Oh my God! This is completely a new prospective way to deal with this tiny yet huge problem i face with my kids. This is soothing and relaxing. Yes indeed! I feel pressure of being the perfect mom. So I burden my family by my expectations. Thank you for such innovative explanation.
@@patelsuraiya9228 Yes! Many guys I knew during college days had their rooms messed up like a rat hole. It had nothing to do with creativity they were just unhygienic and immature. Thank you for taking the time to talk about this. I have been a messy kid all my life, and after being a mom I found this new habit of organising things (Of course my new family has influenced me a lot). But sometimes I feel like I've lost my creativity and spontaneousness in forcing myself to be more organized.
Bro I totally agree with you..at times we patents do get obsessed with cleanliness and order in life to the extent making life miserable for our kids...I am so glad I found your channel..gave me a big opportunity to stop and think...keep up the great work..love from Egypt ❤❤❤
I just want to clear one thing here there is a difference between cleanliness and orderliness..,, First few lines in ur video u were talking about keeping up the things at the right place that is orderliness..,, This is what is lacking now with children....It creates some sort of responsibility if they miss to do even their own things then slowly they will start to forget things it becomes difficult for them.... As a parent we are not expecting them to clean the house or help in chaos what we all want is we want them to be responsible.... Just to take care of themselves..., They can’t make other people run for their irresponsible work..., Atleast they should do their own work that’s it
Wow!! This was an eye opener. I always fret when my house is disorganised. For the first time I am hearing that chaos is ok. I literally loose my cool every day with my second daughter regarding her messy desk.
If I was your son...only thing I'd be doing is being at home doing what you tell me to do with no back talk or arguing. I'd do all of the cleaning so you don't have to worry with it! I'd help out in all other areas. My only happiness would be to obey you and make you happy!
I love you your videos, thank you. made my day when I felt at my worst with my daughter's behavior. She's an outdoor person and I'm an indoor person always wanting to keep the house clean and thinking if she is lazy at chores then I'll be the one to suffer in the future..

Thanks so much for this, a fresh take on something that has disturbed me a lot as I emerge from my adolescence. I grew up in a very messy home, and now that I live on my own, mess makes me anxious. Now I understand why, and it’s no major flaw in my childhood or some tragedy that my mother worked too hard to keep everything clean all the time. I’ve just been taught through experience that allowing mess makes me inferior for whatever reason. Again, thank you.
Today, I understand why most of the matured people said that if u ever feel that u have been trapped in some big problem and after so many efforts could not able to come out with a solution seek the advice of an professional consultant. Thanks a ton Shri for showing me another side of coin which I am not able to see & spoiling the relations those are really closed to my heart.
I'm an adult and I'm still dealing with unresolved trauma which has caused me depresion and anxiety for the longest time right because of my mother's obsession with cleaningness and order making her to channel out her frustration and negativity on me and my siblings , always yelling and making arguments out of the pettiest things. And I can't thank enough for this video that I'm about to send her , thanks a thousand times over
It's fine to use ur suggestion of accepting chaos at home but what about when they do this at other places ? People will demotivate them, judge them, not behave respectfully with them,or even judge parents for their habbits..this happens..many of us would like to know the solutions for this .Thx
Tnq very much, it was really good to see the video, s I also wanted that orderly ness from my husband & daughter , but now I realised that it's my personal trait and I hv time cope up with their lil mess also. Tnq very much

I am someone who is completely obsessive with brand new. I have never had the finances to afford everything to be brand new everytime. However, I notice things that are 2nd hand make me feel extremely unsuccessful. Hence, I refuse to buy from thrift stores. I have exaggerated this to include respect for the passing, the people who lost those items unknowingly, and that my family is worth the brand new. It hurts when someone of my finances watches dishes get broken. It hurts to know I spent $20.00 on a cup that is offered for $5.00 somewhere else get tossed like it didn't mattered. How do I fix this. My child who's I school age now has become compulsive with debree and wasteful mess. For example: small items on the carpet that we don't ever have. Paper scraps, crumbs, and also broken bits of crayons. Wasting a soda after it is opened, and wanting another open. Throwing food away and wanting more food. Also dumping all of the soap in the bathroom or wasting all of the dish soap. I know I should love cleaning up after my kids. . .and I do. I hate touching the debree, it hurts me emotionally. To clean everything so much and rewiping things 3-5 times a day is a lot for 1 child. I'm vacuuming about 4x a day. I've talked about this and it is a custom to NOT allow a child or a man to clean. So I am looking for ways to fix how I respond. I'm bitting my tongue in embarrassment because I look part maid instead of responsible.
