This is how my mama and aunt taught me to cook greens they used salt pork, but I’ve always used some type of smoked meat (brisket or rib minus the bbq sauce), and we use kale never tried it with spinach. That’ll be my go to next time. Fun fact I HATE greens cabbage etc won’t eat it, but I amaze everyone that I can cook it. Love the broth, but hate the textures 😫😂😂

I grew greens in my Grammas backyard. When she cooked them she called me and said that those were the best greens she tasted in a very long time. I grew mustard, collard and turnip greens. She said the smell was even different like it was a fresh smell in the house. She also didn't call me when she cooked them 🤨
