Well done Phil for picking amazing Green wrap for your FL5 it’s unique and awesome. Keep up with this amazing build and can’t wait to see your FL5 soon and all the team
Happy to hear you like it as much as we do! 😁 CBP is a stunning colour on the FL5 but doing something different doesn't hurt. What colours do you have in mind? 👀
@@DreamAutomotive Just realized this was replied to. With the look of the headlights I was really wanting something along the lines of Midnight Purple. But that color I think is more deserved and original for a GTR which I will own one day.
Thanks for watching, the name of the PPF film is at the very top of the description and also mentioned in our previous video which featured the install process of the film at WrapGuard. Regarding the exhaust, testing is ongoing and the results will be shared tomorrow at 11:45am BST in another video! 😁

I've Got To Admit I First Glance I Didn't Like The Green PPF But After The Car Was Completed I Must Say The Car Looks Amazing, The Milltek Exaust Was 🔥🔥🔥, This Is By Far The Best FL5 Vlog Out There, Dream Automotive Keep The Good Vids Coming 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👑💯💪🏽
It's actually a clear PPF film from ProFilm called Green Diamond! It has been applied over the original black paint and has a colour changing effect, resulting in the green 🙌
Is it just me or are the exhaust tips not evenly spaced? i love the sound of this exhaust but those tips being like that would do my head in... wish it had the quailty of the apexi one it looks amazing but is quiet
It is heavily dependent on the base colour, we can't imagine it working very well on light colours. It's very nearly invisible but the red H badge on the front of our FL5 is also wrapped in the PPF and the effect is quite difficult to see.
Wind deflectors do not make a car look worse. I have them on my civic which hides the chrome and make it look a lot meaner with my aftermarket tinted taillight and tinted windows. But hey to each their own.
I think it’s paint protection film which instead of being clear has a metallic green candy effect. When it’s laid on the black paintwork this is the effect you get.
Hello! Dave is correct, rather than a vinyl wrap it is a colour change paint protection film. It is clear until applied to the car, it's like magic! 😁 Thank you for watching!
Aren't wind deflectors for people who smoke with their window down while it's raining? I immediately associate wind deflectors with trashy people and think they look horrific on any car.
Each to their own, we like the OEM+ style of them. As Sam mentioned, they're also to allow you to have the window down a little bit when it's raining, without getting wet! Thanks for watching 😁
@@DreamAutomotive How’s the wind noise on the motorway with the deflectors? Any worse than stock? How about when driving with the windows just slightly open - any wind resonance? I’m thinking of getting these for my fl5 so I can crack the windows open and better hear the PRL intake turbo wooshes. Currently if I do that there’s a terrible resonance above a certain speed.
That colour is awesome, well done Dream👍
Thank you very much!
What color green is that
Well done Phil for picking amazing Green wrap for your FL5 it’s unique and awesome. Keep up with this amazing build and can’t wait to see your FL5 soon and all the team
Thanks for the love David 💪 We can't wait for you to see it in person, it's even more spectacular!
Love that green color….Honda needs that as an option
It would be nice, wouldn't it! Thanks for watching
That green color is beautiful.
Thanks for watching! We're glad you agree 💪
That green is awesome and on a type r what more could you want
OMG the color is killing it amazing 🤩
Loved The Color!
Thank you! We're excited to share even more angles of it, especially when the sun comes out!
The lack of transparency over Dyno results is disappointing.
Awesome 👌 👏
What were the dyno results?
We'll be analysing results and data in our next video, testing is ongoing 💪
Looks awesome 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you Jose! 💪
looks good in this colour reminds me of the volvo 850 t5r i used to own
JFC this looks amazing
😎
I’m green with envy!
We see what you did there! 😅 Thanks for watching!
Good day to all… i just wanna ask if the spoon springs for fk8 will fit on the FL5? Thank you for the answer…🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
They would fit however Spoon have release FL5 specific springs. We imagine the spring rates will be slightly different!
Love the green, how do you shift using your left hand? lol New Jersey USA
Glad you like it, and right back at you; how can you shift with your right! 😆Thanks for watching!
What a color. I’m still debating on the color I want mine in. Crystal Black Pearl as well.
Happy to hear you like it as much as we do! 😁 CBP is a stunning colour on the FL5 but doing something different doesn't hurt. What colours do you have in mind? 👀

