I love the way subarus steer compared to most vehicles. The steering isn't loose when driving on the highway. And I don't really need it to go very fast since I don't drive that much and I've been told I drive like a grandma
With the Legacy going back to turbo hopefully the Forester XT will return.

The sound outside the Forester when you shut the door while the key fob is with you sounds the same as on every Toyota models.
Great video I really like the way the new Forester's look and was looking to replace my Civic with the Forester. I would get the Sport trim but it doesn't have the color I'm looking for so I might be looking at either the Limited or Touring
trim.

I like that interior with the orange accent design like the rav4 adventure one. They both have better looking interiors. Both the forester sport and rav4 adventure are better in off road than the Nissan Rogue. So either the forester sport or the rav4 adventure will be my pickup.

I like the interior design better the previous gen. It seems quicker than the numbers would suggest. It also seems quite noisy....
Speed is great and all but honestly it's not the main reason for wanting this car....this car is just a master piece from top to bottom 👌

In the 4:10 time shows one of the mode for the Subaru sport edition, which one is it? What should be the proper way to operate/drive this car in a regular basis???
for 180hp and SUV this has good power.
2.5l is decent for suv. Compare them to a 1.6l turbo like honda or kia.. i prefer this one instead.
After all for all of recent FXT owner, definitely weaks for an aggressive look

Good car, definitely not sporty, great ride comfort though.

... Back in 2017 we looked at ALL the CUVs, even the Soul+ and found our way back to the cx-5. All the CVT utes were pathetic (borderline dangerous) , including the Forester. The rubberbandness killed the thrill and put acceleration in doubt. The Soul+ was #2, Forester 3rd.

If you're going to put a cvt in a car, at least don't make it less efficient by making it pretend to have gears. Seems pretty silly to me. It's a crossover SUV pretending to be something sporty with orange trim pieces everywhere but it's still slow. Just build it for what it actually is, an efficient kid mover and grocery getter.
Or a really long ass road trip with few friends. This thing keeps going.

No turbo, no Forester.
Nobody was buying the turbo because only 5% were sold. What company is going to produce a vehicle with those sales? The CEO or Manufacturer would be insane to do so. Now everyone is complaining about not having it in the lineup. Well? Everyone had the chance to get the turbo. Now, I guess if you keep complaining about it, they probably will bring it back. Although it looks and sounds good with the new global platform Forester at 182 HP and 176LB torque. Subaru was named the best company for 2019 by Consumers Report mainly because of the new global platform Forester. Another list that names Lexus for more than a decade now at number 1, named Subaru 4th. Only Toyota and Mazda beat it for 2018. Would of done better except for some issues with the WRX and STI. Which will have the new global platform next year. I love the sound of this Forester engine, and smooth shifts. I bet you any money we'll see the turbo version back like the Outback new global platform 2020 that has 260HP. It would be great to have a choice of the turbo Forester

Weak engine....bring back XT Turbo
Yeah bring back the turbo and the premium fuel requirements and the 6 month service intervals so 5 percent of Forester owners can speed past cars doing the legal speed limit on the highway and prove what exactly? This car has 136 kilowatts of power from a 2.5 litre four, my first car a 1978 GM product had a 4.2 litre V8 that made 83 kilowatts and about the same torque and even that was sufficient if you want to go faster than everyone else don’t buy an suv if you want more towing power buy a truck don’t want a 2.5 litre naturally aspirated Forester don’t buy one, 5 percent of customers aren’t going to change Subaru’s mind.
@@aural_supremacy I have owned three of them with no problem at all. You don´t pay my fuel and you don´t pay my services. 5% or less buy Mercedes AMG, 5% or less buy Audi S, 5% or less buy BMW M......bye !!