No one would like to go in a disordered room, it gives a sense of negativity, when u enter someone's house or room, we expect it to be neat n clean... Else you wont be able to concentrate n feel happy.. Thats my thinking🤔 , i cant work in a messy room
My house is a cosmic chaos! My 3yo son just throws things around everywhere. I tell him to do minimum clean up every night. Rest we clean up once in a week, with a loud music on & dancing. I don't mind any guests at any time. I welcome them with a big smile on face, I push things around to make some space for them to sit in the middle of shit pile in the living room. I'm not ashamed or hesitant of not being able meet somebody's organizing asthetics standard. I'm having a fun filled, chilled out life. My 33yo husband is disorganized to the extent unimaginable. He never even keeps car/bike keys in one place, let alone hanging his shirts in right place. I'm not an organized person myself but utter chaos makes us waste a lot of time every time in finding things. Every time I find my things immediately & leave for office in the right time he gets jealous. But it's their wish I don't compel him to be organized. If he's ok wasting his 15-30 mins every day finding his keys, up to him. I will not waste time helping him even if it's at the cost of him missing or going late for his meeting. He seems to have eventually learned his lesson & trying to be little organized. On the other hand my mom is highly organized. I think being minimal organized at certain daily chores is smart & time saving. U don't want to waste everyday 15mins each in looking for toothbrush, shaver, sock. But spending a lot of time in organizing & asthetics is a waste of too much energy in life. Organizing is to facilitate life, that itself should not be life's goal.
Happy Morning. I am a parent of 20&16. This is totally different perspective! Find it difficult to accept. But nevertheless have taken a stand to look at this topic in your perspective. Thanks for the video.
This is what I do, but, I don't know whether it's right. I tell my kids to help with house chores and pay them money. It brings a sense that we have to earn and eat. And teaches them responsibility.
Chaos in the house makes it feel livable. Too organised feels like showrooms or museum. But i believe nature is very organised and rythmic. Discipline helps, orderlyness helps
Nice video Sir...i just happened to see ur video at d time i most needed ...i have started getting obsessed lately regarding orderliness & cleaniness...i felt quite relieved after hearing u & also one Brother Jude Antonie who is a preacher in church...his video & urs i found quite inspirational...he has explained in one of his videos regarding marriage...dat man & woman r created differently...so we cant expect our spouses to agree with our views & opinions...quite a hilarious video of his...do watch it ...its quite good
Hi .. Your workshop was really good .... Its me obsessed with cleaning and my son is addicted to blocks which he scatters around in whole room ....he makes amazing Things out if it though just 7 years old and I have to clean it again and again and end up nagging him .... I do try not but will try more hard from my side to be patient ..thanks
Hi Ms Vidya, pl dont get too influenced by these kind of opinions. Be a friend n confidante of ur child and reason out with him/her. Chaos has seldom helped kids to be responsible adults. U know whats best for ur child and love, care n healthy communication can move the proverbial mountains. Ur guidance only can set the pattern for ur lovely child.
Pretty good points and they are well researched . And of course Indian parenting has a lot to absorb. Although not everyone is going agree some points are really the truth. I cant force some habits on eveyone in my house.
U r awesome... Aweeeeeeesome insight . Dats lyk listening to modern geeta gyan descending straight from gen X lord Krishna as far as nu age parenting challenging issues . U r very very relevant n effective shridhar
Mr. Shridhar Maheshwari- Thank you. This beautiful view point, made lot of sense.. should bring me down now from lvl 8-lvl1 in orderliness. Thanks again🙏🏻🙏🏻
Good one..Loved it . Continue your messages ,at least a few of them will implement it in the life..I love myself,so it's easy for me🙏😇 love and gratitude to you and all shridharji
I can relate each and every bit of this video… I am being so intolerant and not having peace of mind… very timely …. Please share the videos that speaks the ways to teach kids personal and house cleanliness … I just subscribed to your channel . Can you please tell me if you can take some parenting and as well sessions for my kid who is diagnosed ADHD
I am not focusing on cleaning or tidying up. My oldest daughter loves a messy room and I just close the door. Dirty clothes will come when they have nothing to wear. If they can't find something in their room it is not my problem. It is your own responsibility in how you want to look your bedroom. She is creative and that is the part I focus on. I let them be theirselves. The only problem is when for example a social worker comes as they have other views. It brings stress and that is what I tell to the social worker. I focus more on my kids than on the house. Everyday I go through the home and tidy and clean what is important for me. So if I have this view, then others can have their view. None of the views are wrong. They are just different. Focus on yourself. Give an example of how you are and let them choose to follow you or not. Everyone is different and that is a good thing. Focus on the person and not on the results. Much love. Xx
Sir, apne problems to bata diye but solutions? Uske liye seminar attend karo? Vo bhi ticket leke? Better u make video on this. I think this is promotional video for your chargeable seminar or counselling. Is it so?
