. When the victim of bullying finally decides to fight back and defend themselves, they are labelled as the aggressor, attacker and bad person. Many times they end up getting expelled or unfairly disciplined, yet the bully gets away with it and continues bullying them and other people.
Exactly
Having speech issues hurts...
Right! Especially when the guy grabbed her hair!
I was in special education almost my whole life, from the time I was in elementary school to the time I was in high school and it was embarrassing and it helped me, I needed it
I been there done that but not anymore
There’s nothing embarrassing about being in special ed, just means you had a lot of people who loved and supported you enough to help you learn the best way possible. I wish I had the same opportunity.
This is absolutely the most heartwarming movie ever
Miss . Loretta, you are a true champion. God bless you in every area of your precious, powerful life
I feel the same way
What a GREAT MOVE! 😭🥺😭🥺
Kimberly Elise, pure perfection as an actress 😍 I love that she's so versatile
Me too!!!
Poor Loretta. She had a rough childhood and adolescence because the students and her sister criticized her and get her into trouble in school and home. I feel bad for her.
❤😂 Just Awesome!!
@@classicstorm she needed to treat her daughter with patience because she learns differently than others
@@Daydreams-hu2fs We don't know the mother in real life but this movie did not showcase that she didn't have patience...
They say she’s intellectual, but I think it a learning disability, the real Loretta speaks so good
I don't like that they fault her for her outbursts when they clearly bothered her first especially with the guy who touched her hair!
Exactly especially when the cs goes talk to him first
Same here
Preach!❤So, true!
Yeah, I was confused. He literally grabbed her hair
Thank you for sharing it.
and yes, they were and probably still JEALOUS of Loretta Claiborne....she has a life none of them will ever get
What a beautiful story and great acting from everyone.👏🏾🌹💐 Ms.
I worked at a special needs school here in Mobile Alabama and I really enjoyed special Olympics
I Austism Kids Used To Bully Me.
Rest In Peace Eunice Kennedy Shriver
Founded by Eunice Kennedy Shriver
It was nine in real life I feel she had more of a learning disability than intellectual one.
❤great movie
I agree, think she had more of learning disability ... than intellectual ... @@tangiechapman6219
oh Cisely Tyson was an astonishing charismatic force of nature , I admire her so much as a highly accomplished actress .
Very well said.
Just saw this film 2024, I second your comment is well said. Praise our heavenly father God, for the film & all who made it possible. Thank God the greatest is love.
Loretta: I never thought you even liked me Christine
Loretta: I should have known you wouldn't do anything nice for me
Loretta: where are you going can I come see you
Loretta: why are you always mad at me
Me: awe 😢😊🥺
Loretta was such a kind heart she wanted to get along with her big sister but honestly her own sister was jealous of her as she said it's sad how females receive jealousy from other females but it's even sadder when females are on the receiving end of jealousy from their own sisters once Loretta realized that her own sister was Jealous of her it broke her heart 💔
Tell me about it, I experienced it first hand, and it's very sad and disappointing.
OMG I have been hoping that someone would upload this made-for-TV movie I watched when I was in grade school! I remember how dignified Loretta's mom was portrayed.
Me to I only saw this movie on tv on get one time I been searching I’m glad they uploaded this movie
Beautiful and inspired movie of faith in herself
Me too I watched it as a child on tv and been trying to find it the past couple of years I'm so glad they have this movie
This movie was a 10! Prefectly shows injustice and how to overcome it! Loved it!
She is more of an inspiration than she could ever possibly know ❤🎉
She made all that money an they treat her like that an didn’t let her join the team Smfh what a world 😢😢 awww Loretta
ThT beating gave me satisfaction
This was a great movie. I’m so glad it came across my suggestions. Bravo 👏🏾
The jealousy of her sister was terrible
Makes me glad I don't have a sister.
@@melyndaduh3501 I have a sister and had a brother who passed away in October I can't say that at all every sibling has their flaws
Her sister thought her looks were were supposed to be her savior and away from responsibility n living life the normal way not of off looks alone. Her mother raised her right but her thoughts were evil n messed up.
That's how my God sister is she thinks she is so much better than me because I don't have a normal life or have kids I don't drive my life is not great my mom takes my check and doesn't give me much of my money it's not right if I was normal she wouldn't be treating me this way it's not right 😢😢
@@beb5407 Can't say her mother raised her right
It reminds me of how much my mom went through having a child with sickle cell disease!!!
Well written Blessings to your Journey and success ....God Bless You and Your Mother.Congrulations to whom mistreated You.....❤
This cast did not disappoint.
