  • Come take a walk with me: Today I visit Fuzhou West Lake.
Fuzhou West Lake Park has a history of over 1700 years and is the most complete classical garden preserved in Fuzhou to date. It is known as the "Fujian Garden Pearl" and ranks among the top 36 West Lakes in China.
Fuzhou West Lake Park is located in Wolong Mountain in the northwest of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. Entering the gate, the long causeway lies on the waves, and weeping willows are on the way.
On a beautiful day in spring, the willows turn green, the peach blossoms are like fire, and when viewed from afar, they are like ribbons in the lake.
Kaihua Island is the core tourist area of West Lake. To the north of Kaihua Island and across Yudai Bridge is Yaojiao Island, which has buildings such as the Provincial Museum, Art Exhibition Hall, and West Lake Cinema. Go west over Feihong Bridge on Kaihua Island and reach Xieping Island. Xie Ping Island is a children's entertainment park with various children's amusement facilities.

Hey James, love your video street walking the City of Fuzhou. I was originally from Mawei District of Fuzhou, which is a little far out from the City center. Hope you can do a walking video over there too, as it was my childhood hometown. I moved to the States during my teens, had some fond memories there!
