I like the way you explain this...my child is not aware of the importance of time...I am explaining her the value of time..but don't understand that each work has to be completed in particular time..what to do
We were a no TV home but now my child is 10 and we allowed TV because we thought he was watching a lot of it whenever he got the opportunity. So, completely cutting off something actually increases your fascination for that thing. Secondly, I don't allow violent games or movies rated 12+ and he has made peace with that. All his friends play those games. All his friends have their own number and mobile. Since he uses my number to communicate, I know what conversations are going on. I don't think these restrictions are wrong. Just because everyone is watching all kinds of movies, playing violent games and having their own mobile at 10, I should allow too. I have explained to him that certain things you can enjoy more at an appropriate age. But he is certainly attracted towards those and yet he hasn't really gone out of his way to ask our permission to do or have those things. I also have issues with wrong ideas created by misleading ads. You only understand the psychology of ads when you are a certain age. Otherwise you consider what the ads show as truth. He wanted to have certain wafers because he thought if Virat Kohli can have it why can't I!
Sir with all due respects it's not hypothetical fears but the fact that kids have stopped exploring other options, TV & games are so attractive that they don't wish to play, get active, read books, do chores. They find board games boring and if u take them out the first thing they seek is phone. Even if they are accompanied with like wise age yet they choose to stick to gadgets. If I don't need to worry about this then what should I be worried?
Sir, my son is 18+ and he is using mobile , late night sleep, doesnt want to study . Bt he is also doing social work he has his own ngo also . Bt my prblm is he is not worried about his study .. he want to stop his studies. Wat should i do..
Heloo Sir,I regularly follow ur videos.Thankyou fr ur precious suggestions. My son is 4.8 years old (LKG).I hv not kept Television at home since his birth as I think when he'll be enough mature than ll put TV as he'll able to decide what to watch in TV. But sumtime I feel may b I m not doing justice with my son.No cartoon as he dont kw any cartoon characters.Yes, I saw his fav rhyme, pepa pigs, truck car animated in TH-cam under my observation for restricted hours. Is I m doing right? Kindly suggest
Very Informative Mr. Shridhar Couple of days back me and my partner were discussing about how to keep our new born away from screen during his early 3-4yrs. Sometimes we as a parents or grandparents can't be so strict to limit ourselves from screen in front of them, so eventually from there he starts developing interest in screen. And now a days video calling is again an real issue. What's your view on this?
Thank u so much... My little one is 3 year old... I m practising her gud screen time... Initially i was practicing cartoons to control her over active nature ... Wen i realised thr r lot of drawbacks and bad things given thr cartoons i started sit and workout how to use the screen time better for her... I choose lot of videos from lot of subjects like dance music education everything in which i started to learn wat she like the most and wen she get bored off i made lot of playlist in TH-cam now i help her watch science video stage show by kids which she like the most ... I help her watch natural scene scuba diving traditional dance traditional matrial arts games like playing in real traditional games ... Wen ever she s bored off i make an alternative but not any stupid or bad pages... Other than her grandparents watching tv serial i left to the choice as i cant grow her 100% perfect as no is so in this current world and wen ever she gets her grandparents mobile she will do watch only cartoons i leave it the her grandparents choice and they fight a lot to get back their phone frm her ... I never involve and so her grandparents learn tat if she get their phone and watch cartoons she never give their phone back and thy try not to let her take it...

Please give us some suggestions for improving marks of our children.
Marks important nahi hai.
