  • I put a GoPro and a 360 Camera inside a Dishwasher so we can see how the dishwasher works while it runs through all the cycles during a wash with detergent, in full 4k, and from the 360 camera.
    For those of you who are curious about the inside of the dishwasher and how a dishwasher works inside and does its job then this video is for you.
    Mostly I was really curious about how the dish soap gets dispensed which I haven't ever seen on video before.

    I spent less time fascinated with the inner workings of a dishwasher than I did staring at the guacamole on that plate wondering if the dishwasher would be successful in getting it all off. I've never wanted to take a sponge to something so badly in my life.

That's why we have dish washers for poor or rich people today so you don't have to. A catalog can be sent in many ways that the poor don't see or can't afford. Modern machines that are built for the wealthy are built in super high quality unlike the brand names you see at an appliance store. Most below average appliances are junk today and are made in China and Mexico. Average appliances before the early 1970's where very high in quality. Some last 60+ years and still going. They are still being made that way for the wealthy but not for the average person that they can afford one.

    For those that were bothered by the guacamole plate and upward leaning dishes: the jets aren’t meant to do much of the cleaning work. They are there to keep everything coated. The detergent is meant to do all the work, via chemicals and enzymes slowly breaking down the food. This is why they run for so long, 2hrs for a normal cycle, 4hrs for a ‘heavy’ cycle.
    And he put no prewash in for the first cycle, so it was just legit spraying water, very little initial cleaning. The second cycle loaded the detergent, starting the real cleaning.
    Also, for each cycle, the water is being recycled. It’s pumping “dirty” water constantly. But this saves water and again allows the detergent time to break everything down. The guac plate was heavily soiled and needed all the time it could get lol.
    Edit: those that are saying their wash cycle is as little as 30min, you’re undoubtedly using the “quick wash” setting, which runs effectively like the “prewash” I described in my original comment. If you’ve pre rinsed your dishes (in the sink), they’ll likely still come out clean. If you have guac plate level soiling, it likely won’t clean that completely - as we watched in the video. But on a was length in general - even a quick Google search gives a standard response: ‘a normal wash cycle usually takes between 1.5 and 4hrs.’

      @@MsCarringtonsTH-cam How would it save time? And yes with these 4 plates it probably wastes less water but if you have 20+ it is way more efficient

    • @datsnoiper
      @datsnoiper 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Theres a hint of right and wrong with that... Dishwashers make use of the water coming out of the sprinkler arms... a small load of dirty tablewear would be a waste of detergent, water and energy... However you should not load your dishwasher to the brim... poorly distributed tablewear can lead to poor results... Even when loading your dishwasher you need to be consious that large pans or bowls may cover the sprinklers and not allow for water to reach other things... Sometimes even resulting in not taking the detergent in case you use capsules... Ive been an appliance tech for over 6 years now... ive seen alot of stuff...
