Tip: Using redoubt bolt on smaller enemies have them susceptible to critical attacks. So pressing the heavy button after redoubt bolt can cause an execution causing massive damage that can almost one-hit small enemies.
Magike speregonne is pretty underrated with how much it can do on weak area’s on enemies. It’s hard to aim when you consume a lot of stamina but it auto aims relative to what you’re aiming at.
@@saintgamer6973 you have to charge it more? I do hella damage with it. Edit: just dusted a Chimera, at one point I took a whole bar and a half of health with a headshot to the goat…

Thanks for the video. This is the most in depth guide to playing the mystic spearhand I’ve seen and also validates the style I’ve been using. Some info I would like to add - mirour shelde lasts about 5 seconds and 7 seconds after upgrade. It does not prevent fall damage. Learnt the hard way. - forbeding bolt can be charged to a second stronger version. So that’s regular tap, 3 sec charge and roughly 10 sec fully charged. Not done the testing on how much more stun the max version gives. Usually decimate the foes before the stun ends. Will update after more testing. - magike cut. I’ve found it most useful after a forbeding bolt, quik fot then magike cut for a nice execution against trash mobs. Also primarily use this against those flying spirit wisps at night. If anyone knows a better skill against them, please let me know.
This is the best vocation for the Arisen in the game if you want your pawns to actually do anything - the shield is insane for defense, as it allows your pawns to take hits without taking damage or being flinched! Very important for casters, and allows you to murder Drakes, who tend to fly then crash down. The shield just completely negates all the damage from this, and most of the time the knockdown as well (sometimes it doesnt, I do not know why, its like 10% it happens, very wierd).
Very informative and helpful I appreciate this video, once I seen mystic spear hand I knew it was my cup of tea but struggled even though I flow pretty good. Didn’t know about the fury master skill so that helps me as well but the R1 and teleporting I had issues hitting it correctly you just basically made my Friday brother this weekend will be lit ❤ Thank you keep creating shit bruv
Imho Mirrour Shelde is a great tool to learn mystic spearhand, but once you've become good at it the skill slot is much better used on Dragoun's Foin or Devout Offringe

You don't need to complete monster culling for the melve dragon fight to trigger, I'm pretty sure it's just time passing. I got mystic spearhand before I even talked to the captain guy
Does leveling work like the first game? Like if you want to have a mystic spear hand build you would for example level up mage and sorcery first then fighter then etc and land with mystic spear hand at the end? Or does it not matter now?

Do you think you can make a guide for a warferer class that uses mystic spearhand and the normal archer i love those two classes but dont know how to combine the skills
You should combine Mystic Spearhand with Magik Archer..I feel like that’s the BEST combination for the Warferer Vocation. I personally think Magik Archer is OP because it’s skills that can 1 shot enemies although you’ll be vulnerable since it’s an archer you get the benefits of switching to Mystic SpearHand for close combat
@@donavonlynch2031 I just find magic archer a little boring since it is so op and I like animation for the normal archer a little more fun like the jump shots and sliding etc
Looking at all of them I would probably go with: Mage 5 - Exaltation Archer 4 - Lethality Archer 2 - Endurance Magick Archer 2 - Voracity Warfarer 1 - Zeal Mystic Spearhand 3 - Polarity I like Polarity because it's 5% boosts as opposed to 30 flat. A lot of these augments are gated by high vocation ranks though, and I don''t think they are worth most people's time to grind. Mage for example is way different and will probably not match the preferences of someone who wants to play MS.

Perhaps? I haven't done any direct comparisons, but all these classes offer different experiences. It's a single player game, so it's entirely dependent on preference, and this class is very unique in aesthetic and playstyle. My party got attacked by Harpies and it was really annoying having to wait for them to come down and land a lucky hit to get them to stay on the ground. no. it just requires a good player skill for it to work. It is one of the broken classes in the game. Mirror shield + Thef's hond basically gives you unlimited stamina and shield.
