You really captured the sounds and feel of the bike, the bike has gone but as I have one and put a dynojet kit through it I can tell you it sound like someone has done that as I took the kit off as it always fouled the plugs, the standard jetting never did though.
Im having the same issue with fowling plugs also. Im working to figure out why. Theres something wrong thats causing it. I hope you told the buyer the issue before he gets stranded somewhere!
Certainly told him it ran rich but he didn’t care as he was buying it to completely strip and restore the bike as his first motorcycle project after spending years restoring cars! So everyone was happy!
@@kawakarma I concur! But if I had one in my early twenties,I wouldn't mind spending all the time in garage tinkering with it as long as I could ride it on Sunday's mornings without major problems. And the half fairing version is double as sexy in my humble opinion, doesn't hint that SS(supersport) designation so much,as it isn't a supersport in the real sense of the word, again in my humble opinion 🙃
600SS was my first bike after passing my test in "96. Cost me £4000 second hand. Got used to the power really quickly. Chopped it in for a 748 a year later. No regrets 😊
@@thetonetosser yeh I actually bought it for my daughter’s first bike - you can see that vid - but she never rode it - wife said no way! Even tho it’s not, it looks fast but does have a bit too much Italian character- she bought herself a Kwacha 400 instead! Also, v happy actually, sold her for $1,500 more than I’d paid and only spent about $500 on it while I had it😁👊
@@kawakarmaI always wanted a RVF400 back in the day. Finally got one a couple of years back. Lovely bike to ride but I'd forgotten how low powered these bikes are. Had it a couple of years then sold it. Now I want an RC45 but my bank account isn't interested 😊
I was sad when I sold my 600 Supersport. Then 2 days later someone bought my Moto Guzzi Griso. 2 italian princesses gone in 48 hours. I would buy another Supersport without hesitation. Maybe the 900 one day.
I enjoyed watching the restoration of your 600. Nicely done! I think if I ever get another Ducati it might be a Sport 1000 although I’d probably need help getting shoehorned into the riding position!😁👊

Been there, know the feeling.. Lovely bike too, sounds great for a 600! 🔥
Sorry to hear that. Man I wish we would have got the 600 in the states I would have gotten one when I was younger for sure.
