Yeah thats the main thing people get wrong when they start a diet, they read premade online diet plans that are bland and are basically dry chicken rice and broccoli type of stuff. That is hardly far from the truth and it isnt sustainable very long unless youre a crazy bodybuilding workaholic in the mind and competition is your goal. For general folk there are tons and tons of healthy recipies that are delicious while at the same time being really nutricious with good macro values. Its just a key of finding out what works for you best and being able to keep it that way for a long consistent time. Wish you a happy weight loss brother, you can do it! :D

100%. I never really learned to cook growing up as my parents worked all the time, so I learned what I could from cooking shows in my late teens. Then youtube came along (I'm 37 now) and all this information was right at my fingertips. There's no excuse for not being able to cook your own food, I love experimenting and coming up with convenient meals that suit my fitness needs.

Pro tip: heat the berries for a little bit longer and they'll stew down, juices run out giving you a yummy sauce (can add sweetener if you want to). I used to do this as a topping for protein pancakes and it's awesome.

I lost over 70lbs in last year. If you want to lose fat you need to train hard and eat clean. This is my story, the things started to change after I took diet from Next Level Diet. It was plain simple and pretty easy to follow... Training was something like home workout (three times per week). I lost 10lbs of fat in the first month already... There is also a plenty of other diet helpers I believe, but believe me personal trainers are too much expensive.

I find batch cooking on a Sunday is the best approach for an office job and busy life. It's mostly the same thing day in day out, but I like it and don't get bored. Almond milk/protein/banana smoothie for breakfast, peanut butter/berry wrap snack, chicken/basmati/broc/green beans/nando's sauce for lunch, yoghurt with berries/nuts/zero cal flavour drops PM snack, dinner is lunch repeated but with salmon sometimes, and an additional fresh tomato sauce concoction, plus a big salad. Evening snack is protein rice pudding made from excess basmati cooked at the weekend, almond milk and protein. 2072cals and great macro balance. I increase/decrease cals by adding/removing carbs.

I tried my own twist on the cheesy pasta tuna recipe and it turned out better than I thought! I’m glad he mentioned that it is very versatile and you can fit it into your macros however you see fit for your fitness goals! I used lentil pasta for extra protein but I was also able to fit that in my daily macro range. What I did def makes the dish carb heavy so just a heads up if you are trying not to go over a certain amount of carbs. Do what’s best for you!

This way when I get home my macros and calories are the same every weekday which keeps things simple. I tweak based on my current goal. Works for me but you have to add things you like.

Great vid! Great content! But i wouldnt recommend anyone to follow 2k cal per day. You can literally be eating at 2700 calories and still be dropping body fat... which is my case . Love the food ideas though! But when you say "healthy fats" i think it throws off ppl and start to think certain fat is better than other fat. which is not the case, sure they are diff in a way buuuut esentially for your macros to loose bf and gain muscle mass, you can get your fats from anywhere/any other foods. Same with protein and carbs. :)
