Solo V TV I just wanted to update you, I enjoy my new job so much! I’m grateful for the supportive management from different branches who agreed to be my mentor and start guiding me and helping me study to grow my career to become a Relationship Banker. From a hospital Chef to Chase Bank. What a career change. And 1 week in and I already got offered full time.
Was the training challenging?
Ryan Rollins no the training was not challenging. I spent my previous career working as a cook. So I’ve never even used a computer in a job as well.

lolol. same..Morning procedures, balancing vault, atm, sending sheets down , opening accounts, doing wires, and mortgages... ugh... I've been in banking for 10 years. currently, I'm working for a community bank now, and it's legit just myself, and another person working. Omg it's so crazy. like I legit have no help, I need to do the monthly audits, and I have customers complaining.... I'm going crazy... lol

The bank is empty of customers 😂. After working for 20 years in the bank, I decided to retire early. Because working in a bank is boring. I prefer to manage my own business.

@@davidcohen4674 good luck , you will learn a lot but eventually u will get burnt out. Branches are dying by the second due to online banking ,and high turnover rate in the branches

Until I become a professional studio musician, I'm thinking of getting a job as a bank teller to earn extra cash. Entry-level studio musicians don't make anywhere near enough money to live off of, but if I'm working an extra job that pays just as much, I'll be making enough to pay rent and buy food for myself.

don't let that stop you I have trained so many ppl that English is not their first language but they get it with time good luck!! :)

hey v, i recently decided to become a teller. i have no prior bankin experience, i used to be a casino dealer for 4 years. i found a lot of bank teller certification programs online but not sure which direction to go. do banks train teller on the job or u have to have experience n certification? please help, thank you so much:)
hey man I think it depends on your resume, I had no experience and was lucky to get the position I guess i did good on my interview, apply you don't loose anything trying! hope it helped

you really do get to learn a lot when it comes to interest rates and saving/investing money, ig thats what you like do it but thats not for me so I don't see myself doing banking for much longer but its not a bad job

hey I believe the banking industry is changing, now we have to do more then teller work we open acts and do more not just the teller line work is usually all week but im sure banks offer part time

Hi I have been working at Chase for 3 years and I am interested in applying for a role at PNC but there are so many different banking roles. Is it possible if you can summarize what the difference is between a personal banker, universal banker, and a branch banker associate RRT is ?
hello! a universal banker does teller work and opens accts. I believe banks have different roles depending on the bank you work for. good luck im sorry I couldn't help as much as I wanted to. GOOD LUCK! :)

well it all depends on your tittle and experience I was brand new, now a supervisor but I make not even a dollar more than a teller so that tells you something 😭

its called a universal banker we do it all now open acts and stuff besides teller work
Solo V TV so yes a glorified teller. He’s not NMLS so it’s just a teller role with more work.

honestly none at all I was a server before that like a waiter
I used to work at walmart and they did ask for donations for Jean's day to, and I think I would personally hate your job lol money is one of the most sensitive subjects for people I cant imagine how often you get yelled at during a day lol
lol maybe they ask in every Job and yea its very strict and stuff since u deal w pals momney but if u know what ur doing and know how to handle ppl and certain situations u will be fine lol not to bad plus im super nice so almost everyones nice to me back

You’re not allowed to take picture of the banks money , you can record people if they give permission and the bank .
