Yo people, macros/calories and cost for each meal are on the screen at 02:51, 06:18 and 09:28. Seems from the comments like a few people missed those, which means you're obviously skipping parts of my video and therefore we are no longer friends 😡🙃 x
Also the meal prep containers I used are linked in the description.
I did seem to miss them.
skipping parts of the video make Joe grumpy!!!11!!1!!!
@@petrhanzl8399 I didn't skip. I just watched it while doing something else and my eyes weren't on the video at those times 😂
@@stefaandeswert377 As long as TH-cam register the view time it's all good 😆
Always love these mate. Would you ever do a cold lunch meal prep? Sound weird but on the road 4 days out of 5 and can’t reheat food in the car lol
Always wondered if the “Joe Delaney is my hero” guys on the tandem bike know just how many people have seen that clip. Legends.
Isn’t Joe the guy in the back Joe? And I always assumed he’s pushing a lad in a shopping trolley
With shit like this, the dead internet theory seems more and more possible.
you're definitely one of the most chill gymbro ytbers, keep it up bro absolutely love it
I discovered long time ago your channel with this your old budget friendly meal prep at Aldi. So happy to see it back now 🎉
same
I saw this guy on a tv show 🤣 imagine my surprise when the algorithm brought me to his channel some years ago
@@MaxiimTribe what the name of the TV show ?! 😂
When I discovered his channel Tommy b was hitting the tekky wobz
@@974chams Ex on the beach lol 4th season to be specific
amazing video as always. thank you for helping so many of us Joey! that dinner recipe looks so good and easy to make, ill give it a go for this week
WOW Joe this is the original style of video I originally discovered you years ago! Love it :)
Love seeing the basic meals my family eats already mirrors what you do...let's go!
First time watching your channel. Great video I love the gentlemans simplicity and the watch is a nice visual touch.
Seriously, this is exactly what I need, thank you so much. So much information packed into this video.
Joe has been posting consistently. Good job mate!
It’s the video we’ve all been waiting for 🙌
These are great ideas - I’m planning to relocate soon and have been worried about finding a way to budget my meals - am going to be using some of the ideas in this video. Thanks Joe

This video is amazing I have been looking for a cheap easy meal prep which doesn’t require me to be Gordon Ramsey, and this is the best I have found! please please do more of these 🙏🏼
JOEY DELANEY IS MY HERO!
I stumbled upon this videi in passing and I couldn't help but notice how smart you are. Thanks for sharing an insight into your thoughts through those side comments. It was so wholesome to watch.
You have a lovely clean kitchen and fridge 👏🏻
If you make space in your fridge and don't lid the meals you can cool them quicker and more safely ! Lid when fridge temp!!!
been waiting for a video like this using aldi as its my main store cheers man
These are exactly the videos i need to help me reach my goals ❤ prepping is the biggest ball ache for me!
Excellent video as always mate
I just came back from the grocery store so this came in handy thanks Joe!
Love these kinds of videos from you. Thanks
So much of my current meal prep has fallen back on making stews, chilli, curry with rice or potatoes etc. with lots of vegetables snd meat of course but even with fat and sygar restrictions, it's best for your health to eat as variously as you can, but its hard to break a habit of making the same old recipes, especially when youre planning prep around everything else you need to do.
These are some really great ideas that inspire me to branch out and do more interesting stuff when ive been stuck in a rut.
Broccoli is absolutely legendary though, I'm pretty sure it'd pair with chocolate if you were crazy enough. Curries, pasta dishes, with stews or in stews, even in place of rice when you're cutting. Love to see it.
This is just what I’m looking for still follow the last budget video u did.. Thanks great film quality & where did all those containers come from?? Love those glasses for the oats 😂😂
Brilliant stuff, great advice and budget friendly.
Wow, this is very helpful for health and nutritional food on a budget. Thanks very much 😊
Do one for BULKING!! Please
JD is my budget meal prep hero
Finally a Joey d cooking video again!!!
Really great stuff, thanks for sharing.
I tried cooking the orzo with meatballs which was really nice.
Used the tip of grating some of the cheese into the meatball 🤤🤤
i used frozen fruit for my overnight oats, works great and can add it in when you make the oats. they defrost in the fridge and taste great
Yes more of these videos please!!
Joe Delaney is my hero
Joe, The Chef, Delaney
Great recipe ideas! I think a bit of teriyaki sauce on the top of the chicken and rice would just work so well.
Trying these this weekend!
Joe - this is brilliant thanks mate.
Remember the old aldi budget meal prep ❤️ love to see this content
Joe Delaney is my hero 🫡
finally someone doing food videos from aldi. I shop there a lot but i struggle to find recipes. Dont really get a choice what to get in there, so have to make do.
Great video! Really good meal ideas, easy to follow and economical. A+
Love your vids! Greetings from Poland 🙂
Meal prep manual YT is a winner for meal prepa
‘Nonna’ comment cracked me up. Great vid, all over that meatball recipe
Aldi is brilliant in the UK for my pack up on a 4 on 4 off rota.
