A great old sports bike. Had one, still plenty quick. Very envious. Mine had a Muzzy exhaust that you could get when you bought one. Threw mine down the strip at Ipswich Qld and from memory the best I ran was 10:45...quick enough for me. Doesn't sound too bad tbh with the old can...they need to sound "cranky and agro" . Rip the baffle out, tune it and let the Green Monster sing.
Hi, you’re right I should have. Just went for a good blast down the coast and back up the freeway and I couldn’t detect any flat spots or power drop. I am a little distracted by just how sharp and aggressive the sound is compared to the old can - love it but can’t forget the ear plugs now!
Exhausts have been the bane of my H2 life.. I have spent quite a while looking for an oem system and silencer as mine has a Micron exhaust currently fitted. I managed to find a complete system in Germany, but the silencer had lots of deep scratches from a previous off I’m guessing. I spent many hours using various grades of wet and dry to remove the scratches, and then more hours polishing. I have it where I want it now. Original parts get really hard to find with these old bikes. 🤦♂️ That Max Torque silencer looks so much better 👍🏼
Hey, not quite sure what you mean - the ZXR has its original swing arm- if you mean maybe the one in the background later in the video it’s on my Ducati 600ss. Thanks for watching! Cheers KK
Kudos on the new pipe! Sounds and looks great. Don't ever make the mistake and sell that bike like I did with my 92
Yep, no chance I'm selling the ZXR - they'll have to prise my cold dead fingers from the throttle after I've slid it sideways into the grave with me!😎
Rather tasty ZXR you've hot there my Ozzy friend.
Best regards.
Tasty! Rides like you're tearing a raw steak apart with your teeth with one hand while the other fends off a pack of hungry dogs!😬👊

They both sound pretty good but man the new one looks amazing
Cheers M - Beautiful job on that '93 ZXR tank a couple of weeks ago btw!👊

Hello,Did you dyno the bike before and after. Has the new muffler any flat spots in the rev range ?

Ah and Bike Kings gave it a tune when they installed it so a little difficult to compare- definitely running stronger

@@kawakarma I have a 1990 h2 and its swingarm is a little different, it does not have that upper jaw for the fender
You’re right. The H2 swing arm was a definite improvement on the H1.👍
