Robinhood Coins reached out to me and wanted to have a Nickel Box Challenge to see if Bank Boxes from a Smaller City were better than Bank Boxes in a Larger City - In this series, we are pitting Waco vs Dallas. He sent me 3 boxes to go against three of my own and we agreed upon a scoring sheet to make it as fun and as fair as possible. There will be a winner determined after each box and then a winner for the 3 Box total! Robinhood Coins has also decided to make this challenge a bit more fun as he has added in some special GAWs after each box! I Live in a Small Town and Wondered Myself if the Bigger City's Actually Have an Advantage over the Small with the Large Turnover of Coins or if the Smaller Towns could have Older Coins because they just recycle the same or slower going through coins. I'm Happy to See Someone doing This Kind of Challenge. Thank you Robinhood Coins.
Thanks to both of you for doing this challenge! Robinhood Coins...I didn't even know you existed until now, but I'm subscribed now!!! I look forward to watching your videos and learning/sharing knowledge with you and everyone on your subscription list!! Good luck guys!
Rob, I love the heart, energy, and passion you have searching rolls. My hometown has a population of only 2500 people, and the local owned banks are terrible when it comes to coins. My bank is 30 miles away and is a Wells Fargo, which always has goodies in any box. Appreciate so much the service you do for all of us in the coin community. Awesome box battle video. 😎💰
Just found a nice 1925 s buffalo last week roll hunting! First coin where I could actually read the date, and it's in very good condition. Thinking about getting it graded, it's very nice. Love your videos.
Another great coin roll hunt! I have to admit I'm rooting for the small city boxes, though it's not small compared to my 10k population Wisconsin town. However, I once visited Waco so that's reason enough to cheer them on!
Rob, I have a beginner's question. The teller today said they had received a massive collection dump but the branch didnt have the coins, she said they got "sent out." What does that mean? Did they ship the coins to a larger branch? Thanks
I love watching your coin unboxing videos. It's always cool to see what coins you find while unwrapping each roll of coins. The only old coin that I have is a 1944 Mercury dime that I found while metal detecting my neighborhood park. I'm actually sending the Mercury dime to my husband's uncle in Seattle and would love any older coins to send along to him as well. Please consider me for the giveaway. I'd be super excited to be able to gift more than one coin to my uncle-in-law. Thanks!
That may be fine Rob, but I live in Charleston, WV and I have a TERRIBLE time trying to find rolls in banks here!!! In small cities like mine, are there other places to look for outside of banks? Thanks!
I like they way he has laid out the give away. And he now gets new subs! I never have seen robinhood's videos and I've searchered a ton of coin videos. I'm now subbed to him and glad to have more knowledge from another person. Thank you both for expanding the hobby.
Good to see you win a round :D But I'm always so intrigued by the size difference in the world. You speak of small towns with 130+ thousand people... I live in a fairly large city in Sweden and our municipal area "only" has 68000 people in it... Right next to Swedens second largest city with some 500000 people... My hometown wasn't that large... 6000 in the main town and 10000 in the whole municipal. Now THAT is small Rob ;)
Nice video! It's always awesome to find a buffalo in a box. Also, cant get enough of the proofs! Thanks Robinhood coins for the chance. Same to you,Rob. :)
Really enjoy these challenge videos!! I need to start hunting boxes just haven't opened a local bank account yet. I'm in an even smaller town in Texas down on the border.
Great nickle box hunt, I get the feeling Waco may win the challenge. There is some "goodies" hiding Waco box 2/3. Great video 👍 I love me some nickles.
You know what would be cool? A country wide battle. Maybe you can set up a website where we can upload our general location and bank box score so we can keep track of where has the best boxes.
This was an awesome video! Me and my sister were watching and she really thought you were an amazing TH-camr! Thx for all the hard work you put in your videos to make your content amazing! Also nice buffalo nickel find!
This is an awesome video idea been wondering this myself if I should grab some boxes from my hometown joplin mo pop. of around 30k and then some from Springfield mo pop. Of 167k and see if there is a difference
I did a nickel box battle with my son today for his birthday. Found quite a few 40s & 50s nickels, but the best finds were a 50 centavos coin from Mexico, a plastic play money nickel (!?), and a 1908 V nickel in Good. Even though the 1908 was in my box, I let my son have it as an extra birthday present.
LOL I got 2 rolls of nickels today, before work (I know, I'm a big coin hunter LOL), and just pulled out 3 1964's in a row just as you pulled out the 1964.
@@twinstreasures7742 lucky dawg, I love a small town people are nicer and every one knows each other, may not be hereat though if everyone know your a prepper and they are not,
I am whoever or whatever I say iam ya, it's good to see mostly smiling faces and to know that 70% of the people around know and respect me. But in smaller towns there's always gonna be some people that you really hate and that really hate you, it's just the way it is. This can lead to long time family-feudes, and trust me; I've heard of some pretty bad ones! Since moving to the country 8 years ago from Toronto I can officially say that my mental and physical health has improved emensely. And trust me, I have no plans on moving back anytime soon! 🏡🐎🚜
What a fun comparison. I can’t wait to see the findings. My brother in law has similar ideas about small towns and always buys Lotto tickets when he is in a small Texas town, he says small towns have luck! Happy hunting 😀
Makes me want to buy some nickel boxes myself but ughhh getting rid of them. I'm suscribed to both of you guys hope I'm the lucky one! Can't wait to see the rest of this challenge.

