I have this application on all my devices. As a legally blind low vision user, I'm always a little paranoid about losing my phone. It's one of my many safety precautions and backup plans for such an occasion.
Is the app only good for one device or can you locate multiple devices with the same app?
@@davidbrown6137 in fact, as long as your device is signed into your Google account it can be located. Your Google account will have a list of your devices. All you really have to do is select the one you're looking for. It doesn't matter how many there are.

If you have more than one device logged into your google account, it will be in your list of signed in devices and have the same options available

I just tested it with my Pixel 8 pro with Android 14 latest beta and it can't find my device when it's off.
The option to configure offline location does not appear available in the menu.
Could this service not be available in Europe?
I don't really get how it works. Does it tell where the last location where the battery died or does it save some battery just in case it move location when it's at "zero percent" battery?
My wife’s 8 Pro is stuck in the March 5th update and will not update! Have you heard if this problem? We are on the Gulf Coast of Alabama a few states east of you.
Are you with AT&T? Google has an update but not quite rolling out yet. The new build number will have and ending b1. which I sideloaded last night and so far so good. My mobile network issue seems gone. Fingers crossed here.

this feature is game changer for people of pakistan cuz here there are alot of phone snatching cases everday like 500-800 cases a day and police is useless so does other sim tracking companies so I thnk this would be very benificial for us since goverment is useless here.

I leave in Israel and my wife is Ugandan,so from time to time am baying used phones from ebay for my family in Uganda.last time I bay 2 phones from USA and because of the war here since October it's take for them 6 months to reach me here.
Now the funny thing one of the phones get turns on without charging and was still having 12% battery after 6 months and let's say a week 😂
