This was a beautiful documentary. I'm so glad she narrated this. Brought a personal intimate touch. So sad she only lived to be 65, and her son passed away at 39. Highly recommended.
Loved it excellent movie lot to take away from this . Great story Thanks for the upload hope to see many more quality movies like this . May God's angels surround you and all of us
Man I didn’t expect to cry the way I did🥺 I can relate to her in so many ways especially when it comes to that part of forgiveness. God had to bring me through a healing process and it wasn’t easy but it was worth it. He taught me how to see pass the actions of those who hurt us and see straight into their hearts of what’s really behind those actions, what’s really goin on deep down. I really love the fact that she narrated her own story, honestly this is probably one of the best biographies I’ve ever watched. Keep going guys, Jesus loves you so much and desires a relationship with you. His plans for you are not of harm but of love. He wants to comfort you when you’re down and pick you up when you fall. Love you and I pray this blesses you 🕊
This was such a beautiful movie/biography of her life. I find it brilliant she did her own and not anyone doing a biography if she would gave died. She was so honest about what happened. The demon drugs can destroy everything. With the Grace of God and her Angels ancestral I believe helping her. Beautiful! 🌹 ❤
@anairenemartinez165 She talked about her drug addiction openly when she was alive, and there isn't anything wrong with acknowledging the things you struggle with. Our testimonies can help orhers be free from the things they struggle with. EVERYONE have issues and faults for various reasons. NO ONE IS PERFECT.
This has been one of the most healing documentaries I've ever experienced. The loss of a father dynamic and how Natalie depicts it in this movie is just mind-blowing. Her relationship with her mother is so identical to what I've experienced in my life and relationship with my mother...literally blew my mind and was so heart ranching. We always assume that daughters will have the best relationship with their mothers and yet its not always the case. I have always had a more positive experience with my father, not perfect but he left in me the type of eternal love that my mother just couldn't. Instead I've always felt like my mother and I somewhat competed for his love, she made me feel it so deeply even after he passed on. I never went into drugs but I had other addictions and always felt so alone. I'm a psychologist now, and a holistic wellness practitioner. Natalie Cole's story is so relatable on so many levels.
@@damita4336Maria was so jealous of her daughter that she was almost disgusted that her husband loved his children so much. Hurt people hurt people. Maria was abused as a child and did not understand her husband’s 😢feelings for their children. She was raised in a space where fathers abused their children not treated them with Love. ❤️
This movie brought back SOOOOO many memories of Natalie's early career. Imagine how much more she could have soared if she hadn't been crippled by her addictions......
Trust me if you put God first in your life, He will put you right where you should be, no matter the obstacles that were before you. He will make as if you’ve never skipped a beat. I know He did it for me and Natalie’s career soared like never before after she’d been clean & sober, especially after releasing The Unforgettable album.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE ON NATALIE AND HER FATHER NAT KING COLE SHE NEVER BLAME ANYONE BUT HERSELF THAT IS WHY GOD KEPT ON BLESSING HER I AM A LIVING TESTIMONY MYSELF I WILL BE CLEAN AND SOBER FOR 4 YEARS THIS MARCH 6-2024 AND I KNOW IT HAD TO BE BY THE GRACE OF GOD 🙏🏾❤️ THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO AND MAY GOD BLESS EVERYONE WHO IS DEALING WITH DRUGS AND ALCOHOL DONT NEVER EVER GIVE UP 🙏🏾❤️
Not everyone lives through it to tell their story. As she said it, the pain of loneliness is one very deep inside and it is that cold, dryness that subconsciously draws to getting comfort somewhere. How good to have loving people near, who stick instead of turning their backs on you when you most need them. Our love may very often be imperfect, but some love is better than none. Anyone can see how good she looks -in the end-. She looks whole and beautiful and that testifies of her victory. She acknowledged God and she understood that she had to fight. Many blessings!!
Drugs does destroy lives in relationships and family and loved ones I just thank God she's been so honest and open with this I went through a relationship that a person was on drugs and it messed our relationship thank God right now he's getting help ❤
So glad I just happened to Scroll down and find this incredible tribute/ movie . Nat King Cole’s the Christmas song is so beautiful. Loved how Natalie made a tribute to her dad and sang along with him. Had me tears . Thank you
Oh My Good God!! I came across by "accident" with this masterpiece! Beautiful Natalie! May you Be enjoying of Our Heavenly Father!!! Thanks for this gift and for being part of it! Really moving!
This was an Excellent movie , so well written.Great Legends, Dianne Carroll, Natalie Cole, Nat King Cole ALL gone to be with the Lord. What a legacy for generations to enjoy. That is what life is all about. Leaving a legacy sometimes comes with a price. Thank You for sharing this film.
Beautiful movie."Our Love", one of my favorite songs. I had no idea she was speaking of her ex-husband. Heroine is a hard drug to kick. I am glad she overcame her addiction.
A beautiful story indeed. It is not about how often you fall, but your willingness to pick yourself up. It is definitely by God's grace. It is a "must-watch" story. Much appreciated.
What a mother she had! I would have taken to drugs too if I had a cold mother like her. And she was so nice and respectful to her mother despite the indifference. Nice lady she was.
What a great movie/biography on Natalie's life. It was so important that she had the chance to tell and document her life's story and not somebody else who didn't know about the road on which she traveled.❤
I was hesitant to watch this, thought it would be some cheesy thing. But I cried especially when Marvin passed and then I had to get the Kleenex. I was born in ‘59 and Nat died in ‘65, but I grew up on my mom’s 78 records and fell in love with Nat King Cole. This was an outstanding movie about these two incredible people ❤❤
Wow! Thank you so much for this movie, I love watching famous people's real life stories, I thought at one time she was using her father's song to get back what she lost, but watching this movie told me her true intentions, now I really appreciate how she honored the first love of her life, nat king cole❤
I absolutely love her album Take a look when I was 16. I would sing along to every song as I recorded it from the radio - I think was ewhere I built my vocal ability
They all passed so young... The actress playing Natalie is gorgeous. WOW when she came out of rehab I wondered what happened to her face, she looked so different. LOL Her voice was incredible (AND get rid of the nanny who didn't jump in the pool to save your child from drowning..) RIP Natalie.
@@irenemagill4890 definitely missed that. Just saw her standing on the side for a very long time yelling... hopefully if in real life she didn't wait that long because the child would not have a good chance even if she got to him.
So enjoyed watching this movie.....just shows what drugs can do to your life but she overcame it twice and came out the other end....she never ever got over the death of her dad. Thank you for sharing your story with us all...RIP Natalie Cole
I remember watching this at age 20, soon after I bought the Everlasting album CD. that album really "jump start" her career. I'll never forget this moment and I was feeling bad for Natalie.I was wondering why they got to almost the end of the film to have the real Natalie. Rip Natalie Cole, you were unforgettable
I will always love Natalie Cole and her father Nat King Cole ❤😊🎉 She's got a bit of my favorite songs Thanks to my mom who introduced me to her songs Di Carroll is another favorite
One of my all time favorite singers. I was blessed to see her live in the Circle Star Theater in San Francisco in 1980. She told the audience she finally came to terms with the passing of her father and that she could finally sing a couple of his songs. She was fantastic in her own right, and hearing her sing her father's songs was glorious. I loved both Nat's and Natalie's songs too. May Natalie Cole and Nat King Cole RIP with Our Lord and Savior. 🕆🕯🕊
Gratefully, my mom bought Natalie Cole's book 📚, Tina Turner's book, & many others by the time I was a teen in the late 90s. So it's nice to see a movie about what I already read about. 😊👍
Oh my im here for this Natalie cole story👑🙏🏽❤️🕊may God forever rest her & parents soul thank you for sharing this movie i just celebrate her birthday ❤️
I love Natalie Cole and her music is awesome. Drugs don't discriminate but with sheer will, they can be overcome.
I love Natalie Cole. By God's Grace she overcame drug addiction. Although she's gone her legacy of beautiful music lives on.💙
Don't think she ever actually overcame it
@@damita4336 Didn't her first husband, Marvin Yancy also do drugs as well?

