Great that you’re showing this option as many don’t realise there are a number of ways to work your way into yacht ownership. I think this is a very good first step. Well done for working with Princess to bring awareness of this option. Beautiful boat and amazing use of 64ft!

Just started watching your videos the last few days and absolutely loving it. The title really got me built up for a let down. I thought since it was a bit older the price was real and got me slightly realistically dreaming.
Oh my gosh, I had no idea there were that many usage or ownership options. Boating life can be similar to owning a timeshare condo in the US. Thank you again for the detail.
Love the video. Great looking boat that's not dated in 8 years. Sold it to me in fact......all I need now is about £150,000 in my piggy bank plus a spare £20,000 hanging each and every year!
I thought this was a good buy until I heard that the price was just a 1/8th interest in use which may be a good buy for those who want that kind of a deal. But I am looking for something to live on long term. Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful yacht but I may have to look at something smaller which would cost a bit less in mooring cost also.
When i was a wee lad my uncle,my fathers brother used to say " LIFE IS GOOD,ISNT IT ! I used to think- who doesnt think its better than death, duh. Now, that's an interesting concept. You don't have to worry about maintenance, winter storage (and storage security), port fees etc. Just fill it up, enjoy and when done, go home. It's a good way to get your feet wet (no pun intended) for boat ownership.
Great tour of a boat at least I can consider as a possible buy rather than just wishing! I can really recommend shared ownership as I am in a similar scheme on a canal boat in the UK. Same principle however numbers a little smaller.
Beautiful boat, I much prefer that layout to the galley aft, the finish is superb. Big fan of the gloss finish too. Great tour as always, living the dream vicariously through your tours.
What a beautiful Yacht. Also an unbelievable value. I have never seen a boat with this great value in the US in this magnificent well kept shape. Cheers.
Wow, great boat! That layout is an amazing use of space. I usually hate modern styling, but this looks great with those white leather sofas. I'll have to look at more Princess models now. The shared ownership is a great idea too. Could be ideal for older folks who can't keep it up on their own but have time to travel.
I almost put my house up for sale when I saw the title 🤝 then I saw the boat and realised lol!! I hope princess are paying for your flights because you must be drumming up business for them. Great vid cheers Nick 👍🏻
I do like the Princess range of boats and have done for many years. Great content as always! Loved the charter series by the way. Keep up the good work Nick.
Are you able to meet with the other owners who have a share in the boat and if people get along then why not have the boat for 8 weeks in a year with both of them sharing
I love your admission at the end... I, too, have had worse days. I was invited out on a Hatteras 62 sport last year, shear chance, in La Ventana. I have been all over. Love the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado. However, I now dream of the sea, and my own small yacht. I now want to make it happen. Thank you, kind sir, for the inspiration. at 62, I think I can make it happen. God bless ...
Nice boat. My limited understanding of shared ownership, based on word of mouth, is that nobody wants to use it in the winter and every share holder wants it for the summer holidays so the disadvantage is that you rarely get access to it when you ideally want to. Therefore chartering is better from that perspective.
As ever, it's in the details. I didn't want to go into every aspect, but I think that you are entitled to choose certain times of the year to keep it fair. Have a look on the Yacht Quarters website.
RomeoIndiaCharlie The season in the Balearics is a decent length. Lots of people would prefer the weeks before and after the main school holiday season. Not quite as hot and far far less crowded.
For a 10 year old yacht, that is brilliant. Almost same spec as an F70. Interesting ownership deal and gives people a chance to use a great yacht at an affordable price. Thanks Nick ! 😊
AQUAHOLIC If it does catch on I could see people who have the means to own a boat outright choosing to have shares in boats in different parts of the world, June in Greek Islands, September in Balearics, February in the West Indies etc etc.

Great video Nick. Very nice yacht. Seen this type of sharing the boat but with large superyachts. Keep the videos coming. Can see the difference in you before and after your mini vacation. You look more relaxed.
The fuel tanks are also well insulated which stops them acting as resonance chambers at speed and deafening you. Although frankly I like loud, fast machines! For the 150k plus 20k a year you could own a 25 footer outright but this is a whole different ballgame. I'd be tempted. I wonder how many different yachts they have in the scheme.
