    That mac and cheese looks amazing. Subbed just for that. I'm on a 1700 calorie diet currently, 500 down from my maintenance. Only three weeks in and I'm just over a stone down (17lbs, 8Kg). Loving these recipe ideas.

    • @ВарёныйКартофель-г2ж
      @ВарёныйКартофель-г2ж 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's likely that your deficit is bigger. Normally people dont lose more than 1% of body mass per week unless they're starving themselves (50%+ deficit)
      Maybe you underestimated your metabolism? Didnt account for workouts/walks? Alternatively you might have 200kg body mass, that'll also fit into 1%/week resulting in 8kg/day

    • @neeway1620
      @neeway1620 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ВарёныйКартофель-г2ж I did think that initially as it dropped off rapidly. It has really leveled out now and seeing much more gradual results. I'm at around 8 weeks now and have seen a decrease on the scale of 12kg. I started at my heaviest at 118kg and currently 106. I think that averages to 3lb a week. I was aiming for 2lb off a week with 500 calories below maintenance. I went from sedentary and very dehydrated to a sensible diet, 3L water a day, and moderate exercise 3-4 times a week. all in all, I'm feeling healthier, happier, and far from malnourished. Thanks for the comment though, I do plan to regularly recalculate and modify the diet accordingly.

Would stuff like this (in higher quantities/portion sizes, of course) be good for creating a HIGHER-calorie diet (i.e. burning 4k calories/day total) that relies on nutrient-dense foods rather than empty calories?
