    Factory Reset Yale
    1. Remove Back Plate
    2. Remove Battery's
    3. Remove two screws
    4. Find and hold White Reset Button
    5. Add Batteries (While holding Reset)
    6. Release Reset Button
    7. Add Master Code to confirm Reset

    Thank you so much. Just saved me so much time. I have an older model (physical keys on the key pad). There is a hole with a reset button inside so I just held the button down with a toothpick and did what you did. Worked perfectly! Thanks again!!!

    This is very helpful. We just bought a condo with a Yale combination lock that also has a key, but were not given the master code. Does the entire assembly have to be removed completely from the door, both inside and outside in order to reset the master code? The lock appears to be synced to a Vera controller, but we were not given the login information for the Vera controller either. Suggestions please.

      Dave if you can get to the reset button without removing everything I would do that. For the Vera part of the question you will need to repair or resync the lock now that it has been reset. If you don't have the log in information did they leave the hub there? Because their might be a way to reset the hub and start from scratch. That would be my suggestion

    Hi how to set time bound or one-time usage guest codes in ydme 100 nxt. The local technician doesn't know how to do it. Pls help. As on website it is mentioned that you can set time bound or one-time usage guest codes

    I just bought a house with this lock in place, but the bolt doesn’t retract far enough when the code is entered. Is there a way to make it retract more - 3mm or so?

    my lock's dead bult did not move, could not open the door after i enter the code. what should i do? do a factory reset? how to fix this problem? thanks

      I’d first check batteries if no power not but to do to fix it

    Anyone have trouble with it constantly reading lock jammed? The strike hole seems fine. It beeps five times but doesn’t even try to do anything. We have tried three sets of new batteries

      Sometime the weather plays a factor and the door. You might have to push or pull on the door to get it to work correctly.

    What's the rehanding process

      The rehanding process is teaching the deadbolt which way to go when syncing this lock it will be the first step after the sync and Yale will do it.

    How do you reset the network module

      This should reset the network module as well. I know I've had a few times where it has taken me multiple trys. I apologize if this does not help.

      @@TheSmartHomeHelper it doesn't reset the network module for zigbee. I found out that for zigbee you have to activate "exclusion mode" to reset the network module on these Yale locks.

    What if my lock does not have that white button? I must have an old lock, is there another way to reset it??

    I did my resets but the deadbolt opens the wrong way. You never finished your instructions on how to reverse it if this problem occurs? EJ

      If you have app this is how it is done:
      Select the three line menu bar then tap on Home. Open Settings (gear icon), then select on Lock Settings. Scroll down and find the option Calibrate Lock. Follow in-app recalibration instructions.
      If no app the recalibration is an option after you type in the master code. I can't remember the number but I believe it is 1. I'm sorry I could not be more help here.