I do 2 tins tuna, a pepper, brown pasta, tin of chopped tomatoes for a shift with the overnight oats with myprotein vimto powder.
About 80g of protein just there.
Fabulous! The only thing I'd say is if you add Cacao powder to the oats you get magnesium, zinc and copper along with antioxidants. What a great way to start the day by giving those free radicals a bashing (not the UK band Free Radicals!)
Thanks my dude, great video, will try the chicken for sure ❤
You are a true artist!!!
A little hack with meatballs I use is to cook them initially in the air fryer, you get a really great crisp to them and all around.
Won me over with the self awareness "Maverick contrarian" line. Comedy gold.
you freaking king! appreciate you.
just about to go to aldi, cheers joey d perfect timing
ALDI is so goated!
@@KillerTacos54good for you man because i cant stand going in there so at least someone finds joy from that weird place
Making my mouth water. Good video. Not crazy about the peanut butter and bananas (fat and sugar) but ..one man’s "meat".. Thanks for the ideas ! 👍🏽
an extra flavor boost for the meatballs: dice one onion and caramelize it. Let it cool down a bit, then mix it with the raw meat. Finally, add a few teaspoons of mustard and mix as well. the mustard will bind the meat mixture and improve the texture.
Watching this made me absolutely RAVENOUS at 10.30 at night 😂
Breadcrumbs aren't necessary in meatballs but apparently they're added to soak up juices from the meat and keep some extra flavour inside. Not tested side by side but seems about right. Also good to bulk out expensive meat if you're trying to keep costs lower, same with adding lentils, grated carrot, onion, courgette, etc.
Awsome!. Btw you can make the meatballs in the airfrier(20 min).
Cheers mate gonna give this a go
amazing menu, thank for sharing man
Did the vanilla protein powder come from ALDI? Nice channel, really like it! 👍
The goat of all meal prep videos has returned. Lest we forget the OG Aldi Chilli Con Carne🙏
TIPS, highly recommend diluting cornstarch into a bowl with cold water
Just add little by little to get your preferred consistency 😁
These look amazing
I love these vids joe
appreciate you 🫶🏽
You can also use balsamic vinegar instead of soy sauce, and it makes the chicken taste so good!
These recipes look great and tasty y going to give them a go this week.My 14 year old and I are trying to eat healthier 🎉
INSTANTLY SUBSCRIBED
Joe ur a legend
Aldi can expect these items in my basket this week
Joe just basically made what i eat for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner already 🤣🤣
Cooking the chicken thighs now! Love these videos you do :) thanks.
Lovily recipes ❤i recommend putting the chicken in the marinade the night before 😊
A different way for cooking the Meatballs is the Airfryer. I only prepare my meatballs in this way and i'm really happy with this method
I feel like I watched this just before lock down but I’ll have a look since the new price changes of the world has gone up
I strongly recommend to also use tumeric whenever you use pepper/black pepper because they strongly compliment each other and enable your body to absorb more of the beneficial compounds.
Excellent video only thing missing was the ‘meat nappy’ chat when making the meatballs. I’ve stolen that phrase for everytime I make them 😂
makes me consider veganism that thing
Maverick contrarian 😂 class stuff again pal, especially with the cost of living
Delicious looking meal!!!❤
Joe is so underrated, the British humour is top tier
Next video please on how to use a protractor to divide a meatball.
Looking forward to cooking this
Great content Joe as always. You never fail to put a smile on my face and you are about the only TH-camr that makes cooking seem easy and actually exciting.
One thing I would ask, what do you say about the Soy and your T levels? should you be consuming the Soy all the time can you replace the Soy with anything to protect your balls?
Also why do you use plastic containers? I am sure they are classed as BPA free, I think glass containers (albeit more expensive with help save you T levels again.)
1: He used a tiny bit of soy sauce, if soy did have an effect on T levels it would be negligible. 2: Soy won't do anything to your T levels, that's all bs pseudoscience, time to reconsider where you get your info from
Now THIS is content
Your Aldi is LIT and FUTURISTIC!! My Aldi looks like a 90s McDonald’s in 2010…😂😂 I hope my Aldi gets more options like yours
Amazing. will try then all fir sure.
Awesome video I would however recommend to use glass meal prep containers
Hm. Appreciate this video. I am currently trying to lose weight so all kinds of tips and ideas work. Definitely nice to try and keep it simple.
brilliant ideas.
Great recipes. For the oats I needed to use the full 1 litre of almond milk and your video appears to show you finishing off a 1l carton too. Was the 500ml a typo?
Lovely watch that! Enjoyed all of it! Very idiot proof! I will defo try the honey chicken
Aldi and Lidl are the budget gymbro's best friend!
all ingredients were purchased from ALDI which they do mention on the back of the pack BIOENGINEERED FOOD, nice one, keep looking good
love these ideas, I am starting my fitness journey after a few years hiatus and struggle. My worry is these meals don't look like they will fill you up much? Those meatballs look great but I'm pretty sure where I am currently they would last me 2 days max. Any suggestions?
