      Perspective is everything. Thai condos are cheap due to chronic oversupply. Friends just sold a lovely home in HuaHin, after 10 yrs of ownership. After broker’s fee & taxes, they essentially broke even. In the Philippines, a similar home in Cebu, for example, would’ve netted them ~150% profit, at least.

    • @pascalgallez1126
      @pascalgallez1126 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I will assume that the price of 26K refers to the smaller of the 2 condos. I would like to know the price for the bigger condo. Further, your front window neighbour is almost 3 meters away from you and walking naked in your flat is somehow difficult. Finally, none of the 2 condos shown have a very easy to use kitchen.

      One of the reasons most advisors say not to buy a home when you first move to a new country.
      Wait, at least until you know how things work. Imagine if you moved to the US and bought a condo without knowing about condo fees.
      No telling what fees and restrictions might apply. I’d find an expat lawyer at the very least.
      I recently learned that non-Thai generally can’t buy real estate. I think condos are an exception.

A bed one can sit up in, and read are the best. Only a mirror in the bath would be all I would ever want. Thailand is my favorite Asian place, and if I ever live in the Orient... Thailand. What is the price of the 42 Sq Met unit. Typically how much extra %age in fees and Taxes for a US buyer to get an idea. Not a bad price at all for settling abroad. My fixed cost every year for just owning my modest 1600 Sft hone in US costa me around $10K per year - Just the prop tax, insurance, utility bills, lawn care and the regular periodical head ache maintaining the property. On top of that owning a car and its insurance and maintenance. I dont need to worry about anything. Sriracha may be out of town as some comments say so what better than holed up in the US big city or waiting to to be mugged / shot in a mall / school / church or during an evening walk.

    The layout of that condo is ok. Everything else, as I look closely to the details the materials they use are either recycled and laminated. I can tell this company is "cheap!"😀 It looks pretty dinky, too, but it's ideal if you live alone. I wouldn't place a loveseat very close to the door, at least leave some space, haha!😂

      @@olddouchebag In Thailand, and in many parts of Asia, a box that tiny is worth $30-35k. In Thailand, it probably costs less than $25k to make it. A good friend of mine had his entire house built of 3br 2bth, 1,876sqm in 2020 (on a leased land), for a little over $85k. That dinky tiny box is simply overpriced!!🤣
