For whats its worth which isnt much. I would pick he stock 2 or now the stock master. I just like them more. In 11/23 i heard the optics ready tanfoglios have major issues with the plate hardware so research that and if you want an optica ready id personally just send the tanfo slide to get milled its a better situation anyway just are married to one optic footprint.

I don’t have a stock II but that hard chrome finish says I need to. I have 3 shadow 2s I can trade or sell one off.

Could I ask which you would recommend if you could only have one? Looking to get one or the other for carry optics since Tanfoglio came out with the OR model. I am left handed as well if that changes your recommendation.

Love those guns. Almost bought a shadow 2 this last week with some of the PSA deals going on but really want a DA/SA one. Also be thinking of getting a tang/fo in 10mm. But alas…more guns I don’t actually need…😂😂😂

If you get a tanfo large frame you can swap barrels and magazines, so with one gun you can shoot 9mm,40 s&w, 45 acp, 38 super, 10mm.

They are both great guns and I love them but 2 totally different animals.
One is a carry do it all Gun , the S2 is more competition based.
