Ukraine can be built back up pretty fast meaning within (10 years)! it will never be the same because of all the historical buildings that got razed in this stupid war. Modern building technology is here, with shipping containers, tiny homes, 3d printed homes, modular homes, Chinese house pods, or this way in the video, All technologies are advanced and cost-effective for quick set-ups. Mexican migrants are always looking for opportunities for their families and helping to rebuild Ukraine should be an option for that reason.

I’m elderly and my house is too much work and expense for me. Im told I need to downsize or move into a retire community. But that sounds very lonely and final. A huge dome greenhouse surrounded by 6 dome houses, would bring my family together, I wouldn’t be lonely and I could leave my grandchildren a legacy vs a house to sell. I need to sell my house to do this. I’ll have cash. Can this be done? Where do I begin?

I’m not in the community of the Domegaia “movement”. If I were you, just contact the maker of this video. He can point you in the direction. Organizing a training project at your property. Finding volunteers to help you with your dream project. It shouldn’t be difficult to realize it. Sorry. I live in Panama. Building my own house - all by myself. Two story circular house. Locals call it already the “Castillo” and I haven’t my roof on top yet. I couldn’t get a permit with aircrete. I’m using 6” concrete blocks for my construction. All the best for your project! ❤

Get your adult children on board FIRST, and it will take at least a year for planning, zoning, buying the land ect, it will take at least 2 years to COMPLEATE to move into. But you will need an company that can build your unique design like an apt builder. Also legal help with ZONING and it would fall under apt or muti house build LEGALLY. it may take longer to build that way. ( call it an extra 18 months for legal stuff before breaking ground and an extra year to build. )

If a husband and wife team worked on it how long will it take? Can anyone or a couple without construction/building experience do in in record time? Just asking because going by your title it looks like a dream come true in 8 weeks.

Been a dome fan for 45 years. Designed several AutoCAD models, based upon Monolithic Domes & followed the progress of Aircrete Harry.
Surprised that you don't use a stucco gun (not necessary with lots of troweling hands).
I see that we have come to the same conclusions:
    * 20 ft diameter is the ideal size for any multipurpose dome (Bedroom, Living room, Kitchen, workshop, etc.)
    * Arches are the ideal solution for transitioning to planar windows & doorways
Q: Is aircrete now International Building Code approved for occupied dwellings, with an engineer's stamp of approval or is that still a major obstacle in most states?

I'm left wondering about the costs per square foot in comparison to other building techniques. This looks time consuming, wasteful and expensive.

Well in my thoughts, I think it will payback once people see it’s bit the same old type of AirBnB “vibe”. It’s about to look, location, and what people can post on their social media and also take photos. If you hand something that’s different or at least stands out from the rest, then you’ll do better.

great job and good work but air create has got to the point they make inflatable domes that started out by stitching tyvek sheets together lol that they fill with a blower fan then cover them with chicken wire and blow the air create on just like spray foam or insulation spray it coat it one more wire layer spray it smooth it and then use fiberglass layers like these guys do ! do 1st 2 wire layers allow to dry remove the blow up dome and go to town with fiber glass layers until 6 to 8 inch thickness do a few domes with connective halls just build with cheap plywood rollable arch way hallway they do it the same way and just roll it to connect each dome 1 at a time. the stuff is great its just spray foam expansion foam mixed into actual concrete and you can do so much with the stuff! great stuff that seems to be kind of suppressed just like all the new innovative construction building materials etc not easy to push out the old dogs with infinity pockets, An endless stream of cash.