Hi shridhar u indeed are making our parenting easy. Pls make a vedio regarding increase in shopping in children and low level of satisfaction even after buying things and how to handle this.
I don't agree with your statements completely.Discipline and dedication makes a person successful. Even great philosophers and greatest scientists are disciplined and they are passionate about their subjects. If you are disciplined automatically things will fall into place. Getting up early, making your bed, brushing your teeth, cleaning your body, eating yourself ,cleaning plates after eating ,keeping your stuffs organised are simple habits that can be easily taught to a kid 5 years and above .Only these basic habits leads to a better person a better decision maker. Chaos might be a word which nature is also following, but imagine honking and chirping of birds are both sound .are both of them soothing to ears??No na!! Yes parents shouldn't start beating or scolding ,but these are basic things which everyone should know. These habits are something which makes you more matured and you can easily focus on your dreams. Yes we do share our DNA with chimpanzee but we can't throw our eatables here n there.neither we can teach our future generations to do so. The world is already polluted and we will teach to increase the clutter.!!!😢 India has been the most polluted place where rivers , agricultural land has become poison. It is the responsibility of every parents to teach each and every kid to be clutter free and do something good for the environment. this doesn't means that the kids can't explore their talent. Keeping house clean is also a sign of organised and matured person. It teaches us to be more sensible from an early age ,so wats wrong in that?? We are not animals that's why we wear clothes, drives car, stay in a house n we behave well with other humans. Discipline is important in every aspect of life, whether you want to be an artist or a doctor or a scientist or an entrepreneur. Keeping books in your study table and keeping books in your bathroom doesn't makes you future Einstein. Not everyone can become a famous singer, artist, actor, player, guitarist But one thing everyone can become.,a responsible citizen,a responsible human
Looks like one needs to develop a perspective as to what the counsellor is talking about. I'm pretty sure he has not said anywhere throughout his video that staying messy (in your house) sometimes is equal to staying unhygienic.
Being a teacher, I'm facing the complaints from the parents..that their child is nt at all organised.. I my self face these issues on a daily basis in the school and class as well. So Mr. Shreedhar.. I won't agree with u... Ya, ofcourse, we shouldn't be nagging.. But then how? We shivered on one voice of our parents... But nowdays,, overpamperdness has ruined everything... We are providing more than the requirements..they need one, we give them 10.. They can't value the emotions & the hard work of their parents.. According to them it's the duty of parents to provide things to them coz' they have given them birth.. We say that the generation is changed,, children don't listen.. Do you know y? Because, when either of the parent is scolding or trying to check the child on wrong doing, one of the parent mum or dad, come to their rescue. Blame game is played in front of the children.. Hence these kids don't respect us. We are only the facility providers like a shopkeeper that's it.. Both the parents if statrt taking it seriously, to a greater extent the problem could be solved. & last but nt the least end of the joint family system & the quest for individual space is playing the villain. It's a very big debate.. All points couldn't be covered.. My suggestion to all the parents always had been that from the beginning stop fulfilling the demands of their kids..let them feel the need.. Then give it to them.. These kids don't want to work hard.. All they want to be done automatically..
At 4:58 I'd like to point out that physicists and scientists today agree that our universe is low entropy. Meaning there's a lowest level of disorder. The universe has high level of order from the time it came into being. While I agree with the video and love what you've mentioned, just that part needs to be reviewed.
Your videos are really very helpful. Please make a video on teenage daughters 16 years and how a mother can ensure that she is not doing anything with any boy when she goes out to college, classes etc for many hours.. I am very tensed. She doesn't listen to me and has relationships.