@@Xchax3 ProFilm do offer this style PPF in many different colours, other than the green! A purple effect over the black would look 🔥🔥
@@DreamAutomotive Thank you for letting me know! I'll check them out.
Are you going to fit a downpipe, like HJS?
We will certainly be fitting one yes, our own Dream Automotive Hard-Lagged Decat Downpipe 💪
“We’ve wrapped this” in a color we’re not telling you. “We’re also going to put it on the dyno, and not tell you if the exhausts made a difference.”

Beautiful color
Thanks Darren! Glad you like it 😁
Where did you purchase the genuine Honda wind deflectors?
You can get a set here: www.civictyperparts.com/products/genuine-honda-access-wind-deflectors-honda-civic-type-r-fl5-k20c1-2-0t-2022?_pos=1&_sid=deae67cb0&_ss=r
Haha. Hey let’s throw it on the Dyno and not tell anyone the results….the wrap is fire though.
Not a sports car?
@Ben not a sports car? It’s a Type R, of course it’s a sports car 😂🤦🏻♂️
@Ben Tesla 🤮🤮 BORING 🥱
@Ben that doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s still a sports car 🙄🤦🏻♂️
@Ben so you're yet another one that thinks it's all about how fast it is between 0-60 😂😂

Thank you! We appreciate the kind words 😁💪
Shame the Dyno results have to been shared. Very odd, why even bother to show the process!
Test goes on and on! We'll be addressing results in our next video 👍 Thank you for watching!
Jupiter business park Doncaster. Not far from me 👍🏼
Holy shit that color looks good
We're glad you agree, we had a similar reaction when we first saw it 😅
What’s the specific color for that wrap or can I get link to purchase?
It's actually a clear PPF film from ProFilm called Green Diamond! It has been applied over the original black paint and has a colour changing effect, resulting in the green 🙌
Damme that nice nice nice 👌 👍 👏
We're glad you like it 😎 The FL5 suits the colour very well!
Smashed it
Thank you! 💪
Would've been nice if wind deflectors continued over the rear quarter windows. Something looks missing
Is it just me or are the exhaust tips not evenly spaced? i love the sound of this exhaust but those tips being like that would do my head in... wish it had the quailty of the apexi one it looks amazing but is quiet
Gotta work hard to get the FL5 😢😢
@12:11 says 332.5hp, unless im reading it wrong..
So this color change look same on every color or different attributes on different base color?
It is heavily dependent on the base colour, we can't imagine it working very well on light colours.
It's very nearly invisible but the red H badge on the front of our FL5 is also wrapped in the PPF and the effect is quite difficult to see.
@@DreamAutomotive understood, thanks for clarification.
Showing 330.8hp @11:48 this is down from the ~340hp in their previous video.
What wrap is this? Looks great
This is Paint Protection FIlm rather than a vinyl wrap! It's ProFilm Diamond Green PPF 💪
In love with the color. Do you know if there's anywhere in the states that would carry the film? Having trouble finding info on it
The car itself looks great! Adding wind deflectors just makes it worse 😅
Wind deflectors do not make a car look worse. I have them on my civic which hides the chrome and make it look a lot meaner with my aftermarket tinted taillight and tinted windows. But hey to each their own.
After all that, no numbers.
Testing is ongoing, catch up with the results in our next video 💪
🔥
How much did it make?
We'll be analysing the data in our next video 💪
Lol I looked at the rear wheels on the dyno bit lol😅 ....oh hoot wrong wheels my bad
Thanks for watching! And, 😅 I think we've all been there at least once!
That's a sketchy dyno. I wouldn't have shared the results either 😆
You know what really annoys me....... its a £50k with LED lights everywhere and the rear indicator is just a normal bulb!
この色はラッピングですか?

car is screaming for more aggressive wheel offsets

Also allow you to have your windows down slightly even when it's raining and not let water in