First round was totally backwards from what I expected! Can't wait to see the best two vids.
Where do you get those coin hunt sheets that you have on your table
Rob, What kind of microscope do you use? Can you also explain any special settings or light set up? Thanks man! You rock!!!!
It’s a sweet setup

Great new Battle Series. Dallas will take down Waco 2-1. Good luck Robinhood Coins and thanks for the GAWS.
Glad to see the buffalo, that's the first one my daughters have seen from a box because we haven't found one yet. We all loved the video, thank you!
Robinhood Coins anytime brother - we may have to make it a 6 Box series to be certain... maybe get 3 more in a few weeks from an even smaller town?
Pretty good " Nickel Battle " so far.
Good to see you win a round :D

Thank you Rob and Robinhood Coins! Your videos are amazing!
Pretty surprising results really. I would think smaller towns would mean fewer people picking goodies out of circulation.
Rusty T me too brother - but only 1 box in.
Always great videos and finds! Thank you both for everything and all to come! Did my first penny box hunt today to kick off my collection!
Great hunt! Buffalo in the box, there's no way you could have lost. Congrats Rob.
Under 1 million squad
LOL - Thanks brother!
I love you show, I use to do nickels, but stopped a while back, but seeing you, I got to get me some nickel box tomorrow !
i love the bank box battles and other coin roll hunting challenges, BTW do you sell your silver bars?
I do, but I am sold out right now.
@@RobFindsTreasure ok, thanks rob :)

