It's crazy how up to date this looks despite being a decade old. Some boats even 5 or 6 year old have looked more dated. I think the matte wood finish has helped it age very gracefully. Excellent tour as always Nick. Love a good Princess.
It helps it's a Princess, absolutely classic lines, classic designs. Fashion changes seasonally, _style_ is timeless.
Idk boats really haven’t changed style much since 2000. Same with cars, that’s why since about 2004/2005 all cars then still look up to date if we’ll maintained.

I love the Princess boats and when Nick starts the video with saying "We got some time, full tour on this one" I know I have to pause and go make myself a cup of coffee to settle in watch this properly. Amazing boat and fantastic video !

Well I can asure you in that case the experience of just the feeling cruising fast is tremendous considering going that fast in reality will probably cost like € 550,00/650,00 per hour. So from Portals Nous to Ciutadella de Menorca ca € 5000,00 for the ride roundtrip.
So when taking in fuell just say: My name is Bond, James Bond, pls send the bill to M.
I'm pretty sure if you're buying a boat for 730,000 your not really going to care about fuel costs...

Jayden Jirka: Having watched dozens of yacht tours conducted by individuals who's names or positions I can't remember, I wholeheartedly concur. Hands down, Nick is the absolute best. IMHO, no one even comes in a close second.
Sorry no gold stars for information regarding the helm...perhaps he needs to read the manuals and give us a full description of the helm operation and nav gear.
10 years old and still looks great. Nice to see how something looks after actually being used . Always wondered how these large boats held up after usage and maintenance. Although the design does date the boat, it is still is very functional. Nice job my friend.

Hard to believe she is 10 years old. Looks spotless and still up to date. One of the best things about an AQUAHOLIC tour is you show the crew quarters and entire engine area, or as you say it “the lot”. Bravo!!!

The interiors haven't changed that much in the new boats, it's really just little things like the small eyeliptical porthole windows and the TV's will be 32" not 65". Just shows how well they built them 10 years ago.
I have to say i disagree, despite it being a 62ft the use of space one this and many of the older boats is pretty terrible IMO. Having 2 seating areas on the main deck whilst using up cabin space to have the galley/ eating area on the lower deck isnt how id want my imaginary yacht to be and i much prefer the layout of boats similar to the newer Galeons with main deck galleys
@@airsofter2247 You have missed the point of this layout. The guys can lounge around in the deck saloon talking boats and drinking beer from cans without getting cross looks from the ladies. While they congregate down in the galley area sipping wine and telling each other how useless we are.

I often come back to watch this tour again & again... such an amazing boat that oozes Princess quality & just look how ENORMOUS it is, I love it!!! The fact it still looks like a new boat despite being over a decade old just shows how visionary Princess are! 👋🏻
I dont think that i would be able to tell that it was from 2010 unless i was told so.
Save a hell of a lot over a new boat. All you lose is huge hull windows and a galley aft.
The lack of a helm side door is a bit dim though. It's a long walk out the back and round the side of you're mooring on your own.

Proper "Speed Boat" with a Yacht interior. Bit like a Fabergé Egg. And, it looks factory fresh as well. Easy to imagine planing across an open bay on a sunny day. Someone will be getting a very fine boat that still has loads of fun to deliver.

Princess was one of the last who used the big one piece window's but than they used much bigger ones than all others.

Ever the Miami Vice fan :) Interior isn't dated which is a risk in yachting. It's a nice big boat although I personally prefer a fly for the real estate.
I once bought dextrose in a clear 1kg plastic bag. Looks the part completely. Imagine filling the garage with tons and going as fast as possible from the Caribbean to Florida :)
If you really like the boat, I can't recommend fractional ownership enough. I bought 1/8 of a plane. Looking at the booking months ahead, not an hour reserved. All free. And it's summer holidays. A well off family might use the boat 1 week per year, some years even not at all. Say the med summer is 5 months or 22 weeks, that's a minimum of 2.7 weeks per 8 owners in the main season and more off. Average use might be less than 1 week per owner which leaves plenty of latitude for someone with an addiction, high on dextrose :) and with your public position it might be easy to find quality owners which is of course important. Could be berthed in Marbella next to Jon Olsson's father in law's boat :) I figure a big part of the experience is a nice looking marina with restaurants. Location location location.

The enthusiasm he has towards boats is captivating, I hope one day he gets his dream boat.
I Love Princess specially V- Class, lines are so sport-casuals, materials and fornitures amazing, Engine realable.
But there are few points missing.
Missing en-suite in the master cabin? there is only one WC in the all Boat... (excluding the crew cabin)
no direct acces in the to power supply area, only through the engin room. Have you ever try to fix a problem during a cruise?

8:50 why that bed is so high up? head seems to touch the ceiling once on pillow...it seems there's enough space to lower it down without compromising the bed underneath...very strange
This boat would be my choice. A beautiful sized boat. Yes £730,000 is a huge amount of money but compared to some it’s not over the top. A manageable size to handle and enjoy.
Meanwhile this video I watched over 5 times. If I had 1 mm euro to spend for buying a boat it would be this one. Adding if possible a seakeeper and a jetski on the transom and a new design steering wheel and some instrument upgrading. Adding up in my ideal boat.
Often going about 15-20 knots p.hour to not empty the daily budget to fast : )

If I am heading to Monaco from Southampton with four people on board the mini fridge and that fridge-freezer wouldn’t accommodate enough food even for two days and I say that through experience I don’t understand why on such a relatively big boat the galley has been made so poorly, you have nothing to do on the boat except entertaining yourself and your companions with eating and drinking cold drinks until you reach your destination to refill, I am afraid that on such boats you have to drink lukewarm waters in intense heat and starve until you get to your destination.

Wow, thats a really nice boat. I didnt notice any ketchup in the fridge but for my nearly 800k, does all the booze come with it? It seemed there was possibly a fair bit on board. Thats definately a sell up and live aboard in some med marina somewhere!

I'm not all that keen on the 'V' boats to be honest. i much prefer the flybridge versions with their usually bigger saloons. I do like the lower kitchens and little dining area though on them. But I have to say I really like this one. Maybe its because the 62 feet makes it feel spacious down below. Maybe its time to raid the piggy bank!

Highly appreciative of taking time to examine the garage & tender. I've had a gander at the Williams tenders, my word they're mini powerhouses in their own right. 40+ knots. Can have full kit of radio, sat nav, sonar, music, lights deck and sea, the jet means no exposed blades so safer round younglings; the 280 is the same beast (same engine, same options, same fuel capacity) but a bit smaller with one fewer seats (3 guests instead of 4 guests) so that would take you, the wife, a couple more (2 kids or 2 adults) so that's an ideal size for some shaving an entire foot from the length. Lovely wee monsters in their own right.
I might be late...but I wold like to know if this same V62 still for sale?

Again with the reasonable and sensible boating options, nothing is missing. Everything you need and alot of what you want, a floating mega caravan with a monster power pack.
I like it alot, a whole heap of sensible WITH a dash of insanity, cool on steroids, Miami Vice cool.

I have a question. Does the most of yachts have a climate system. So in the summer it is not to hot in the interior of the yacht?
Depends where they are - very rarely needed in the UK as sat in cool water. Boats of this calibre normally do anyway.