I did not know her son passed away! Wow. How sad😢
@@donnamariedavidson5065 Yeah, I didn't know either until after watching this documentary. Her only son.
They are all together in paradise
This isn't a documentary. It's a biopic.
Very nice (Sad that people still use drugs )so much
Great movie both daughter and father gave this country music to remember for years to come.
Yes, GENERATIONS !!
"I'm Catching Hell" was one of my favorite songs. I absolutely adore Natalie Cole. ❤

"This will be" and "our love " are my favs!

ME TOO !! ❤❤❤❤❤
She made a country style song called Your Lonely Heart that I adore!!! My little Niece and Nephew loves it too!!
What a great movie, better than I expected. Great life lessons brought to light. Thank you Natalie for sharing your life with us.
R.I.P Nat King Cole and R.I.P Natalie Cole. Thank you both for the beautiful music and lyrics you left for us to enjoy.
Beautiful stories, love it, she tells her own stories, Dianne Carrol did a good job playing her mother
A very beautiful memory of Natalie Cole.

She says hate, not so, dissapointed because I truly love Nat and Natalie. Why people do this to themselves? Whitney, Natalie
I just don't get. I drink wrine, a glass here and there, that's it. I did not see her high, she was done.

I was so gleeful to see that her mother DID NOT leave and was present while she recorded Unforgettable With Love. She definitely needed her Mommy!🤍
At that point Maria needed her too. She had to make peace with all her inner dealings... her jealousy of her daughter was subtle
