Hello from Belfast, I did the Astrophysics module at the Open University for my BSc. The module entails an astrophysics science project where I was remotely controlling (from Belfast) a Planewave 17" CDK in the PIRATE observatory in Mallorca, Spain. I wasn't allowed and didn't have time for taking pretty pictures. It was all data collection on eclipsing binary stars. However if you want a chance to do this I can't think or any alternative and affordable way! Email me if you want to know more. :)
@@astronomyireland5381 No, I was never going to work at this and already have engineering degree plus more. I still stargaze and do nightscape photography though.
