    Ingredients:
    2 Bunches of Turnip greens
    6 Bunches of Mustard greens
    1 smoked turkey wing
    1/2 cup of diced onions
    1 tablespoon each of garlic powder, onion powder, creole/Cajun seasoning, and seasoning salt.
    1 Jalepeno pepper sliced in half.
    2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
    1/4 Cup of Chicken Boullion
    12 cups of water
    4 medium turnips

    I just made these greens today following your steps I just omitted the Cajun seasoning because my children they don't like the spice but man oh man I followed every step and these greens are so good thank you so much I could never get my greens to taste like this My granddaddy can make greens my grandmama can make greens My mom but when it came to me I just could not get them tender could not get them tasty and now I found a good recipe thank you so much

    You can use bacon grease which is healthier than vegetable oil.:-)

    I live in Maine and we call it pot liquor. I'm going to make some beans and corn bread to have with my greens and I already have homemade chow chow the kind we make up here which is very very similar to what's made in the south.

    The store had no turnips either and I have to do a pickup order so I am limited by what they say they have because I am disabled.

    I use a smashed garlic clove and chopped onions in my broth. No jalapeno due to a geographic tongue. I hope I'm not breaking a cardinal rule by putting garlic and onions in my broth with my ham hock.