Shiraz Patrawala you shouldn’t get angry on her but talk to her like a friend .Tell like you will feel doing such and such wrong things but not good for you and your future .That is the only way you can tell her and make lot of duaa for her .I also have all teenage daughter and sons .I have seen duaa makes a lot of impact on them .One of my son was doing the same thing I talked to him calmly and made lot of duaa for him .Alhamdulillah he is good now .Your anger mane the things worse .
Shiraz Patrawala inshAllah Your duaa will be more accepted in favor of her.You should watch kanwal Abbasi and qasim Ali shah video .I have learned a lot .I live abroad .I have friend from all other countries .Ehat I have noticed that Indian parents have least patience .With kids we need patience .Dont upbringi your child as your parents did .Give them lot of respect love .Your duaa can change her fate .Allah has given that power to every parent .Whether he is Hindu ,Muslim .So why don’t make lot of duaa for them .I have four teenagers . I used to yell at them .Now I have learned from mistakes .Now I have stopped yelling at them ,do lot of duaa that seems to be working . th-cam.com/video/0WkGJ656qKk/w-d-xo.html
Thanks so much, liked the perspective on tolerating and accepting diversity of approach around cleanliness and orderliness. However would be interesting to know his do we drive discipline and perseverance in children. To me orderliness is a sign if self discipline. Kindly share your thoughts around this
Wonderful video !dear sridhar could u make some video on kids eating problem . I m having 7 year child .all the time I have arguments with him regarding having water and finish it lunch box and every meal. He doesn't like to eat n drink.
I agree partly you are right, but now a days, mom's are not only house makers they have to do multi tasking so she needs everyone help.. And according to me good habits should cultivate so in future they should not feel that they are doing upkar of keeping their things properly. Yes the way of telling them should be proper.. But apana Kam khudne hi karna chahiye
The video is really awesome. There are always two sides of a coin but sometimes we forget to see the other side ......Thanks a lot for reminding us that the other side does exist. But what about the chance to attend and to interact with you personally as the cost of tickets of your seminar are way too higher for a middleclass person like me...??? Feeling very sad 😔
Hey Shridhar, I like your videos. Thanks for bringing these day to day topics up and discussing on it. I just have a request. If possible can you speak a bit slow. That makes it so much pleasing to hear and understand.

Disorder is fine if it is out of engagement. But if it is just because of laziness dn it is not a sign of creativity or productivity.

Feeling sorry for missing these vedios so far...
Excellently explained..
Happy Morning. I am a parent of 20&16. This is totally different perspective! Find it difficult to accept. But nevertheless have taken a stand to look at this topic in your perspective. Thanks for the video.
I am very appreciated with ur video..
This is what I do, but, I don't know whether it's right. I tell my kids to help with house chores and pay them money. It brings a sense that we have to earn and eat. And teaches them responsibility.
धन्यवाद श्रीधरजी
❤
Chaos in the house makes it feel livable. Too organised feels like showrooms or museum.
But i believe nature is very organised and rythmic. Discipline helps, orderlyness helps
Nice video Sir...i just happened to see ur video at d time i most needed ...i have started getting obsessed lately regarding orderliness & cleaniness...i felt quite relieved after hearing u & also one Brother Jude Antonie who is a preacher in church...his video & urs i found quite inspirational...he has explained in one of his videos regarding marriage...dat man & woman r created differently...so we cant expect our spouses to agree with our views & opinions...quite a hilarious video of his...do watch it ...its quite good
A huge thank you
Even a thinker like me didn't think of it like this..Thanks a ton !
Hi Shridhar..
I loved this video..
I am Vidya a single mom
And this video puts me at ease..
Thanks
Vidya
Hi Ms Vidya, pl dont get too influenced by these kind of opinions. Be a friend n confidante of ur child and reason out with him/her. Chaos has seldom helped kids to be responsible adults. U know whats best for ur child and love, care n healthy communication can move the proverbial mountains. Ur guidance only can set the pattern for ur lovely child.
@@mahendramallya9553 appreciate your viewpoint
Pretty good points and they are well researched . And of course Indian parenting has a lot to absorb. Although not everyone is going agree some points are really the truth. I cant force some habits on eveyone in my house.
And as you said it's their house also they have the responsibility to take minimal care of it.