You are special, I know you are holy from birth, I don't love you for what you can or can't do, but for who you are, My Friend. Bless!
Never saw this til tonight 12/3/22. I loved it!!! Had me crying. What a Beautiful story!!!! 😊❤🙏✌
Today is the first time I ever heard of this movie or saw this movie.
Just finished watching it 12/4/22. & enjoyed it as well. It definitely was a touching movie
AMEN!!!
Watching this movie makes me feel that the movie Forrest Gump was literally depicted from her life story and then reshaped in Hollywood's eyes. I'm flabbergasted by the many similarities
This story created in me a new heart and renewed a even better spirit in me. I cried tears of joy the whole movie. Thanks for crating it.❤❤❤
Kimberly Elise is such a brilliant, phenomenal actress, she never disappoints💕
I'm confused (not really) as to why this young lady keeps getting abused, when she defends herself, why is she the only person punished? Of course this still happens
Right it's sad and unfortunately
I agree, that wasn't fair at all
It’s because the American disabilities act wasn’t created yet
I use to work for the special Olympics in Minnesota; it truly was the best job I've ever had working and supporting the athletes, i enjoyed it so much that I went back to volunteer . That was so many years ago, but I would love to do again. I now work as a CNA and a CMT in a nursing home; taking care of psych and elderly residents.
Wonderful movie. Perfect casting all around. Sometimes as parents it's hard to let our kids struggle when things are hard. This mama knew that letting her struggle in the beginning would save her harder struggles later in life. We need to do this for all children.
I've been looking for this movie for years. I saw it in school in the 3rd grade and now I teach school. Favorite movie with Kimberly of all times!
I so love Kimberly Elise's acting. Also the other girls who was the younger Rita's did an excellent job.
Yes Kimberly Elise is very talented
Yes younger girl played really well 🎉
She is very sweet in petson. I let herr when i was with loretta
This was a beautiful and awesome movie. I'd never heard of this movie before. I'm glad I watched it. Kimberly Elise is an underrated actress who deserves to be recognized for her magnificent work.
What a beautiful, beautiful story. Loretta gives anyone the courage to run on in life's race. God bless her. ❤❤❤👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌💖💕♥️💞
Omg I’m crying already… This is my journey with my 22 year old son… I’ll never give up on him ❤️
Don't give up on him
He's your future
Such a powerfully, progressive, sound and anointing film all wrapped up in life's world of good, bad and indifference. It touched me in so many ways. It caused me to pray about my own stumbling blocks and how to get passed them. I needed this film. It is medicine for whatever ails anyone who watches it. Thank you so much for posting this. Peace and love for life🥰❤💯
Finally, I watched it in full. Winning isn't just an attitude; it's knowing which attitude to have in the process...
I was claimed to have Mr myself. Ugh!
😭" if she can learn she still has a chance in this tuff old world " some people just need to be shown THE WAY ...JESUS
this is truly an inspirational life story of a person who never quit...Praise the Lord for Loretta
It’s nothing to be ashamed of but yet the world and people make us feel that we should be ashamed
!!!!!

Omg I’ve been looking for this movie everywhere!! I loved this movie so much when I was younger. Thank you!!!
Could watch over and over really plays with the heart strings‼️❤️
Lord this movie has me crying tears of joy. I love it.
This movie is so underrated
Very underrated Aaron
Such an amazing movie! As a parent of a child with special needs it's so true the extra lengths we go to just to have them accepted.
Wonderful Story! Excellent Acting! Hats off especially to Kimberly Elise!❤🙏💐💒🥇🙌🙏
We used to watch this movie so many times when I was younger and it definitely brings back so many memories
God bless you for standing up for her.
What a beautiful story. We have so much to be grateful for.
Glad someone finally uploaded this.
I’m so glad to come across this movie. Loved every moment of it. 🌻☘️💖🙏🏽

Thank you ❤️
A beautiful, inspiring story. So glad it's available for us to watch!!!
You did a wonderful job blessings go out to you girl every movie you play you play the hell out of it that's a wonderful gift ❤️🎉
Tear jerker 😢 but the greatest part is she won 🥇 at the end and even though the real Loretta may never know who I am I’ll always be at the finish line cheering her on 🎉
We know 🙏
I have cried through this whole movie. It was very moving. So inspiring. ❤❤❤
Absolutely awesome and inspiring story. I have to admit my eyes leaked a few times ,she truly touched my heart..what a great person with a huge heart.❤️🥰 i wonder where she is now and what shes up to..i wish there was a part 2..
In real life, Loretta is about 65 to 70 years old and she is a spokesperson and on the board of directors for Special Olympics.
