  • I love this section of trail! It's easy to get yourself into a trance as you flow through the trees and start linking corners together :)
    Shot on the GoPro 9 mounted to a ‪@dangodesign‬ Gripper Mount.

    I have a 2023 Yamaha YZ 250X , the torque of this thing is impressive it will pull down to where you feel it’s going to stall and pull thru , runs on top like a jet fighter . Very pleased with performance .

    Are you gonna try the Hitlis Power Valve?

    Have you ever checked to see what kind of milage you get out of the stock tank? The enduros I do are around 45-50 miles to the gas stop and was wondering if I’d need an oversize tank or not. Thanks!

    • @JasonHamborg
      @JasonHamborg  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've never actually measured miles/kilometers. The old tank I could get 2 solid engine hours before hitting reserve. The 2023 one is a bit smaller though

    I hope Fisch Moto releases their electric start soon. Debating between a beta 300 or yz250x. There’s a great Yamaha dealer close to me.

      Unfortunately, I dont have an ETA anymore, but even without the button, I will attest to the reliability and overall "rad"ness of my 250x 😁 also, thanks for the support! Really appreciate the views!

      @@JasonHamborg Ok thanks for the update, and I realize the yz250x is very easy to kick. However, I am another hard enduro rider and being short (5’6”) means if I stall it in an awkward position in rocks or the side of a hill, I can’t kick it because I can’t reach the kicker without getting off the bike, which could also be difficult.

    How's ghe fast Flexx handlebars? Do they truely reduce vibration ?

    • @JasonHamborg
      @JasonHamborg  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They help with vibration, but I find they actually really help with fatigue. I have a bad wrist, also helps prevent soreness which is nice.

      @@JasonHamborgok thanks ; it so weird I have a bad wrist from previous injury and when the bar flex too much it hurts/get very sore. It did happen before with ACF pro taper handlebars.

    So is the 2023 better of the last 3 years models?

    • @JasonHamborg
      @JasonHamborg  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Basically the same bike with better ergonomics. So yes, but I've been telling people if they can find a good deal on a 20-22 than do that if you're worried about budget and okay with a used bike.

      Great to know
      I was a ktm guy since I start riding in 2014

      But I think my live come to the aluminum frame and Kyb suspension, so I was thinking to get a 250 x

    Short answer has Billetron pro been worth it? Been debating it for months now and I know you have had one on your bike at one point. Has is been worth it or not? you took the OG lectron off for bad bottom, many people said this. It kept me from buying one..... then the pro came out and it been hard to get info on it. Im not a fan of my bike running lean either like the SC and old lectron were kinda known for. Im curious about how the Pro has been for you?

    • @JasonHamborg
      @JasonHamborg  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      the Pro is better than the OG lectron for sure, not as much of an issue with losing that down low power. I think if you're riding in enough situations where you're having to rejet frequently, the Billetron Pro is a no brainer. If you're rarely changing locations and can get your kehin to work, it still can make excellent power across the range.

      @@JasonHamborg I do change elevation A LOT but its within a range of 1000-7500ish..... but that's really the only reason I want one at this point. The big selling point used to be "increased fuel economy" until I realized you get that by running lean. I mean the pro is basically a normal carb at this point with having 3 circuits. So I kinda started doubting if it was even worth it now. If the ONLY benefit is the adjusting for elevation then I might just stick with the stock carb. Especially if there is no other benefit like increased MPG or power. Sigh...... for $800 I want more then that. Well thanks for the reply dude, I guess I'll keep thinking about it.