But they may be fine with that disorder right
Hats off to u Sridhar ji🤗🤗😎😎
Good awesome practical dynamic speech
U r awesome...
Aweeeeeeesome insight .
Dats lyk listening to modern geeta gyan descending straight from gen X lord Krishna as far as nu age parenting challenging issues .
U r very very relevant n effective shridhar
Mr. Shridhar Maheshwari- Thank you. This beautiful view point, made lot of sense.. should bring me down now from lvl 8-lvl1 in orderliness. Thanks again🙏🏻🙏🏻
An eye opener, thanks so much
Hi i am very thankful for your video. Simply open my eyes... Thank you once again.
Good one..Loved it . Continue your messages ,at least a few of them will implement it in the life..I love myself,so it's easy for me🙏😇 love and gratitude to you and all shridharji
Thank you so much, I now know where I was going wrong.
Thanks a lot... Chaos.. 🙏😁👏👏
U hv freed me of a lot of guilt 😘
Much love. Xx
Thank you, very very much.
Sreedhar... Well said!!!
Sir, apne problems to bata diye but solutions? Uske liye seminar attend karo? Vo bhi ticket leke? Better u make video on this. I think this is promotional video for your chargeable seminar or counselling. Is it so?
a very new perspective
Hi shridhar u indeed are making our parenting easy.
Pls make a vedio regarding increase in shopping in children and low level of satisfaction even after buying things and how to handle this.
Simple, useful and relatable.
Namaste sir, very Nice and useful topic for parents
Thank you very much brother you are wonderful educator
Wow man! Thanks a ton for this different perspective.
Thank you 🙏
Soooo nice.....thnku
The world is already polluted and we will teach to increase the clutter.!!!😢
India has been the most polluted place where rivers , agricultural land has become poison.
Not everyone can become a famous singer, artist, actor, player, guitarist
But one thing everyone can become.,a responsible citizen,a responsible human
Yes,I do agree with you.
Completely agree with you 👍👍
Looks like one needs to develop a perspective as to what the counsellor is talking about. I'm pretty sure he has not said anywhere throughout his video that staying messy (in your house) sometimes is equal to staying unhygienic.
It's just my mind voice what wrote in comment... Thank you....
Of course I agree with you...
This vdo is just for me as m 32 years old n getting scolding from my mom for being unorganized till now
Awesome ! Never hear such a great speak even in Canada.
Plz come up with videos on' Learning Disability' in children's.
How is all this connected to the topic of orderliness
Wonderful talk u have opened my mind
Tq for sharing God bless you for helping parents like us👍😄🙏
I'm from Andhra Pradesh
Its difficult to reach u
Pls upload all seminars
So we can learn to live happily 😀🤩🤩🤩🤗🤗
At 4:58 I'd like to point out that physicists and scientists today agree that our universe is low entropy. Meaning there's a lowest level of disorder. The universe has high level of order from the time it came into being.
While I agree with the video and love what you've mentioned, just that part needs to be reviewed.
Useful post
Wow.. thank u... Awesome perspective
@@JannatJannat56 thank you for your support.. please pray for her 🙏
Shiraz Patrawala inshAllah Your duaa will be more accepted in favor of her.You should watch kanwal Abbasi and qasim Ali shah video .I have learned a lot .I live abroad .I have friend from all other countries .Ehat I have noticed that Indian parents have least patience .With kids we need patience .Dont upbringi your child as your parents did .Give them lot of respect love .Your duaa can change her fate .Allah has given that power to every parent .Whether he is Hindu ,Muslim .So why don’t make lot of duaa for them .I have four teenagers . I used to yell at them .Now I have learned from mistakes .Now I have stopped yelling at them ,do lot of duaa that seems to be working .

Thanks a lot sir for advice.🙏
Thanks so much, liked the perspective on tolerating and accepting diversity of approach around cleanliness and orderliness. However would be interesting to know his do we drive discipline and perseverance in children. To me orderliness is a sign if self discipline. Kindly share your thoughts around this
A gtreat research.
Wonderful video !dear sridhar could u make some video on kids eating problem . I m having 7 year child .all the time I have arguments with him regarding having water and finish it lunch box and every meal. He doesn't like to eat n drink.
Loved it
Feel like u spoke to me directly 😀
Well, to be honest, I feel his fast pace contributes to making the video interesting...This is just my view though
