I saw Blackberry Key 2 in the list. Now I want a revisit video.
I trot it out from time to time. It's still one of the best communicators ever made.

It looks like it's for Canada and US only, for now. The new design has been out for some time already though.

I'm in a country where Apple Tags have problems outside of airports as there are not so many iPhones. I installed on 2 devices, which are right next to me. My Surface Duo can find my Sony phone but my Sony phone can't see the Surface Duo. Sony headphones show up twice in the list but can't be contacted. Hmmm.

It's so quaint looking back at his object to a gadget tracking solution today, and seeing all the folks that had NO issues with Apple delivering a security nightmare with airtags.

I've installed the App, but i don't see any of the maps or shareing functionality that you mention here... just a list of devices. Your video doesn't explain any of the detaisl of how it all works for a non tech person. I just can't get this to work.
I'm going to go ahead and guess this requires me to keep my location settings always turned on.
I'm still not a fan of that particular setting so I guess yay for Android in general

That's a very good question I cant answer as I have dozens of active devices around me... Hmmm... Maybe a 2FA hardware key? I like my Yubico.
Will the Samsung tags support this?
I dont know if there's been official word yet. I HAVE to believe that Samsung will offer a model that works with GOogle, or like Quick Share, they just combine their protocols, but I don't think the current tags will be compatible.
3:20 Are you sure? I think you can switch between Google's Find My and the Pebblebee network, but Apple Find My requires a different model of tracker.
From Pebblebee's press release:
"Pebblebee is the only multi-platform connected tracking solution that works natively with both Google’s Find My Device ecosystem and Apple® FindMy™ MFi-certified trackers and asset management solutions."
Wait all this wasn't there before? Could have sworn I've had the pixel buds on the map for a year now
Better explicit support for ALL earbuds and BT audio devices.
I just wish that Find my Device app would track charging cases for true wireless earbuds.
Hopefully that'll come soon with updated earbuds.

People have to turn on this feature. People generally don't want to participate in such.
