Dope review! I fell into the same cinema rig hype and after about a year of use, I realised that the camera isn’t really meant for that. Now i use it with a monitor only and prefer the freedom of portability, and access to all the buttons. If i want i more “pro” camera i would get an FX6 or Burano. JM2C

you could open up the touchscreen and change the options right there? On the r6ii thats possible. but not 100% sure about the sonys.

It’s good, but recently got the 24-70GMII and it’s leagues better
@@JonnyRoams Oooh how so? Why would anyone get the GM II that's like triple the price over a used 28-75 G2 that runs for sub $700 occasionally?
@@SouthboundProduction better auto focus, sharper, build quality, declickable aperture ring, lens breathing compensation, manual focus button. To name a few.

@@JonnyRoams Did you ever use the Tamron Utility App to program the left button on the 28-75 G2 to be a manual focus button? I feel like that would've solved that one easily.
I own the cineback as well, and I am against using dummy batteries similar to your reasons therefore I use a d-tap to USB C PD cable which provides the required voltage to power the fx3/30 with the usb c port and it opens the ability to hot swap the camera as you have the original sony battery inside the camera so you don't have to worry about your v mount dying mid-shoot.
I really need to get that. I’ve also just heard bad things in general using dummy batteries!
@JonnyRoams definitely look into it! I would recommend a right angle pd cable if you can find one?
