  • We spend the day touring around Fuzhou city and end up in the Ancient City area. With 2000 years of history this place was an interesting site to see. Come join Weifang and I on this little adventure.
In 2011 my first grandchild was born with a rare and complex genetic condition called Prader Willi Syndrome. This condition comes with many symptoms, the most prevalent being that she is plagued to feel hungry constantly. Although she is living a life of continued challenges associated with her condition, she is an amazing little girl who has and continues to face everyday with a smile and determination to do her best. My daughter Miranda has set up a fundraising page in support of the Foundation of Prader-Willi Research Canada whose mission is to eliminate the challenges of Prader Willi Syndrome through the advancement of Research. I would greatly appreciate if you would show them some support in their fundraising efforts. Your donations will help make a difference in my granddaughter Emelyn’s life. She is a special little girl.
    Thank you! fundraise.fpwr.ca/goto/TeamEme...

Some people said 'CPC make China lose its culture'. Aren't they stupid, or blind. What are these towns built for. I would say because people have well-off lives and therefore we have more time to learn, enjoy and explore our culture

@1:19, look at the clean street, no litter, no graffiti, no beggar, no homeless, no security guards, no steel security doors. Without looking at the picture, you know I’m not referring to NYC, Chicago, LA, Phili, Camden, Baltimore, Cleveland, Oakland, Miami, St Louis, Atlanta,

@Jon S ::: your comment is typical of those blinded by anti China propaganda published by US corporate media and sponsored by the US government. They would rather have Americans live in the filthy, high crime, and drug infested cities than admit China has clean streets, low crime, and next to zero narcotic addiction problem.

China is so beautiful and interesting. It's great when Kirk can cover the beautiful and interesting rather than politics. I do appreciate his down-to-earth perspective of 2000 years of history versus seeking out the local beer. One makes the other worthwhile. Thank you China TV for making this possible.

You know gweilo60, a bit of near history, but there was a time during the war and famine and corrupted government where a lot lot of young men of fuzhou and fuzhian had to run away to greener pastures for food and you will find them now in SEAsia especially Malaysia Thailand and Indonesia.... but we are still bound by the culture that never fades..... long live greater 中国
BTW, the fuzhou courtyard house is quite similar but smaller to the garden houses of Suzhou

@Jon S Um.. Disappointing you, I am not a CPC (nothing called CCP) member, so my comment is not posted by CPC. However, I don't deny that I support CPC because it does great job to improve the whole country. If you did not leave a hate comment about the CPC, I don't need to clarify my support to the Communist Party of China. Hope my stance would not make you furious 😌

@Jon S Uyghurs is one of largest ethnic groups in China. I say CPC has done a great job to the whole country. Of course the Uyghurs is included. In 1949, the life expectancy of people in Xinjiang was less than 40 years old. However, it's over 70 nowadays. The population of Uyghurs has doubled since 1949 too. I hope you can have a visit to Xinjiang and realize that the Western media is systematically telling a lie to bad mouth China.
