On average, Storms happen about12 to 19 times a year. The hardest hit regions are Cagayan Valley, Bicol and Eastern Visayas. The typhoon season in the Pacific usually begins with less severe storms in April and does not end until November. The most severe typhoons usually occur in August and September.

LOL, I can say from experience. 2 marraiges to Fillipinas. 8 years, 11 years. 2 divorces. I married 2 beautiful loving and caring Fillipinas and divorced 2 Americans. Very pleasurable, but painful experiences. lol My advice to anyone marrying any beautiful foreign woman; take care of her, don't let her work in a job where she will meet other men interested in her, especially if you're not perfect yourself, and live in her country if you can. And for those people who say love is love. lol NO! "The grass can always be greener". lol But, for sure I am addicted, lol, because I will marry a Fillipina again and live in the Philippines, hopefully that works, lol because I'm betting the rest of my life on it, retiring in the Philippines soon. :) I just love Fillipinas and the Philippines. The people there are generally happy, poor or not, and happiness is contageous. I need that in my life.

    • @JasperinthePhilippines

Yeah, the reality is that most men don’t have the frame, the luxe or the money to hold a woman that’s being influenced by other Filipinos in the workplace and being hit on by coworkers, so what you do is you get a Filipino in the Philippines and you keep a close eye on her and you maintain your frame and you’ll be fine.

I think your style of showing us around different places and the beautiful beaches, as you talk from a single guy perspective, makes it very interesting to a broad demographic. my favorite Philippine expat Vloggers are usually older and more stationary talking heads - their channel growth did not happen as rapidly tho they are good info. Youve passed up those w older channels. Keep up the good work of sharing your experiences there. It helps us learn the when where and whys of going there.

My family and I live in Antipolo, Rizal Province, quite high up. Since we moved here from HK we have experienced a couple of typhoons, torrential rain and even the aftermath of the eruption of the Taal volcano a few years ago, but all is good. I agree with you on being ripped off. I've gone to markets and been charged double the local price. And then my wife turns up! and she refuses to deal with the trader because they are, in her words, my idiom, "taking the piss". Other stallholders took note and don't inflate the prices since we are local/repeat/loyal customers.I love it here. Good neighbours, decent income, low cost of living and clean air due to the altitude. We have property, a decent income and a peaceful life. When it comes to travel, we actually prefer to stay within the Philippines rather than go overseas, although I have taken the family to Europe, just for the experience. The kids are happy, as is my wife, so I'm not going anywhere soon.

Ask the girl that you’re dating or just watch what other people are paying I’m not stupid and yeah you can’t just go up to someone in/the price by 60% and then take the item that’s not how life works. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡

@PhillyWilly in the Philippines Not true, I am an AFAM and my fiancee always buys meat at the wet market and fruits and vegetables(I am not the shopper) but, we do frequent the wet market in Moalboal and near her hometown. However, I keep my distance...she's very savvy on prices in both the wet and supermarkets.

It might run you about $150 a month and you have to pay the water and Internet will be about $20 so you figure 700 if you score a deal like Mee could go all the way up to like 1000 these are for Studio types or maybe small one-bedrooms depends on what you’re looking For.

Depends on how old you are what you look like and how much money you have. You’ll obviously have an easier time in the province or like a Dumaguete type area because you have Negros right there with a lot of girls with no electricity, so you can basically be ugly and fat and old. But you won’t really have proper healthcare if you have a heart attack or something. Manila is probably the place for you, my friend we have St. Luke’s Hospital an American level hospital.
