Let's hunt for some Silver Nickels and some more Buffalo Nickels! I continue to have my fair share of luck finding Buffalo Nickels during my nickel hunts. In this video, I actually ended up finding a Buffalo Nickel Ender and that made me super excited to see what other goodies were in these two boxes! That being said, we've noticed a significant decline in the amount of silver nickels we're finding and so I am definitely hoping to see a few in these boxes (or at least one! LOL). We'll be hunting these boxes of nickels for Silver, Buffalo Nickels, Proof coins, Old Jefferson Nickels, V Nickels and 2009's for their low mintage. We found several nice Early Jefferson Nickels in this two bank box hunt so let's keep our fingers crossed and our eyes open for some goodies! Keep hunting and good luck! They're still out there for us to find! @@dguy0386 I'm surprised a vending machine would even take a silver dime to have it given back as change to someone else. I would think the machine would reject it.
I was just hitting up my local bank branch 10 rolls at a time to fill in my collection. I had to fill most of it from 1985 or so onward, plus some '38 to '71. Long story short, after about 75 rolls, I got all the 2003-2005 variants, filled in the 60's and 70's, found a few silver war nickels (some duplicate), but no 1938's (I need D & S), no 1950-D (no surprise), and strangely, not a single 2009. Those things are like hen's teeth. They finally cut me off, so the hunt is at an end for now.
7:56 I have a quarter a few years off from being silver that has that same look to it but only on the back, I refused to roll it because it just looks cool lol
What a great hunt! Thanks for consistently posting so many videos. I'm living abroad for a few years for school and miss hunting coins (Norway clears out their old currency when they introduce new making hunting blah, although in circulation you can occasionally find Syrian coins because they're so similar in weight and size they fool coin machines.) Your videos help scratch the hunting itch until I'm back stateside!
great buffalo ender and to answer your question yes I have got a V nickel ender, and you know that 1984d nickel could be a proof error maybe I don't it just came to my mind
I’m hunting a box of nickels right now, I found 3 war nickels so far. Oldest nickel is a 1940, but I still have 33 rolls to go. Thanks for getting me into coin hunting!
I watched one of your nickel hunting videos where you found two 1917 buffalo nickels, and the very next day at work...I found a 1917 buffalo nickel in pretty good condition. What a coincidence!
Great hunt. Buffalo and silver heck yea. BTW, the teller at my bank knows I coin roll hunt. He told me he has some rolls of UNC 2005 buffalo nickels. They've been sitting in their vault for years. I took everything he had. $170 in UNC 2005 buffalo nickels.😁😁
I get those all the time from a local bank.. Believe they ar Brinks. Been finding lots of goodies for 2-3 months now, 30 plus coins each box plus V buffalos and war times
Nice hunt finally got some silver nickels, they were both in the 3rd roll of each box. Silver and buffalos it would have been nice if there was some key dates, that would have topped it off nice.
Rob I think that 1939 is actually a 1939S. I just got a box of nickels and it had a 1939 Ender. I have not gone through it yet I am waiting to start my TH-cam channel so I can open it then.
I just had my best nickel box ever!! I got a silver 45-s, a 1935-D and 1936 Buffalo!! But wait for it.........1910 Liberty!!! I was running around my house after I pulled that lol. What a box it was.
Cool finds. Got a quick question for you Rob: where do bring back the loose discard coins? Presumably, you have a bank with a coin machine, but around me there are none that are free. Any tips?
Love to see buffalos and of course silver war nickels!! I know you have a list of coins with errors already found, but what about the other coins! Do you search those before returning them to the bank?? With the amount of coins you go through you could be one of those people that find an error first, then you could retire with a possible huge payday!!! Have a GREAT Day!!!!
If I posted less and hunted EVERY coin then I would be able to do that. I have often thought about just looking at every coin from every box but deemed it not worth the ROI in the long run.
@@RobFindsTreasure Awesome deal Rob 👍. I wouldn't want you to accidentally putting away a key/semi-key date coin away. Thanks for acknowledging this comment.
It seems like Chicago-area Brinks facilities have upgraded machines - they have different wrappers and are programmed to spit out silver. I've tried over 10 boxes (some halves, quarters, nickels, and dimes) and have yet to find a single foreign or silver coin. My Loomis boxes, on the other hand, are great. However, it seems like your Brinks rolls come from somewhere else.
How would I find the value of a birth date bill? Its a 5 with valentines day from 1942. 04121942. Ive recently joined your subs and I was explaining the serial game you were teaching a few vids back. She handed me what she had in her purse and 3rd bill in. Thanks for whatever help you might have, sir.

RobFindsTreasure lol I’ve only found 2 silver dimes in circulation outside of roll searching
Happens to me all the time with quarters
i got a 1955 D as change from a vending machine. in pretty good shape even!

