thanks a lot for the video. its better to see than to hear but even better when you get both. I'd love to get your impression or opinion about the area. me and my family are coming there for a vacation in a few days. as an avid runner I like exploring the areas i visit and run in the neighborhood. Is it safe what's there to look out for. Can you recommend a 30km running stretch along the beach and in between the streets. its sad that one of your viewers describe it as not what it used to be. sounds like its deteriorating.
The South coast is an extremely beautiful part of the South African Coastline, unfortunately holiday makers have become less over the years, and the businesses that once thrived are taking strain, to be fair there also used to be much more activity in the Margate area planned for December but unfortunately due to the absolute misbehavior; littering and overcrowding on the public holidays no one is able to enjoy their holiday.
In a few days I'm coming to Margate for a vacation. its not good news that its not as GOOD as...I like doing parkrun in different places and was told it will not happen on the 1st of Jan due to misbehavior and littering of partygoers. Very unfair that partygoers' bad behaviour will stand on the way of other enthusiasts. I think law enforcement is partly to blame. as a result of less holiday makers business will suffer. Tourism is a huge revenue earner and Job creater.
I see you don't care where you park your vehicle. In a Police Only in Margate? Don't know if that was an actual parking spot in Uvongo. The video spent most of the time in your vehicle and not at the beaches, it was 5 o'clock and most people had left.
I can see now why holiday makers no longer go to the South Coast. What used to be pleasant is no more, what a dump the South Coast has become. So sad for local homeowners and businesses. On the flip side, the Western Cape is booming.
Thanks for the tour. Gonna be our home soon 🤘☮️

Seems like all the holiday makers are in the Western Cape?
