Hello everyone, my name is James aka CommiePommie, a British Australian living in China 🇨🇳 Here I'll be sharing my experiences and opinions, often while walking and talking, relating to the country I now call home.
China is home to beautiful people, amazing food, stunning landscapes and architecture. China has a very long history, thus has evolved very differently to the West and one really needs to see it to believe it.

Safety in China - Yes, it is pretty darn safe! As an Australian living in China, I can honestly say that it is an incredibly safe place to live.
Why we choose to live in China

Last night on the 4th July 2023 at 8pm Beijing time, I joined a live stream with Jerry's Take on China. I recently tweeted about my story of how I came to be in China. It included all the problems that most struggle with when assimilating with this strange new culture. I also described the reasons behind my decision to stay and then, after leaving to go back to Australia, come back with a famil...

Come take a walk with me: Today I visit Fuzhou West Lake. Fuzhou West Lake Park has a history of over 1700 years and is the most complete classical garden preserved in Fuzhou to date. It is known as the "Fujian Garden Pearl" and ranks among the top 36 West Lakes in China. Fuzhou West Lake Park is located in Wolong Mountain in the northwest of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. Entering the gate, the...

For me, a man who lived in communist country, fact that China is a COMMUNIST country - its disqualified. Why? Cause everywhere communism led to the same cruel and stupid things like in other countries where it was forced , its not important how China is developed technically - its not country without constant eye of "Big Brother", and i saw that in South Korea, when i lived in the same hotel where group of china laborers where placed, we both worked in Daewoo factory in 1997, as a trainee labor. They were constantly supervised by their , i suppose, political officer (camouflaged as a typical supervisor), after few contact with our group, they were "corrected" by force and political meetings, typical for commie countries. They always goes to job like regular army unit, in group, day by day. So im not delusional - China grows in matter of economy and tech, but stand down in the same point in matter of commie state. Better option is Taiwan, but im not too rich to get there😏. BTW : You , Austrialian guy - sound like advertise of CCP. How much they payed you? Maybe im wrong, but ... convince me that you not lying for easy money. Cause who cares what im telling, they payed, so im talked, business done.
You never spoken to the "commie" because you don't speak the language. Everything you said is made up from your bias imagination. Nobody should be giving you a pence to your narrative. Your "experience" is worth trąsh
There are many positive things about China though no doubts there are also something negative. Just have to visit and see for yourself and not rely on the news.
One thing i do know take everything that China says with a grain of salt. Good luck. No hate on China people just the ccp.
Chinese people love their ccp govt. Obviously you've never been to China. So really zip the F up. You are just repeating fake news cliche "I love the people not the ccp" blah blah blah
Come back and tell us the truth and facts

Hi there...is this place far from the airport
According to Google Maps, it is about one hour from the Fuzhou International Airport.
China has a lot of drugs and violence as well, but the difference is that the government covers up murders and drug stats.