Can't get mad at that anytime you look in the box and see good ol' Chief Iron Tail on the end! Thanks for the upload, and another great hunt.
That nickel flip to check the reverse is one of the classiest moves in collecting

Awesome finds. I'll be picking up a few boxes next week to search myself.
Nice hunt nickels my favorite to hunt!
Good stuff brother. COINGRATS
Thanks brother!
Nice finds rob! I actually found a 1920 buffalo with a clear date here in Newfoundland, couldn't believe it!

Enjoyed the hunt and the finds RFT!
Great nickel hunt. Thanks for sharing.
my thoughts on the 1984 is that it was from a mint set. Aren't mint sets double struck?
It could be that too Ben. They are at least first strikes when the dies are fresh.
I would take those boxes any day Rob💥💥💥💥💥 Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Buffalo's and silver can't complain about that!!
Hahaha omg! Of course one of the good 5 cent shiners you pull is literally the one I'm missing in my book 🤣👍 1984 D... cool find
Glad that you found two Buffalo's and two silver war nickels.
great buffalo ender and to answer your question yes I have got a V nickel ender, and you know that 1984d nickel could be a proof error maybe I don't it just came to my mind

Do EYE see a buffalo ender? Whoa!
I found a 2008 P coin roll hunting and I got checked out at the pawn shop and they said it's 5 full steps with toning
Nice finds! That last Silver was difficult to see based on edge.

Nice - only thing better would have been UNC 2009's!
What buffalo ender what a find if I saw that I wouldn’t be able to wait
Awesom 1919 buffalo!!
Those wrappers are standard for me.
I found a 1950-D in my grandpa's container of coins older than 1970 and I am still so happy about it!
Very nice!
Got to love silver and a Buffalo after 4 rolls! Nice 84, more silver and buffalos?! Great boxes!
Awesome finds as always.
Some nice finds! Congrats!
Good hunt
Just found a silver quarter in the register at work today!💰

Always great to find siver nickles rob making up for the skunk stream Friday lol love the video happy hinting my friend

I found a 2919 American Memorial W quarter on the floor in Biology
Where do you find the coin mats that u use they have a lot of quick find info
I just hunted a box of nickels that had 2 silver war nickels in it. The box I hunted before that one had a 1939 S Jefferson nickel.
I do look for the 1946 s ddo, just never found a 1946 S at all
I think that 1984 d might be an uncirculated set nickel, because they do have satin finishes which could have a pl finish
Great finds Rob!
Awesome Brother! Commenting Before Watching, Can't Wait!
I've found several weird prooflike coins recently. The ones I find have also been thicker, and proofs are thick.
Nice hunt finally got some silver nickels, they were both in the 3rd roll of each box. Silver and buffalos it would have been nice if there was some key dates, that would have topped it off nice.

it did look like it when I edited the video for sure. I might get it out of the roll and see if it is.
Awesome Video Rob!
Great stuff Rob!
Never found a Buffalo before! (Unless the 2005 ones count 😂) Cool find.
2005. I haven't seen any 2009's yet, and I plowed through about 75 rolls.
@@IanMalcolm-rw5pn whoops. thanks haha

Hey rob you should make a collection video showing off your best coins
Was that 1919 buff a 2 feather or just dark?
Hey, Rob is that 1919 the two feathers variety? Can’t tell for sure from video, but I don’t see third feather....
Is it possible that the shiney 1984d was struck on a proof planchet?
Possible - it's odd for sure!
I’m pretty sure that 1939 is an s. Look back at tbe raised elements rob was talking about. It defiantly looks like an s without a doubt
it did look like it when I edited the video for sure. I might get it out of the roll and see if it is.

1942D?! I’ve been wanting to find one in circulation. Wow....
Hey Rob I have a 70s penny out of Denver and the D is up in the date looks like this (19D72) what would you call that

Hey I have a quick question. My dad came across a $100 bill with the serial number of 12242019. Do you think that will be worth something?
Could be - it's a future birthday and Christmas Eve.
Weirdly, my cousin was at a grocery store and got change, and found an 1853 QUARTER. ONCE IN A FREAKING LIFETIME. HOLY CRAP.
WOW! Great score!
With rays right? if not its SUPER RARE!
No 1930-D buffalo nickels were issued. Only S or no mint mark.
Hey Rob
That's a good looking '83. I never find those in that good of condition.
I recently added 4 nickels to my collection: 1910, 1928S, 1934D, 1936
Just got a MS 65 1883 V nickel! (no cents)
Found some 64s similar to that 84 yesterday in my nickel hunt
Found a 1935 canadian on top of a 44 P too 😁