Thank you Robin Hood, and RFT. Hope each town comes up with some great finds!!!!
Awesome buffalo and cool proof!!
Really enjoy these challenge videos!! I need to start hunting boxes just haven't opened a local bank account yet. I'm in an even smaller town in Texas down on the border.
Great Box. Thanks for the GAWs.
This is really going to grow Robinhood's channel!
Just got caught up with this after part 2 came out, can't wait for #3
This should be interesting. I am excited to learn more about nickles!
Great idea from Robinhood coins, this will be a very interesting series to follow. Thank you both for the entertaining videos.
Battle boxes are fun! Good luck to both of you!
The bank box battles are great I love this series
I think we need a larger sample size in order to make any conclusions, but this is still fun!!
Robert Schimpf Agreed - we may do a 2nd round of 3 boxes to add to it.
Great nickle box hunt, I get the feeling Waco may win the challenge. There is some "goodies" hiding Waco box 2/3. Great video 👍 I love me some nickles.
Great idea with the box battles, keeps the hobby interesting!
I like this challenge. Good job Robinhood for setting it up.
Love watching these! I'm an amateur coin collector and watching your videos give me a lot of information! Keep up the great content!
You know what would be cool? A country wide battle. Maybe you can set up a website where we can upload our general location and bank box score so we can keep track of where has the best boxes.
Spacenerd Now that’s an awesome idea!!!
Go Rob! And thank you Robinhood coins for the giveaway!
This was an awesome video! Me and my sister were watching and she really thought you were an amazing TH-camr! Thx for all the hard work you put in your videos to make your content amazing! Also nice buffalo nickel find!
I love watching these competitions!! Any secrets on what boxes yield more than others?
Love the battle of the bank boxes!
good idea to see which boxes are better!
Very good finds on both big and small cities! Big was the obvious winner before you did the tally. But there's 2 more to go!!
Have a GREAT Day!!
started coin roll hunting and stacking silver, from your videos!! Keep up the great work
This is an awesome video idea been wondering this myself if I should grab some boxes from my hometown joplin mo pop. of around 30k and then some from Springfield mo pop. Of 167k and see if there is a difference
Elijah Mayhan is do it!!!
That was cool RFT cant wait for the second round very excited about the outcomes of all the box's
I did a nickel box battle with my son today for his birthday. Found quite a few 40s & 50s nickels, but the best finds were a 50 centavos coin from Mexico, a plastic play money nickel (!?), and a 1908 V nickel in Good. JAMES BEST I’m dying to find a V Nickel again
I love this idea of the small cities vs. big cities, really gets me thinking. Great Idea of you guys! Thanks for the chance to win
I love the type of videos Rob I myself got interested in coin roll hunting because of these amazing type videos keep up the good work
Some nice finds! Love the proof!
Good luck everyone! Thanks Rob and Robinhood Coins!
Great video idea
Definitely looking forward to this challenge series. Go small city!!!
These bank challenges are fun to watch
Nice of him to do and GL to the winners!
WOW. Just started watching and I don't have a favorite "horse" in this race. There are pro's and con's to Big city/Small town. WOW.
Rob are the Canadian coin mats going to be on your website or not
Bros Gaming yes. Mid week next week!
LOL I got 2 rolls of nickels today, before work (I know, I'm a big coin hunter LOL), and just pulled out 3 1964's in a row just as you pulled out the 1964.
Dang I thought this was a old series. Hoping to watch the rest. Guess I'll just enter the drawing then lmao
Sweet, another coin challenge. I really enjoy these kinds of videos!!
I wouldn’t consider Waco a small town but it sure is smaller than Dallas
Agreed.
Compared to my one horse town we call them city folk,my town I think is 6,000 when I move here as a child it was 2145 miss it being that small

Great big city box. Small city has a ways to come back.
I love watching these videos. Thanks RFT and Robin Hood!
Brilliant, this will be a very interesting battle.
Nobody cares about their change in the big city....
I found a 1910 penny in my change in St.Louis!
This makes me think to go from my small town to go to the next big city, but I will wait on the 3rd box competition.
Sounds good. Thanks for all the fun videos.
It's cool that they find different coins... it's beyond rare to find unique coins in Belize
What a fun comparison. I can’t wait to see the findings. My brother in law has similar ideas about small towns and always buys Lotto tickets when he is in a small Texas town, he says small towns have luck! Happy hunting 😀
Wow really amazing Nickels Coins Challenges video!!! :D
Loving the challenge videos. They have got me interested in coin hunting again
Great way to support new channels. Good luck all.
This looks really awesome, can't wait to see which city wins.
Let the fun begin! 🤙🏼😎

Awesome finds there. I can't wait to start nickel hunting. I'm working just on pennies at the moment.
Awesome boxes, I love to CRH when I can. Not seeing any error coins....
Nice finds Rob, a dated buffalo and it was interesting to find that Costa Rican coin as well.
Awesome challenge can't wait to see which town wins.