Absolutely love this channel, I will probably never get the chance to get on a yacht like this one or one of those super yachts either. The trip you took with your family recently looked truly wonderful. I will keep dreaming, take care buddy.....
Nice one Nick, thank you. Another enthusiastic and honest walkabout. I just need to find £170k while sitting at home twiddling my thumbs...that being said it seems very good value compared to other options out there :)

Excellent boat and video , well you are the best person to tell us how it compares with the one you had your holiday, regarding the price with this sort of money you can buy a boat an older boat and have the same expenses minus the crew.
@@AQUAHOLIC yes Nick but if you are a true boater you will learn to do lots of things your self , i wish I could afford a Defever 53 , the v.i.p cabin is excellent. Just my opinion. The boaters i know do a lot of stuff for their boats
As I said in the video, this isn't for everyone and if you are a 'hands on' boater, it probably isn't for you. But many people have neither the time nor inclination to boat regularly or look after it, and for them this could work very well.
This is marvellous a kind of time share for boats. A unique an quality way to spend spare cash (if you have a spare 150k). Need more in my china piggybank !!
I've really started getting into boats since watching your channel. I might be able to stretch to a dinghy . Nice channel Nick, and you seem like a very nice guy
If you have to money to buy it, you have the money to burn the fuel that is needed for keeping everything going. Also it's not a lot of space for panels and the open sea is way to harsh of a environment for solar panels.
Excellent presentation I never thought about like some others fractional or share ownership like there is with a private Jet service price ok will look at your yachts for larger ones.
That's nice everything's labeled down in the engine room and help you a lot if you are a first-time outer on the ocean I'm not but it would help out a lot of people that don't know a lot about engines to help them if they are in trouble out there
I actually like the idea of partial ownership. It takes the Hugh responsibility of upkeep off of you and the time that you actually use it can be spent on truly enjoying your time rather than on all the boating upkeep needs.
If we say you get half your purchase cost back after 4 years, that's 75k + 80k running cost = 155k / 16 weeks = 9.7k per week. Have 6 friends chip in 1k per week each, that's 3.7k yourself per week for a great trip with friends!
I'm not sure about spending well over $150,000 for four weeks a year...you could just pony up for a little more and get a slightly older but still fantastic boat all for yourself. This was an excellent tour though, I like your style!
"you could just pony up for a little more and get a slightly older but still fantastic boat all for yourself" - you somehow forgot SMALLER in your sentence ;-)
AQUAHOLIC Thanks for these fantastic videos! Question: what would be the typical resale value of your ⅛? You pay $150k, after the 4 years, how much would you typically get back? For other viewers: 4 weeks a year = 28 days @ $20k = $714/day.
Out of all your videos, I think this one contains my favourite "hello me" moment. At 3:08 you look into the mirror and raise your eyebrows and smile. You don't say anything, but you don't need to :D
Every video of yours is my new favorite! But really this one is great. Nice little edit at the end making me jealous on taking it out for a spin. Thank you for all you share with us.
I'm trying to catch up on your videos. I love this yacht. Not sure why there's a crew quarters on a 64. Ok I kind of do, less work and more fun with guests, but it's an owner/operator size, nice touch though. Was wondering if any of the yachts have central vacuum systems? My 41 had one and they are fantastic. I don't think I could have another without it. Awesome tour Nick.
It's both owner-operator sized but also charter sized. It's not really for someone to captain the boat for you, not on a long term basis, but it's certainly of the right size a couple (a captain, and his wife doing catering and cleaning and other helping) to crew it for families who holiday. See Nicks very own "we chartered a Princess" set of videos.
don't know anything about yachts, don't have the money to buy one and have never been interested in buying a boat, yet I've been watching several of Aquaholic's videos today. Why? Because I can.

Here i sit with my ramen noodles in my hands thinking „woah thats cheap“
Best part of these videos I find are the hidden crew cabins👌🏻
This is marvellous a kind of time share for boats. A unique an quality way to spend spare cash (if you have a spare 150k). Need more in my china piggybank !!
this is most idiotic time share i ever heard of. not to mention season runs for 3 months in mallorca. People baffle me
When our man says let’s have a look at the crew area I was thinking where is that then...lol. It’s like the tardis. Haha.
