Watching this is like fast forwarding through a VHS while the CIA tortures you with music.

I hope in another life I’m a man, and I can do stuff like this.

Hey it's obvious you put a lot of work into this and you should be proud of yourself. The only thing that I would say for anybody wanting to do this is take the time to use copper plumbing. One slip and someone could break that beautiful faucet right off of those plastic fittings and a lot of work would be "down the drain"

Beautiful. I suggest you move away from cpvc pipes and use pex instead, with copper stub outs at the faucet. Cpvc is very brittle.

Very cool concept, I’m definitely stealing this idea. Would be cool if you could wait to do final finish coat on the floor and do it at the same time as the tub to eliminate any “seam” between the tub and the floor. Might be tricky but I might try it on a tiny bathroom I have coming up on a rehab project, will definitely try to take photos/videos to share when I do. Any details about materials used would be appreciated. Thx for the inspiration!

Astonishing work! Hot wire works better and it's much easier to shape the foam with it than carving (and it's also faster)

Thank you for sharing this. I'm not sure if anyone's asked you this, but how long did the overall project take?

Hello Daniel-- thank you for this video!-- We have been tirelessly researching how to build our own bathtub and have gone down the possibilities of tadelakt and pool plaster etc. But your bathtub looks wonderful, doable and sturdy...would you consider posting a material list, this would be so helpful!

After using it for a while, how has the water wear on it been? My understanding is that even sealed, the water can do some heavy wear, especially by the drain area. Looks great and would love to hear how its holding up. Thank you.

It is so awesome to see something that is needed in every bathroom but built with such creativity. A beautiful concept, and the streamline and design in the bathroom make one think that simple is better. i wish I could built something like that or maybe you can build me one, LOL