Like the idea of shared ownership
I've really started getting into boats since watching your channel. I might be able to stretch to a dinghy . Nice channel Nick, and you seem like a very nice guy
Thank yiu :) Get the dinghy, it's how I started and they all float on the same stuff!
Great content as always! I wonder why companies like Princess, Sunnseeker etc don't use solar panels on their yachts?
If you have to money to buy it, you have the money to burn the fuel that is needed for keeping everything going. Also it's not a lot of space for panels and the open sea is way to harsh of a environment for solar panels.
Amazing place 4 room+ 2 bed for skippers it is the type of configuration that i love
Excellent presentation I never thought about like some others fractional or share ownership like there is with a private Jet service price ok will look at your yachts for larger ones.
*opens glovebox* "Here we have a glovebox area" haha I love your tours so much xD
Will you be making the socks available for purchase? :)
Haha, maybe! :D
@Bob Dobalina LOL the only thing in the video I could afford to buy ;-)
Was looking for this comment. I want some, too! Please and thank you. ;)
Yachting socks!
That's nice everything's labeled down in the engine room and help you a lot if you are a first-time outer on the ocean I'm not but it would help out a lot of people that don't know a lot about engines to help them if they are in trouble out there
I love the way we can learn everything about a yacht with yours videos, are perfect!!👌
Glad you like them!
This is my favorite boat out of all the boats hes ever reviewed
Honestly, this channel has pretty much replaced Netflix for me. Keep up the 5 star work!
"you could just pony up for a little more and get a slightly older but still fantastic boat all for yourself" - you somehow forgot SMALLER in your sentence ;-)
... OR you have a wider definition of 'slightly' than I do :-D
Just spotted the socks! Nice touch!
Better work than most brokers, you’ve sold me!
Always appreciate the crew quarters tour!!!
AQUAHOLIC Thanks for these fantastic videos! Question: what would be the typical resale value of your ⅛? You pay $150k, after the 4 years, how much would you typically get back? For other viewers: 4 weeks a year = 28 days @ $20k = $714/day.
I believe if i save my money, in the next 10 years, i can charter this yacht
The most perfect boat I've ever seen..would live on that.
Yes, that third bedroom is nice to step down.
I cannot even afford that beautiful yachts tender ,but still appreciate the beauty of her great content ❤
Out of all your videos, I think this one contains my favourite "hello me" moment. At 3:08 you look into the mirror and raise your eyebrows and smile. You don't say anything, but you don't need to :D
There's another one coming today..! :D
Is possibile as well rent for 2weeks in summer? Thanks a lot ... Adriano
Not this boat but there are others. Check out my Ultimate Charter videos for a boat you can do this with.
@@AQUAHOLIC thanks 👍
How do they decide when the owners can book the ship if more than one wants to use it on the same dates?
i guess negotiate or first come first serve
A flintlock pistol duel at dawn is traditional.
Steven Childs ...and sometimes unavoidable 😂
Every video of yours is my new favorite! But really this one is great. Nice little edit at the end making me jealous on taking it out for a spin. Thank you for all you share with us.
I'm trying to catch up on your videos. I love this yacht. Not sure why there's a crew quarters on a 64. Ok I kind of do, less work and more fun with guests, but it's an owner/operator size, nice touch though. Was wondering if any of the yachts have central vacuum systems? My 41 had one and they are fantastic. I don't think I could have another without it. Awesome tour Nick.
I hope that this is not the only area of access for the crew...
@@supermaple1919 well where else are they going to go, sleep in the guest cabins?
It's both owner-operator sized but also charter sized. It's not really for someone to captain the boat for you, not on a long term basis, but it's certainly of the right size a couple (a captain, and his wife doing catering and cleaning and other helping) to crew it for families who holiday. See Nicks very own "we chartered a Princess" set of videos.
don't know anything about yachts, don't have the money to buy one and have never been interested in buying a boat, yet I've been watching several of Aquaholic's videos today. Why? Because I can.
Welcome aboard! :)
